[Haylie]

Paula can't quite hide her look of disgust as she began removing her armor's gauntlets. "Yessir."

She set the heavy gloves on a nearby table and picked up one of the dresses, a blue one. She gave a satisfied nod and walked back over to the young bounty hunter, her surprisingly small, delicate hands turning and feeling the fabric. "I don't think they'll miss one of these. Looks like it'll fit fine. Put your arms up," she ordered, motioning at Claudia.

Claudia's reaction mirrored Paula's as she heard the order from Hawkins, her nose wrinkling as she made a huffing sound. It was shaking her confidence, having to look up at the other two like this, her brown eyes fixed upon Paula as she removed her gloves and brushed her hands over the material of the blue dress, "I'm not stupid, I know what that is, and I'm not wearing it", she said, once again slightly on her bare toes to try and appear taller, her cheeks having flushed a deep red, another thing they'd not be used to seeing with Claudia, her blushing.

As Christian and Eric crept along the disused side corridors, that used to be used for moving small pieces of gear and cargo while the main tunnels were mainly for the heavier equipment. Now most of the doors to the side corridors were blocked off or sealed to prevent their use by invaders and allow passage by the surviving colonists to sneak past alien patrols that were searching for them. Eric had informed him that the military unit seemed to have stopped within the old above ground colony that they had abandoned after the aliens attacked.


Shaking his head for a moment, hoping that this military guys didn't get spotted by any alien patrols before they met up, otherwise, the colonists would continue to be stuck there, not something any of them wanted. They had been stuck here for long enough. Picking up the pace along the corridor coming to the end and slowly opening the heavy door, looking left and right before waving Eric out to cross the corridor to the next corridor. They did it one at a time, to present small targets so they were less likely to get spotted.

As the heavy steel door closed behind them, Christian's hand would stray down to the small box on his belt, pressing a button that would send out the coded emergency transmission that he hoped would reach out further now they were closer to the surface. He also hoped the encryption and relay method would be enough to fool the aliens. If any of the marines were listening for transmissions, Christian's transmissions would not be picked up as any voice transmission or even morse code transmissions, but rather a series of beeps that would be repeated a regular interval and become louder with each interval.

Paula stepped close to Claudia, put one hand on her shoulder hard, and knelt enough to look into Claudia's brown eyes with her own deep electric blue eyes. Her expression is distinctly "I've had it up to here with you". "You do what I say, young lady. Put 'em up. Now."

Maybe it's the perspective, but maybe one of Paula's eyes is a bit lazy. But one got the impression that she wasn't about to accept any crap from a kid. Or maybe she's enjoying herself. It's impossible to tell.

Claudia's breath got a little heavier as Paula came closer, and the teenager visibly winced as her rival had to bend down to look into her eyes. A shiver went down her spine at the mocking way with which Paula referred to her as a young lady, and she found it impossible to break eye contact. For a moment, the bounty hunter just gazed at Paula while drawing quickly breaths, but then she slowly pulled the arm from across her chest, and stretched both of them above her head, "What did they do to you?", she asked, her voice coming out as a whisper. Paula felt different to her, but she didn't understand how.

The girl giggles, ducking behind Stryker as Chris points his SMG at her. She maintains her contact as he continues feeling sleepy.

Eventually Stryker falls to his knews and then to the ground. He didn't understand why or how, just that he was feeling so sleepy, he lost conciousness.

[Knight Errant]

Hawkins nods. "Right... I'm heading back to Operations. Follow me when you get this rogue in line..."

With that he turns and exits the room, picking up Razor and taking her with him. As he walks, he pauses for just a moment... before continuing.

Eric and Christian's run through the tunnels was nerve wracking to be sure. But luck was on their side. As for the message, without a reciever they couldnt tell if they had been picked up or not. The only way to tell for sure would be to find them...

As Stryker collapses and Chris advances with his knife, the little girl smiles... letting go of Stryker and running up the side of the alley wall... vanishing into the darkness.

[Haylie]

Paula sighs and nods without looking up. "Yessir."

With a curl to her lip, Paula replies to Claudia's question, "Nothing. Just a bit... shaken. That's all," as she quickly and skillfully slips the short dress over Claudia's head, and down to her legs, then adjusting it so it fit comfortably before walking back to the closet to look for a pair of shoes. She seems to be walking with a slight limp.

Claudia's nose wrinkled as Paula's hands brushed against her body while adjusting the dress. Something had her frustrated, like she couldn't figure something out. Her blue eyes glanced down at the way the tight dress hugged her smaller curves, and she gave the stretchy material a tug when she saw it didn't even reach half way down her thighs, "Couldn't he have atleast stolen the clothes from a girl the right size?", she muttered before giving up.

Watching Paula cross the room with the slightly limp, she frowned, staring at the other female for a long moment in confusion. For some reason, it bothered her that Paula was hurt, but she couldn't make sense of that feeling. Her hands clenched in anger at the unwanted sympathy that made her chest feel heavy. Stomping across the room, she brushed ahead of Paula, "I'll get them, you're hurt", she said, and bent forward, probably showing off her new underwear beneath the short, tight dress as she rumaged through the footwear, finding a pair of shin high black leather boots, and sliding her feet into them.

"No, I'm f-- AH!" As Claudia tried to brush past, Paula tried to stop her with her limp leg before giving a short yelp as Claudia pushed past. One hand instantly grabbed for a small red spot on her hip that was almost invisible, even against the white of her suit. She straightens immediately, brushes some hair behind her head, and clears her throat. "I'm fine." The lingering look of pain on her face says she isn't.

Straightening up, she turned suddenly at the yelp, her brown curls flicking around her. She met Paula's gaze and her eyes narrowed, looking down over the other female's figure until she saw the hand against her hip, and then goes pale, her eyes widening. For a moment, she seemed overcome with panic, before composing herself and trying to look angry again, "This doesn't mean I like you... I just need as many of you as alive and healthy as possible to help me undo this", she said.

Turning away, she hurried across the room, pausing at the door and glancing back. "Come on. That guy said there was a med lab. That's how he stopped the fever that... well... did this", she said, and with that, disappeared out of the door, running down the corridor to the med lab, grunting in frustration at the lack of weight on her chest as she ran. Barging the door open, she rushed into the lab and began to look around, knocking over several bottles and instruments, tugging open cabinet doors..

[Zoey]

Stryker is left asleep.

((*shrugs*))

[Haylie]

Paula snorts, re-equips her gauntlets, and follows Claudia out to the med lab.

There, she begins looking around as well, though unenthusiastically. "I doubt there'd be anything in here. A human lab probably wouldn't have a cure for your... condition."
