"Take yer horse over there... the stables are through the door to tha left." He points it out. "When yer done we have some stew on."
The silence seems to swallow his bellow... then a gust of wind blows through, rustling the trees. On the wind he could swear he heard faint whispering. As it dies down, he hears a creak from inside the keep, and a hollow rustling klinking sound.

Blaze wrote:James rolls his eyes and climbs up onto the horse.
"Thanks for your help."
He urged the horse into a trot and left the city.
ZeroForever wrote:Victor lead his horse to the stables still rather cautious of the situation but accepting as it wouldn't be the first time random people made livings in strange places. Returning to the main room he greeted the other travelers with the standard intro he had given Stren examining them all the while.

Reaching a hand behind her shoulders, she lifted the large shield onto her arm, holding it infront of her, still able to easily carry the giant sword in one hand when it should have been too heavy for even both hands! "I didn't come here to play games.... ", she spoke as she heard the breathing.
Nevrina's face went bright red as the voice purred inside her mind. One hand caught the edge of the door frame as the rush of pleasure flowed through her. Her knees went weak, and she had trouble staying on her feet, looking deeply ashamed as she let out a moan. In a desperate attempt to free herself, a ball of flame erupted in her free hand, and she flung it across the room, accidentally setting fire to the staircase...

He'd done well today and he deserved a decent night's sleep. Out of his heavy armor, Trey felt slightly vulnerable, but he'd also trained for a time without his armor so that in these situations, he'd be prepared. His bastard sword, held in one hand usually, was held fast in both hands and pointed downward as he stared into the depths of the forest. He couldn't shake the feeling that he was being watched...or that something was near. He couldn't help but think about his reaction to the foul nature warrior. She'd ridden up to him to merely speak...or at least claim her kill and he'd ignored her as if she didn't even exist. Deep inside, he felt guilty...as she'd ridden into the forest he was tempted to break his silence but his own hubris kept him from warning her.
As Gregor lay still trying to sleep he couldn't shake the odd whispering in his ear; but only as he drifted near the edge of sleep. As he shook his head to listen more intently, it'd be gone. He remembered earlier when the nature paladin rode up to them...but seeing Trey ignore her, he knew he'd get in trouble if he did anything else but look forward. He was worried about her...Trey had told him the forest was dangerous further in. If Trey was cautious, he figured she should be too...but he couldn't say anything then. After a while, he figured the whispering was just his imagination and that the warrior from earlier would be okay Gregor surrendered to sleep.

The man sniffs the air , but allows himself a small smile.
"Then I must be in the right place."
Dismounting his horse, he carefully ties it up, before straightening, and heading into the keep!
Knight Errant wrote:The travelers seem to be mostly rangers, with a few brave merchants, travelers, and adventurers. One of the merchants, who's name was Damien, seems to take interest in him. "So whats a young boy like you doing in the Watchwood?"
Inside the keep, he finds a once-grand entry hall. Rotted tapestries adorn the walls, and doors on both sides of the room lead to who knows where? Up ahead, he sees what looks for all things like a chapel. A strange looking altar at the head, and pews in front of it. Also, the growth outside seems to have given up upon the threshold of the keep. No grass, trees, weeds, or even spiders have infiltrated the keep. For all he knew, he might be the first living thing to enter the keep in hundreds of years.
With that thought, one of the doors to his left creeks open, revealing a skeleton clad in rusty plate wielding an equally rusty sword. Its bones glow a faint red, as it opens its mouth and hisses at him... clattering forward with no doubt homicidal intent.
all_knowing_frog wrote:"Where, in the name of all that is holy, are the monsters comming from and what can I do to get them to stop?" gestures towards the the main gate, "I'm tired of no business going on! I even helped the bastards down there, hoping theye'd trade with me -then-."
ZeroForever wrote:Victor noting the situation decided to go with the generic truth approach to the question "I'm am simply doing the lords will, cleansing evil though really shouldn't need special reasons though but the priesthood is rather lax otherwise."

"Hrmph."
The man steps backwards with a practiced nonchalance...and suddenly his sword is in his hands!
"Mine's sharper."
With that he charges forwards, trying to cleave off its sword-arm!
all_knowing_frog wrote:"Look, if you don't tell me, the gate's gonna be gone as I leave." growls at him, one of the lenses falling in front of his eye, making it look much bigger then normal... not all that threatening, grumbles as he moves it out of the way again. "I'm an alchemist, alright? One of the best there is. Infact, I'm known for being able to fight with alchemy, unlike most. If I wanted to, I could get you to tell me by forcing a truth serum down your old throat." pauses, then takes several deep breathes, "...sorry, I'm kinda stressed, just please, tell me."
Blaze wrote:James mulls over what the king told him, barely notices the time past and only snaps out of it when he arrives at the camp.

He dismounts the horse and sits down next to the fireplace.
Ickle Harri-chan wrote:Ginny's heart skipped a beat at the shriek, and she lifted her shield a little higher as the winged creature dropped from above. As it lunged for her neck, she bashed her shield towards it's face, and then lifted a leg, trying to kick her heavy boot towards the creatures stomach as the smell of smoke grew from behind her.
Nevrina clasped both hands over her mouth as she realised it was her that had been laughing. Her wide eyes squinted around the room as she turned in a circle, and then one of those hands dropped down against the front of her golden robe, down between her thighs, "Wh-What will happy to Ginny?", she asked nervously as she looked for the source of the voice in her mind.
