By the way, Neil is still on Jean's head.

Jeanette rolled her eyes upwards. "Neil," she said in a voice tinged with weariness at the repetition, "could you please get down? You're throwing my balance off...." She strongly suspected she might fall over during a scan if the cat didn't remove himself soon. And that would be highly undignified. She beckoned to Sarah, hand shaking just a little. "You next. Stand on the line, please? Wh-what's your name?" She carefully started resetting the buttons on the scanner.

Mike sighed...here he was...in a jar. He might as well have been dead already. Randomly, he pulled out his trusted d20 from his pocket...he wasn't ever without it. It had won him tournaments, slaughtered foes, and gotten him that sweet diplomacy roll with that elven princess...if anything else, this is what kept him sane right now. He sat on the floor and started spinning, rolling, and lightly throwing it around...out of the ten or so rolls, four of them were 1's. "That can't be good..."

Riley begins to wash away again, exhausted from the escape attempt that went nowhere. The waves of happiness seem to intensify at the catsuited catgirl's question. "Master... makes me so happy! I dont know what I had been thinking! He is wonderful!" She looks into room six, then back to the catgirl. "Thank you for helping... I hope I didnt make them angry at me... Can I ask your name before I go? Mine is... Rachel." She didnt know where the name came from... but somehow she knew it was hers.

Jeanette's smile took on a faintly sickly tinge. "That's... nice...." This was the one who had adapted so quickly and readily. "What's your name, then?...." She adjusted the settings on the scanner one more time, and, after irritatedly pushing Neil back some to keep him from sliding forward and pulling her head down with him, she began the scan. Slow and steady. Yes....

"Sara? Very... very pretty...." The scanner went off with a beep. The small light at the end turned yellow. "Huh. Our first 'Chef' of the day...." She adjusted the scanner in her hands. "And my name is Jeanette. Some people call me Jean for short." She then pushed Neil back up her head. Really wishing he'd get down....

Jeanette's smile grew shakier. This was the last thing she needed. Too many problems with the assignments, and who knew what the boss would do?
