((Apologies again for the massive delay))

An unusually young maid is sitting in front of a canvas, painting what looks to be a landscape and humming quietly to herself. She isn't facing Amaya and probably doesn't notice her.
There are doors on either side of the hallway, and all along it...which way could the kitchen be?

She leans her head back to face Amaya without turning around, and giggles. "I wasn't going anywhere, I think you weren't watching~," she says playfully, in an irresistibly cute voice. Then she whispers: "You're new here, aren'tcha? The kitchen is thatta way." She points toward what would have been a right turn from the room Amaya originally came from, a left turn when exiting the room she's now in.

The indicated doorway doesn't have a door, and seems to lead to another hallway; just as Amaya gets to it, something very, very big, humanoid and covered in fur steps through. It seems to completely ignore her, moving around her and somehow avoiding physical contact.

It smells relatively clean and manages to do this without messing up her hair...then it moves on. Something about being that close to something so huge...stirs up some fear in Amaya.
There are doors on the left and right side of the hallway she's now facing (which is perpendicular to the hallway she was just in), and it seems she's been directed toward the left door..
Whatevr89532 wrote:The door in question is of the swinging variety, that can be pushed open from either side; inside she finds...a kitchen! It's a long rectangle, the longer side being from where she's standing to the opposite wall. There are lots of cabinets, two big refrigerators, at least three sinks and several ovens, microwaves, stoves, and some other odd appliances she's never seen before in her life! The sinks are easy enough, and one of the refrigerators has a water and ice dispenser attached, so that's half the problem solved..but where to even begin looking for cups? And there's nobody in here right now to demand help of, either...
