The Island Part 1 "Are you a Number?"

/Ignoring Abner--seeing as he's still in his windowless house--Todd blinks at the sudden appearance of the girl, and deepens his frown. Holograms seemed like the obvious choice for the sudden appearance, given the burst of smoke--it didn't seem like the ideal conditions to create one, but a clever person could work around things like that. He always did.
The girl--real or not--seemed to have him at a disadvantage, so, though he sighed inwardly, he decided to play along.../

"Excuse me, miss--but early for what? And what announcement is this, exactly...?"

[Kether]

The little girl hops onto his head as if trying to disprove his theories, "That's Princess Rihatsu to you, Number 23, or Milady. or your Highness.."

/Almost visibly annoyed at being called Number 23' for a moment, Todd takes a second to cool himself down. Again, little good came from open expression of rage.
He frowned at the sudden weight on his head though, as she jumped on him. Not a hologram apparently...but then what? She must have been hidden behind the post, and jumped up in the smoke, despite him not seeing any sign of that before...
...
Once he found out who it was behind this though, he assured himself, his company, the Whirlwind, would make them wish that they'd never been born.
With this thought in mind, he reached up to remove the little girl, frowning./

"My...apologies, 'Princess Rihatsu'. Would you answer my questions then, perhaps?"

[Kether]

*She then hops to the ground*"They announce why you're here and stuff."

[Alissa of Someday]

"Oh really?"

/Todd allows himself a small smile. Apparently he'd revealed the girl ahead of schedule. That was something, at least--a sign of imperfection in whoever had brought him here.../

"And would you care to enlighten me...'Milady'?"

[Kether]

"Can't tell you early, its their thing...so why are you the only one outside?"

[Alissa of Someday]

/Todd shrugs./

"Perhaps...the others...decided to sleep late./

/Absentmindedly, he observes the sun's position, to try and divine the time./

'Whose thing is this, now...?"

[Kether]

"Nope can't tell ya anymore"

[Alissa of Someday]

"I see."

/His expression remains the same, but her frowns inside, irritated. This might be more difficult then he had hoped./

"Until the others come out, you say?"

[Kether]

"I think so... that's how they do it in most villages... you people must be slow"

/Raises an eyebrow./

Most villages, you say?
How many have there been?"

[Raleigh]

Yawns as there is nothing of interest in the room so he sets about going back to sleep where he sits. "I'm sure whoever set this up will get around to introducing whatever is going on. Might as well wait until then."

[Kether]

"Lots and lots"

"Wowie wow wow! A cute little kitsune girl! SANTA DID GIVE ME MY CHRISTMAS PRESENT AFTER ALL!"

Like a hungry dog on lamb chops, Solomon pounced on Rihatsu and began to snuggle her as though she were a teddy bear. His grip on the girl was steel-like; it would take the jaws of life to pry him away from his new plaything.

"Wowie wow wow! A cute little kitsune girl! SANTA DID GIVE ME MY CHRISTMAS PRESENT AFTER ALL!"

At the sudden appearance and glomping, she growls and disappears into a poof of smoke sitting once more ontop of the speaker, "you're so lucky I have to wait.."
