amalie sighs and heads for her room still looking for any other skaters

Skateboarding doesn't seem to be as important to Amalie anymore. One thing that does seem important is modeling.

[Sophia Anieri]

Paula finds herself watching the dancers for a while... Several times, she's tempted to join in, but always finds an excuse: "I don't know how," or "these clothes aren't really the best to dance." But the shy part of her is wavering... For now she smiles, watching the dancers and enjoying the music.

[Nikki]

The dance floor does seem to be calling out to Paula. How much longer can she resist?

Without even realizing Paula starts swaying a little to the music... and before long steps out onto the dance floor, moving with the rest. She hadn't decided to, just let her body step into the crowd without paying attention... The first thing she notices is that her clothes are so much easier to move in than she'd expected, once she gets going... and that it's so much easier to just move with the music's beat. And then she stops thinking, and notices only the music, and the dance.

Riley starts to think that maybe she should go to her dorm. The room that she share would be sharing with Amalie.

"So are we all ready to go?" Nikki asks.

Paula's mind is telling her two different things. She also sees a dance floor with music.

"So what do you think?"Clark asks Moira.

"Of what?" asked Moira. "It feels so strange really."

[Nikki]

Paula notices that she is starting to get a little hot. Perhaps she could take off her blouse. She does have a tank top under it afterall.

"The party." Clark says. "It looks kind of fun."

[Evra]

( aww skating so much fun though =P ) amalie shrugs and walks in the direction of her room to put her stuff down

Gary leads the four into the restaurant. It turns out that there is no wait and they are seated.

"What can I get you to drink" The waitor asks.

Amalie sees a blank room. It could use some decorating.

Moving with the beat, Paula has let her blouse off before she knows it. Girls tie them around their waists right? ...Whoops, she dropped it. Well it fell away at the edge of the floor anyway, she can find it afterwards... if she remembers to look. Before 30 seconds has passed though the fact that she'd ever had a blouse on has totally left Paula's mind. This is so fun! She starts really getting into the dance, not just moving automatically but putting her heart into the music. A distant part of her muses that she's dancing so naturally considering she never had before... and she finds herself giggling at the silly thought. Why is she getting so philosophical about this? Just dance.

Paula's dancing has seemed to attract a number of guys. They seem to really like it. Quite a few of them are cute.

[Sophia Anieri]

Paula grins at each of the guys in turn... She's even inspired to put on a bit of a show, hips wiggling, bouncing her breasts up and down... Another little voice in her wonders, Do I want to be so wild? Guys won't respect me as much if I'm too over-the-top... So she tones it down a little, swaying to the music with a flirty smile... eyes sparkling, wondering which of these guys is most taken with her.

"I'll have a diet cola, please." Eloise looks over the menu and tries to find what soup or salad she wants most while staying close to Larry.

Paula may begin to think that she should try to talking to them. Maybe she could get to know them better.

[Sophia Anieri]

Not a bad thought... so between songs, Paula walks over, hips wiggling, and chirps out an introduction. "I'm Paula! Here for rush -- this is so different from anything back home! You guys look fun, have you been to this sort of thing before?"
