[Xia]

"well, I cant see. I was joking. you three obviously have great communication skills."

*sighs*

"I have the feeling teamwork is slightly alien to you three"

[Goose]

Coming to the conclusion that his sensei is going to remain tight-lipped, Chuusa slouches down and sighs. Instead of trying to get to know everyone better, he just decides that the whole lot of them are boring people. Not very mature... but what do you want? He's just a kid. At least he's showing some wisdom and good judgment by not voicing his complaints to the group...

"Wow... You guys didn't have anything interesting to say. You're all boring."

...Okay, so wisdom and good judgment aren't his strong suits.

[Princess Shiko]

Misato pondered this for a second. "Y'know Chuusa, you're right. We're dull. Dull, dull dull. How inconsiderate of us not to be more entertaining to your every whim, will, and wish." She shook her head, and dopeslapped Chuusa. "Exciting enough for you yet?"

[Musashi]

Kajika gave Chuusa the Stare of Evil Not-Niceness. "I only tell things about myself to my friends. And it's not my job to amuse you."

Then she turned back to their sensei. "Obviously this is all pointless. When does our training begin?"

[Xia]

(apologies for the massive delay)

"well I think this should prove to be a very interesting grouping."

*yawns a bit*

"Anyways, my name is Inuzuka Mai and your training will begin tomorrow. Be at the entrance to the old mines at 4:30am sharp, whoever is not there gets to repeat the academy all over again."

*with a wan smile, Mai's body wavers...and vanishes*

[Goose]

Chuusa looks around a bit, not quite sure how she did that...

"Did she say 4:30 AM?! I can't wake up that early!! This is stupid! Ninjas always go on night missions, right?! Why should we train so early?"

He sits back down and ponders his dilemna... Ah HA!

"I know! I just won't go to sleep!! That way I won't have to wake up early!"

Basking in his own genuis, Chuusa walks home, giving a nonchalant goodbye wave to his teammates.

[Musashi]

Kajika slid out of her seat, arms folded, and went trudging out, mumbling along the way, "He really /is/ an idiot..."

[Xia]

(Frost seemed to have disappeared...so right now we are gonna skip him and continue)

* In the administrative office, a member of ANBU is leaning against a wall, talking to the Hokage *

"Hokage-sama, how do the new genins look?"

*the Hokage pauses for a second, considering things, then responds*

"well, I have high hopes for them, and there is one group in particular I am watching with interest"

"oh?"

"you do remember that she is back from the hospital, ne?"

"..."

*the ANBU shinobi gets off the wall and faces the Hokage*

"She is in charge of new genins?! What about the incident she caused last time! She got two of her genins killed, and damn near lost the third one!"

"calm down, you and I both know she had no idea the single D-rank criminal she and her genins were to bring in would turn out to be 3 A-Ranks and an S rank. The fact that one of the genins survived is testement to her abilities"

* the ANBU member doesn't look to happy...*

"well...I am going to watch her..."

"if you wish. She won't let a repeat happen"

"You might be confident, but I will not let someone live through the hell I did"

*standard ANBU style, the shinobi vanishes, leaving the Hokage to consider this...*

[Ok, you guys can now do whatever you want at your chars respective homes or what not, then make your way to the old mine]

"Dad! I'm home!"

Closing the door behind him, Chuusa gets himself a glass of water and drinks it down. His father catches him spinning some sharp kitchenry in his hand, and promptly orders him to put it down... The ninja heritage in his family comes from his mother's side, therefore Chuusa becoming a mere Genin makes him more powerful than his own father. This doesn't stop his father from being stern with him when necessary, nor does it stop Chuusa from listening to him.

Chuusa heads upstairs to his room, munching on an apple. He takes a nap in the afternoon, preparing for his all-nighter. He wakes up for dinner, teases his little brother a bit, and tells his parents about his day. His 7-year old brother is absolutely fascinated, his dad fakes interest, and his mother takes the "know-it-all parent" stance, criticizing his instructors every step. "She's not good enough for my baby." was the common refrain of the night. He left out the 4AM training session bit, knowing they wouldn't agree to him staying up all night. Once everyone was in bed, Chuusa sneaks outside with his dartboard in hand. He gets to the entrance of the mines at about 11PM, sets his board to the side of a tree, and starts chucking stars at it. It's the closest thing to actually training the kid will do.

*THUNK* A star hits the bullseye.

"Only got to kill about 5 hours... Piece of cake!"

*THUNK* A star hits exactly 10 inches above the bullseye.

"I'll bet those two don't even make it on time... Ha ha ha."

*THUNK* A star hits exactly 10 inches below the bullseye.

"Maybe I'll get new partners!"

*THUNK* A star hits exactly 10 inches to the left of the bullseye.

"I hope they're a lot nicer than those other two..."

*THUNK* A star hits exactly 10 inches to the right of the bullseye. He is out of stars, and walks over to the board to take them out and start over. He plucks each one out, goes back a bit further, and starts throwing again.

*THUNK* A star hits the bullseye.



"...They are nice to look at, at least"

Kajika returned home to the usual. A quiet greeting to and from her parents, and also a quiet dinner. All that was spoken about was a little about Kajika's team, sensei and 4:30 AM training session, which only got a few nods and 'Hms' out of her parents.

She went to bed early, thus waking up early, so she didn't have to rush through the usual routine of washing up, dressing, equipping herself and eating a light breakfast.

Soon Kajika departed for the mines, arriving there at about 4:15.

[Princess Shiko]

Misato was waiting before the mines, looking both nonplussed and entirely awake, by the time Kajika got there. "Morning." The obligatory greeting dealt with, she returned to what she had been doing before; checking her equipment and stretching.

"You ready?"

[Musashi]

Kajika raised an eyebrow. "Of course. Why wouldn't I be ready?"

Without waiting for a reply, she turned away and began her own stretching routine, seeming as though she had forgotten she was even talking to anyone, or that anyone else was even there.

[Goose]

"......Zzzzzzzzzz...."

Chuusa is still at the entrance of the mines, sitting right next to a tree.

He is sound asleep.

[Xia]

"Well children? Aren't you going to come in?"

*a voice wafts out of the cave, their Jounin's voice*

[Princess Shiko]

With an overdramatic flourish, Misato beckoned towards the cave entrance. "Since our dear Jounin has made it quite clear where we are to go, shall we depart post haste?" A sarcastic smirk traced her lips. "Or, we could stand out here, flapping our lips and accomplishing nothing. I, for one, shall enter."
