as the scorpion clips reins arm he winces in pain and jumps running over to the raiders belt grabbing the fragmine as starts to arm itwhile running hoping to get enough distance to plant the mine while the scorpions get around the cars mumbling about why it had to be scorpions that got supercharged and not chickens or something ( ;3 )

"I think I may have heard about them, yeah. I don't know much about it, though."

The soldier carrying Blake finally throws him into the pit, causing to him to knock over several people on the crowded bottom as he slid down.

"Alright, alright. Just hold still."

Doc Church pulls two Stimpaks from a drawer and begins injecting them into Elijah's arm. The pain subsides almost immediately, and the proper color returns to the hole. The second one seals the hole. Church starts cleaning the blood from around where the wound was.

"There."

Blood starts flowing from Rein's wounded arm, and the pain makes it somewhat difficult to activate the mine. Fortunately, the Radscorpions seem to be trying to crawl over the cars, rather than trying to go around them, slowing them down.

rein ducks down behind a rock as he winces as he uses all his strength to toss the activated mine like a frisbee towards the cars hoping it will either activate at landing and blow the cars up and the scorpions along with it or it will land where the scorpions will activate it when getting over the cars as he waits rein pulls out his rifle for a last resort as he reaches for a stimpack to inject at the wound reaching into his bag

[Knight Errant]

"You bastaaaarrrrddds..."

Comes his long reply as he falls down the hole... to plow into a bunch of people at the bottom.

"Ow..." He struggles to get up. "Anyone here know what the hell is going on?"

[Blaze]

"Doesn't matter. You wouldn't happen to know anyone who needs something delivered somewhere would you?" Felix asked, biting into another Iguana on a Stick.

"Thanks, doc. How much do I owe ya?" Visibly relieved, Elijah doesn't sound quite as testy as before.

The pain fades as a ringing appears in Rein's ears when the mine is set off by one of the Radscorpions, causing a chain-reaction of sorts on the surrounding cars. One is almost immediately torn to pieces while the other is shot skyward and lands on its back a short distance away, struggles for a second, and then bleeds out and dies.

After the two he knocked over get back up and brush themselves off, one reaches down to help Blake up. He's got short-cropped brown hair and a pale, somewhat freaked-out face. He doesn't appear much older than Blake.
"You okay, man?"

Jenny gets into a classic "thinking pose" and says, "Hmmm... Can't think of anyone off the top of my head... but Andy might need someone to help deliver that Yao Guai meat Max just brought in. Max is the charming guy that just went inside. He could probably use your help."

At that moment, the man in question exits the Brass Lantern with a rucksack and satisfied expression on his face.

Church seems to think about that. "Huh. Simple enough fix. I'd say 25 caps."

Rico flips through a few pages of the guide before tossing it into his sack.

"Eh, it's got a bunch of tips I already know, but it's decent enough.... How the hell did you learn about some of this stuff, though? Radiation poisoning? Mole repellent? Man, who'd be crazy enough to test this crap out in real life?.... Besides you, I mean."

"Right. Thanks Jenny." Felix said, finishing his last iguana and heading inside the Brass Lantern, giving Max a nod on his way.

rein winces covering his ears as chucks of metal land around the area as he stands up staggering until his ears stop ringing before gathering up his stuff and getting the heck out of there before the sounds draw anything elses attention running off in the direction of megaton

Blake grabs his hand, getting up. He has a ticked off expression. "I'm fine... but those tin cans wont be when I have a chance to pay them back for this..."

He scowls... then turns on his pip boy light to better illuminate his predicament.

Elijah hands over the caps. "Anybody interesting pass by through here recently?"

Moira didn't seem to mind. "Oh! Well, I'm sure you've heard about the Lone Wanderer from Galaxy News Radio? That's the one!" She suddenly had a very dreamy look on her face.

Max seemed to give Felix a look of, "Are you looking at me?" but says nothing as he heads for Megaton's giant gate.

Megaton stands just as it had last time a traveler was there, stark against the otherwise deserted area, with a Protectron uttering random greetings. The gates open slowly, and Rein might see two men near the Brass Lantern.

The problem is easy enough to work out: The area is crowded with scared and/or pissed off people either wandering around, trying to think of a way out, or sitting there cursing their luck. The man that helped Blake up speaks again.
"So, uh... what's your name?"

Doc Church had gone back to his book. "Not really. The usual folks. Jericho popped in for a cut on his temple, and the Sherriff's arthritis was kickin' up again."

rein walks in past the robot mumbling going to have to fix his now bloodied jacket as he walks down the hill before turning onto the walkway heading to the general store to sell some of the stuff taken from the raiders his boots clanking on the metal walk way while he before he walks into morias craterside supply
