The red, red rose in the soldier's hands vibrates with energy, and he finds he can't let go of it. What little armor he has left falls of completely, and he recognizes the princess as his master, both old and new.

Tim finds, once she is free of the rose, that she can think violent thoughts and act violent acts again. She also doesn't feel so possessive towards the knight. Yet, she still feels a lingering aversion to violence towards him. She still feels a small twinge of anger and jealousy that these two tried to attack him.

The knight turns to Grunwalde and squints. "I hate assassins. Oh, and dear? What do you think of my gift?" He tosses both of his swords towards the assassin and rolls to grab his helmet.

The knight would find himself tumbling to the floor... the needle placed at the top of his spinal chord paralyzing everything from the neck down. He can even feel his heart and lungs pause for a moment as all signals to his body are cut off. As the poison leaves his system feeling returns with pins and needles washing through his skin. A few more seconds and he wouldn't have even been able to speak to cast his spell... and a few more from that his life would have ebbed away completely.

Grunwalde silently curses at his initial attack failing. As the knight recovers and hurls his swords he climbs up into the rafters... melting into the shadows cast by the black tallow candles as he moves to get into a new position for a second strike.

"What is going on?" said the man as he tries to drop the rose but finds that he isn't able to do so. He at once tries to picks up his armor and tries to strap it on as it was falling off his body.

If the soldier's hair wasn't already blond, it is now. His tunic stretches down below his beltline, and just in time to preserve his dignity as his pants dissolve and reform into a large white bow on his back.

Still recovering from the effects of the poison, the knight's swords don't even come close to Grunwalde and embed themselves in the rafters a ways from him. The knight puts on his helmet and scans for the assassin.

The knight looked at his former black hair and could see it was different. He was still trying to let go of the rose and saw that his tunic was now longer. "Why won't it let go? Damn witch! I mean mistress!"

The man was conflicted since he was realizing that this person he called witch was once his master and still is.

The flickering shadows are loathe to reveal the assassin... but a faint *click* gives away his location if the knight is watchful. He seems to have just cocked a crossbow... and is aiming down the sights at him.

*Thunk!*

The black-tipped bolt whistles through the air, aimed at his heart!

The knight is watchful, and soon after the *click* he yanks his hands towards himself. The two swords fly through the air back to him with a *wumwum* sound, intercepting the bolt in mid-air and sending the two pieces into harmless trajectories. "Rrr, you hate it, don't you? I hoped you'd like it... you were rather fond of armor."

The soldier's hands go pale and shrink around the flower, leaving them soft, small, and frail. The paleness creeps up his bare arms, dissolving the hair as it goes. Everything around him shoots upward, until he has to look up slightly at his new mistress.

"EH? What witchcraft is this? Mistress?" said the man as he seem surprise by what he said. He looked around and down at his hands as the paleness was creeping up his arm and to the rest of his body. It felt like some sort of disease was going though his body as his height was changing.

"It's kind of... feminine..."

Grunwalde narrows his eyes. This one was tricky. It was time to switch up tactics again. He reaches to a vial on his armor... slitting the straps holding it down with a dagger and tossing it down below!

The glass is fragile... and would break on impact, releasing a cloud of black, acidic smoke.

The soldier's blond hair gets shaggy and loose, and his tunic puffs out at the shoulders while opening wide to reveal a pale and smooth chest. It's entirely black, much like his socks which are very tight and moving up his increasingly shapely legs. His boots are little more than white indoor shoes.

"Ah, but you don't, do you? I've piqued your curiosity, and pricked your heart, I hope." The knight tosses one sword into a random spot in the rafters, near to Grunwalde but still not too close. "I hate to state the obvious, but your armor is feminine because you are. A standard plate would be a very uncomfortable fit for you."

The knight swipes at the glass vial with his sword, smashing it in mid-air.

"What is going on? Answer me! Anybody! Master!" said the man as he was watching what was happening and saw that all his chest hair was gone. He tries to feel his chest to see if this was some sort of illusion cause by the flower.

Grunwalde melts into the shadows again... it was time to close the deal. The knight can hear another *click* as the vial explodes into black smoke which quickly moves to roll over him... inhaling it would burn the lungs to near uselessness in moments. Merely standing in it would burn the skin and begin seeping toxins into the body.

The soldier feels his chest, all right. He feels it push against his hand as two lumps of velvety softness grow beneath his touch. Making matters worse is the shrinking feeling he has between his legs as his hips and butt spread outward.

"...Shield..." The knight's form glows white, and he steps forward into the smoke. It envelops him, but goes no further than the outermost edge of the white glow. He tosses his other sword towards the general location the vial had come from as he calls the one currently in the rafters.
