Pokemon: The Hybrid Adventures, the rp (Complete)

[Gee-chan]

Tom stirred in his sleep. He had a dream where he was walking down a long, white path. He was himself again. As he walked down the road there was a girl lying in the road. As he approached her she looked up and began to shimmer then vanished in a ball of white light which flew further down the path. Tom ran to follow it but was stopped by a dark cloud forming in front of him. As he watched the cloud thickened in the middle until if became a gengar which looked at him with dark piercing eyes befor gliding into the distance. Tom ran once more until he found both the cloud and the ball of light together in front of him. Quickly the two fell into each other and then became a third figure which Tom could swear he recognised. The figure was a girl around his age only about a foot shrter than him. She had an attractive and graceful figure which curved in all the places Tom thought right. The girl's jet black hair reached all the way down her back and seemed to move slightly. Her skin was strange, a dark shade of purple and as she approached she seemed to shimmer and fade from time to time. Only about a meter away from him now Tom felt something tug on his am but when he looked there was nothing there. The girl stopped and looked at him with eyes the exact same colours as his. Something tugged his arm again harder this time and everything around him seemed to swirl. The girl herself also started to fade away and as he ran towards her his name echoed around him.

"Tom, wake up!" the echo called

Tom woke with a start.

"Tom! Finally your awake!"

Tom looked for the source of the voice but all he could see was his absol standing beside the bed with a relieved look in her eyes.

"Absol, your okay." said Tom

"Never mind about me being okay, what about you? You've been lying here for hours after I woke up." replied the absol.

At hearing her partner speak Tom almost fell out her bed in surprise.

"Woah! How did you say that?!" asked Tom in surprise.

"You understood that? I mean word for word?" said absol.

"Why can I understand you now?" wondered Tom, then he rembered, "Oh right, they said I'm half pokemon now. Well this sure brought the reality of it crashing down on me." he said bitterly. Wait how did you know that I'm me when I'm..this?"

"You know very well that I can sense subtleties around me. There is more to identify someone than their appearance you know. As different as you may be I can still sense that you're you. Besides," she said witha smirk, " no-one else is as herd to wake up as you."

"Yeah I suppose that's true" Tom said getting up. As she tried to take a few steps forwards she lost her balance and almost went crashing to the floor, "Well this is going to take some getting used to, my whole center of gravity is thrown off". She took another few steps, more slowly this time until she gain the confidence to go a bit faster.

"Come on absol" she said, "lets get out of here."

Tom quitely left the pokemon center through the back exit, took a couple of turns and wound up right in the middle of a confrontation between a couple in the uniform of team rocket and a group of teenagers.[/b][/i]

Joule sees a new pokemon girl with her pokemon about the time her friends took out Team Rocket and sent them blasting off again...."Hi there. Just finished off these Team Rocket jerks. I'm Joule Sparkman, and this is my Pikachu."

Sparky: "Pik-A...Pika-Chu!" <Pleased to meet you! You can call me Sparky...Joule has given me a cool name!>

"What's wron Team Rocket. Too scared of a bunch of Teenage girls to do anything. You will not take control of us! We will stop you! Torterra, Blastoise, Pikachu, and Typhlosion I choose you!" Erin said.

"WE ARE READY WHEN YOU ARE ERIN!" All the Pokemon said in unison.

"Why would we want to take control of you twerps?" Jessie and James asked puzzled.

"You are clueless aren't you. You will just have to find out yourself sooner or later." Erin said.

*The rest of the disguised Hybrids joined the front line with Erin.*

Joule glared at Jessie and James..."You guys are pathetic. Sure you may have a talking Meowth, and some Pokemon, like that Wobbafett, but we have something you don't; friendship, and now, we can understand our Pokemon better than you can."

*Erin notices the new girl.*

"Hey there how are you? My name is Erin Schatsiek. These are my Pokemon: Espeon she is my starter she evolved from an Eevee, Pikachu he was the first Pokemon that I caught. Charizard, I caught him as a Charmander, Blastoise, I caught her as a Squirtle, Torterra: I caught her as a Turtwig. Finally, this is Typhlosion, I caught him as a Cyndaquil. What's your name?" Erin asked the new girl.

"You with the Espeon what's your name?" Jessie said.

"My name is Erin Schatsiek." Erin said.

"Why are you with these freaks? You aren't anything like them." James said.

"Yes I am. Torterra use Plant Frenzy." Erin said.

"Right Erin! Plant Frenzy!" Torterra said.

"You aren't one of those Hybrids Twerp. You are just some snotty nosed Female Trainer." Meowth said.

"You know what I am sick and tired of you Team Rocket I am really angry. I will show you why I am with them!" Erin says.

*Erin presses the button on her watch revealing her true form. Her eyes then start to glow.*

"I am so totally tired of you saying I don't belong with them. I tried to compromise with you! Now you will Pay! Psybeam!" Erin said as the jewel on her forehead glowed just like her eyes. The Psybeam came out of the Red Jewel knocked Meowth back into Jessie and James.

"Sorry guys I didn't mean to blow our cover. I was just so totally angry! Did I just do a Psybeam?" Erin said as she calmed down and then asked.

(OOC: Sorry Shadowmaster. My character just got fed up with being jabbed at by Jessie and James. Can I still be part of this RP or did I break a rule? If I did, I'm sorry. Please forgive me.)

Tom stepped forwards out from the shadows she had hidden herself in. As she was covered in sunlight she flinched, the bright light on her dark skin uncomfortable due to her ghost attributes.

"Um...Hi..I'm..I was Tom. Recently though its been sort of confusing. This is Absol, my closest friend". She gestured to the absol beside her as the pokemon gave a slight nod.

She turned to the espeon girl who until a few seconds ago had appeared to be a normal pokemon trainer.

"You..You were normal, but then you changed. How did you do that? Does that mean there is some way for me to become...me again?" Tom asked both nervously and eigerly.

"I think Professor Palm can help you out. All of us have these cool watches that make us appear human. It makes you appear to be human, but you will still be Female. We can't get back our original Genders right now. You will appear to be human, but you will be a female human. I wasn't always female. I used to be a Male Pokemon Trainer by the name of Aaron A-a-r-o-n Schatsiek. I changed in front of Nurse Joy. Much like everyone else did. I am 19 years old. I am from Pallet Town." Erin said.

*She then glances at Jessie, James and Meowth on the ground thanks to her attack.*

"Team Rocket you are so totally out of line! You will pay!" Erin said.

"You and what Army will make us pay?" Jessie asked.

"You see my friends back there? They are going to help me make you pay." Erin asked then said.

(OOC: Whatever I say the characters do, they are just suggestions you don't have to abide by them if you don't want to. I can't control your characters.)

[Gee-chan]

"Wait, defeating team rocket won't get rid of them. They're like many thieves they hold a grudge." said Tom, her street knowledge gained from years as a theif rebuilding her confidence. She stepped forwards and stood in front of team rocket who were still in a pile on the floor. "Team Rocket, your orgnisation is not welcome here. Leave now before you attract any more attention or you will suffer the concequences."

"Who do you think your talking to you little brat?!" yelled Jessie

Tom held her hand forwards. "If i'm a gengar type then I should be able to.." she said to herself. As the words came into her mind her hand tingled and her eyes started to glow green. "Night shade" she said, her voice a cold echo as a small bolt of blue energy leaped forwards toward the disorganised forms of team rocket, landing in the middle of them and bursting in a wave of mental pain.

"Leave now, for your own sake." she commanded.

Team rocket got to their feet and started to run. "You havn't seen the last of us, brat" yelled Jessie as the group hurried away. After a few seconds the glow left Tom's eyes and she was struck by a wave of dizzyness which although shortlived, made her stumble a bit before she managed to regain her composure.

Tom turned round seeing the faces of the others. "I've had a run in with team rocket before" she explained, "generally if you show enough authority to them they tend to leave you alone after that."

"I ran into to Team Rocket a lot too in my journeys from Kanto to Sinnoh and back again. Why didn't I think of that! Good work Tom! Guys why don't we get back to the safe house. If you want to. We need to go back there and think of a plan. I all of a sudden feel a new Power. Everyone return." Erin said recalling all of her Pokemon. Espeon was still outside her Pokeball. She doesn't like being in it very often. She just walks by Erin's side.

*Erin's eyes glowed and aword came to her mouth.*

"Teleportation." Erin said as she teleported everyone back to the safehouse.

(OOC: As I said before you don't have to have your characters do what I suggest if you don't want to. I can't control your characters.)

[Gee-chan]

Tom felt weird as Erin's teleport took her to the safehouse mentioned. As everything stopped swirling she quickly moved up to erin and tried to support her as the effect of using psychic powers took it's tole on her. However as she put a hand on Erin's shoulder she found herself falling again as she passed through the dazed espeon girl.

"Woah!" she yelled as she stumbled forwards. "I still can't get the hang of this body" She said sadly. straigtening herself up she turned around and found herself looking into Erin's startled eyes. Looking down she saw the problem, her arm was sticking through Erin's chest in a manner that was unusual to say the least. Quickly taking a step back she managed to say "Sorry about that, apparantly I'm a gengar cross so i'm still having problems maintining corporialty"

*Erin felt a little woozy from using her teleport. She also felt something sticking through her chest and touching it.*

"Don't worry about it Tom. I am still not completely use to my new body either. I won't hurt you. I feel a little woozy. Oh boy." Erin said as she wobbled.

*She knew she was going to fall so she looked at her waist to make sure her head didn't hit the floor.*

"I think I will so take a nap now. Good Night." Erin said as she fainted.

[Gee-chan]

As Erin fainted on the floor the other girls in the room rushed to her aid.

"She'll be fine. Although she will have quite a headache when she comes too. I had the same thing first time I uses my powers. The pain in my ead was so bad before I passed out I'm sure it almost killed me. As it was I woke up in the pokemon center having been unconscious for three days." said Tom, bending over the fallen girl, "Here, I'll try to help carry her to a bed"

After a few minutes they had managed to get Erin to a bed (Tom only phased through her a couple of times but seemed to be getting conrol of her ghost attributes. After setting Erin down Tom turned to the rest of the girls. "Ok, Erin said something about a Professor palm who could help me in some way. Where can I find him?"

OOC: Well i'm off to bed now, feel free to help my character along overnight if you feel it is essencial.

(OOC: I won't control your character. I don't like to do that. The character will just still be there and receive the Holographic watch from Professor Palm. Good Night Gits.)

*Erin sent a Telepathic Message to Professor Palm while she was sleeping.*

"Professor Palm, Tom is here in the safe house with the rest of us she is waiting for you to help her out with a Holographic Watch like you gave the rest of us. I am in bed right now because I learned how to use some of my attacks. It was a bit of a strain on me. Tom is waiting for you Professor. Good Night." Erin thought telepathically.

[Guest]

Tom sat in a dark corner away from the others. Ever since her transformation she had seemed to have an affinity with dark places, they seemed to make her feel comfortable for some reason, her ghost attributes she guessed.

"So what are we going to do now?" asked her absol who was sat next to her, "I personally feel no harmful intentions from these people but I am unsure whether we will fit in."

"I know what you mean," replied Tom, "All of them seem to have gone through what I have, albeit not in such desperate circumstances. I don't think any harm could come from staying with them for a while, until we can get some more information about what happened."

"I agree," nodded absol, "We should stay here to wait for this Professor Palm to arrive, how long that will be, however I cannot say"

"Not as long as you would think"

Both Tom and Absol looked up to see a tall man with yellow tanned skin and a very long black mustache. "So you are Tom then" He said.

"Yes, how did you know?" asked Tom

"Let's just say I have may sources" the man replied, "Anyway enough of that, I am Professor Palm"

"The one who's supposed to be able to help me?" asked Tom

"Yes, having been with this group I'm sure you've seen the watches they all wear." said Palm

"You mean the one that Erin used to turn into an espeon hybrid?"

"Well the watch actually creates a holographic image of what your human form would probably look like, disabling it will drop the image and show your true form. It may not be the cure you were hoping for but at least it will let you go out in public. Now from your hiding in the shadows I'm guessing your either a dark or ghost type."

"Ghost. I pretty sure I'm a gengar. Why, is that a problem?"

"Unfortunately, yes it is. If you were a dark type then it wouldn't, but due to being a ghost type staying in bright light for long periods of time weakens you. Due to this you will need the special model of the watch. I is designed to create a shade to shield you from the light while it is active. The watches also provide you with a means of communication with the others, while this is unneeded between you me and Erin, the others do not have access to telepathy like we do so you will have to use it for them."

Tom took the watch and pressed a button on the side and an image of her new form but with pale skin and dark brown hair replaced her ghostly appearance, as the hologram activated he felt the shade cover her in soothing darkness. "Wow, this feels great." said Tom happily. In the other room he heard Erin stir in her sleep. "I'm going to go check on Erin," she said."Thank you for your help."

"Your welcome" replied Professor Palm who promptly vanished.

Tom went to Erin's room shaking her head and muttering about what a weird day this had been. As he entered he saw that Erin was awake and holding her head groaning.
