Renarl's Tower

[Meru]

"Wow... Pretty nice place... Ah, I need to focus... Um... Mr. Wizard? Do you have a spare elemental core I can borrow? The fisherman needs it to repair his boat. Because I want to look into the flying lobster problem." Leon explains, for the third time.

[Mitera Nikkou]

Stud blinked, turning her attention to the boy that had just entered. Had he just mentioned something about flying lobsters? Maybe she had misheard him... What were the chances of two people coming to the same person around the same time, but for different reasons involving the same thing? She looked the boy over, noting his most striking features: his blue hair and red eyes. Otherwise, from what she could tell, he seemed to be a pretty average human. She wondered about the stuff on his back, but she was more interested in the flying lobsters.

"Did he just mention something about flying lobsters?" She asked Renarl, though still looking at the boy.

[Empusa Sesshi]

Renarl blinks and nods. "It seems he did, what good fortune." He looks back at Leon. "I know of the fisherman lad, I'll have a core prepared for you in a few moments."

[Meru]

"You're interested in the flying lobsters too? That's good! You know what they say, two heads are better than one." Leon remarks. "And thank you, wizard."
Leon bows, somewhat awkwardly.

[Mitera Nikkou]

She regarded the boy for a moment, considering what he had said. Was he inviting her to come along? "Wait..." She began, looking somewhat dubious. "Are you inviting me to come along with you?"

Why would he? They'd just met!

[Meru]

"Yeah. My mother used to tell me that people eet for a reason. And I met you because I needed an elemental core for the boat. So I'm just guessing that perhaps the boat broke down so that I would meet you here!" He explains.

[Mitera Nikkou]

"I see..." She replied, giving the boy an odd look.

Of course, when she thought about it, it would be rather convenient for her own needs if she were to join the boy. Well, she figured that the quicker she got herself back to normal, the better; and, so, she decided to accept his offer, hiding the jubilee in the back of her thoughts (which was aroused by her good fortune).

"Well, alright, then. If you don't mind, I'll come along with you."

So saying, she stood up and waited for the time of departure.

[Empusa Sesshi]

Renarl rummages about in his robes for a few moments, digs in some pockets...some belt pouches, checks in some drawers and under a stack of books...before tapping out a boot and a small round orb rolls out, shimmering sea blue in color. "Aha! Here we are lad, careful now." He hands it over to Leon.

[Meru]

Leon carefully takes it, and then places it in his backpack, next to the bags of bones.
"Thanks! So, I'll be going now. With this lady... What was your name?" Leon asks the lady.

[Mitera Nikkou]

"Oh, um..." She began, caught off-guard by his abruptness. "I'm Stud."

Of course, thoughts about using another name didn't occur to her. Hopefully she'd be herself again, soon!

(Meru: when your character leaves, she'll be bound to follow. So you don't have to wait for me to post that. Just so you know, and save us time. :3)

[Meru]

"Alright! Nice to meet you Stud. We'll soon be able to figure out the mystery of the Flying Lobsters!" Leon exclaims, heading back to the tavern to deliver the elemental core.

[Mitera Nikkou]

Stud quickly followed, not even sparing Renarl any gratitude. She didn't know where Meru was heading, but she figured that she'd find flying lobsters so long as she kept with him. She did wonder why he would be interested in flying lobsters, though (and whether or not they conflicted with her own need to get one).
