Age of Darkness

[Zoey]

Uther follows Alicia, Lenalee at his side with rifle drawn. None of them said a word.

[Haylie]

Uther will be able to sense the vampire easily now, despite Alicia's oscillating energies. It's obviously very close, even to the humans, as the air is steadily dropping in temperature and the shuffling of the undead is clearly heard. After another moment or two of hiding, the vampire appears around a corner, followed by a battalion of zombies.
The vampire is not the most attractive man on the planet, mostly because of his blood-covered business suit, pale skin, matted black hair, and blacked out eyes. The fangs coming from the corners of his mouth, still covered in fresh blood, don't help his appearance either. He's clearly angry about something because he's sneering. Perhaps the destruction of his first wave of zombies has caused him some degree of distress, because he's walking back up the street toward the survivor's camp.
Alicia doesn't budge.

[Zoey]

Uther extends his arm towards the fleeing vampire. With a clench of his fist, the ground under the vampires feet trap his legs. "Where do you think your going?" asked Uther openly to the inmobalized vampire. Lenalee turned to Alicia. "Aren't you going to kill him?"

[Haylie]

Alicia looks back at him. "Why should I? There's another there."

This is as confusing a statement as ever heard.

All Uther's leg trap does is make the vampire even angrier, though it does make him stop and look around.

[Ookalf]

Another?

[Sam]

That could be trouble

[Zoey]

Uther sighs. "This chick really needs a vacation" he thought. He turned to Lenalee. "You get the vampire, I'll deal with his friends" he ordered. With the same fist he used to trap the vampire, he slamed it into the ground. Shock waves ripple throught the ground as stone spires ravage through the zombie ranks that acompanied the vampire. Lenalee loaded her rifle and shot a round aiming at his heart. A normal round wouldn't do nothing, but the one she shot at him explodes after contact. After the explosion covered the hit vampire, Lenalee jumps. "Direct hit!" she shouted.

[Haylie]

(What did I say about army-clearing spells?)

[Zoey]

((It's not army clearing, it's like stone spikes rise randomly around the zombie horde. It could kill some, but most of them would just fall and fly around, then they would just stand up, being the pesky zombies they are. If Uther were to use an army clearing spell he would just make the ground swallow them whole or something))

[Haylie]

(Okay, then)

The zombies land in various positions, flop around for a bit, then finally climb to their feet. Four are killed.

The vampire finally works out what's happening and works his legs free, glaring at the group's alley. Before he can take two steps, however, a muffled shot rings out, accompanied by a flash of bright light, and the vampire, as well as four or five more zombies, are ripped not-so-cleanly in half. Alicia steps out of the alley to look up the street.

[Ookalf]

He went down fast... *Liz starts picking off zombies with her rifle.*

[Zoey]

"That was for you my sweet" said Uther in a playful tone as he smiled at Alicia.

[Sam]

*Jake takes out his magnum and begins to shoot at the remaining zombies

[Haylie]

Alicia ignores Uther as she readies her own over-sized machine gun and fires at the horde. From the group alone firing, maybe thirty zombies are downed in the first few seconds. Several more of the mysterious bisecting shells fly through the group, adding to the blood bath.

It's not long before the last of the zombies fall. From up the street, where the mystery shells came from, a figure approaches the upper body of the dead vampire and kicks it. The... thing looks human, but there's this... presence about it similar to the one Alicia gives off, but... different. Darker.
It's carrying something not dissimilar to a bazooka under its arm. It turns its attention to the alley where the group is hiding, but its face still can't be seen. Alicia speaks with maybe a little bit more positive emotion than usual.

"It's been a long time." She waves for the rest to exit the alley.

*Liz steps out of the alley.* You know this person?
