Simplified overview - DnD world gets invaded by a N1 Overlord, N1 overlord curb stomps the locals and mutates the rules of the DnD world. Said overlord then leaves/disappears. Minor N1 Demon Lords then appear and conquer the remains of the torn lands. Your a local that got curb stomped and is currently enslaved to a Minor Demon Lord. If the curb stomping was fatal then you've revived as a Prinny employeed by the demon lord.

side note i know the site has been down for a few days but it would be preferred if you have your characters done within a day or 2 as i'll probably be wrapping up the current scenerio in 2-3 more of my large posts. The transition between scenerio's will allow me to work your characters in.

Biography – Caine was born in a wealthy family, but a fire in his house caused his parents allot and most important their lives. Caine was left an orphan at a young age and apperantly his family had alot of enemies, so he was left in an oprhanage, until he grew of age and started living on the streets. Their he found his unique synergy with hand weapons and became famous for stealing. Eventually he ended up as a lone mercenary exhanging his skill for a quick buck. His skills with the gun are only match by his love to gamble. When he's not on a job, You'll probably find him in a bar , exchaging stories or just flirting with the ladies all while he's drunk.

hmm i think your incorrectly interpreting the starting situation, the story starts 10 years after the locals already lost the war to the D1 invaders (the summary above is mostly what has happened in the past of the world).
If your a native then you've either been enslaved or killed (and come back as a prinny) or in hiding. So if you were a human Mercenary in the war, chances are unless you ran, you died or were captured. There are no known free cities, every area of the world is controlled by some form of a D1 creature be it demon/dragon/fallen angel/etc...

For the sake of a uniform start, the starting situation is summarized by, at some point your character/s were enslaved by the demon lord Moe who is the ruler of the area of the former human kingdom Besek. In general Mezin's (the natives) are treated like prinnies (abused) except unlike prinnies you don't get paid, and in terms of ranking Mezin's (natives) are the slave caste, your actually ranked lower then prinnies in the work hierarchy.

so in short just put in what happened to him during the war, and how he was enslaved...

Biography: Just a simple musician trying to live life to the fullest, though he managed to avoid getting involved in the war until some of H's forces found him though he gave them a story about just being a harmless bard, they didn't belive him, and tried to sing his way out of a situation, though the enimies hated his voice, and he tried to fight them really afterwards, and the obvious enslavement route came after being beaten.

Hira Kanaki - it's rather basic but workable, but you might want to age him a bit as the war occurred 10 years ago which would make him 13 at the time. If anything put a reason on how he avoided the war, as it was a full world scale one so rather hard to avoid unless he was hiding as mentioned.

Kaizer - good, though just note what he was doing during the war and how he got captured during or after the war.

general plot set up goes... stuff happened in arc one. Since your a local Mezin your still a slave status wise as such unless you were at the event (which you weren't) your character wouldn't know anything except rumors...

In general you don't really need to know what happened in arc one cause your characters also ignorant of the events. So everything will be told on a need to know basis.

Biography – Shunned for all his life for his fiendish looks, Lex was nonetheless quite a lucky guy, always stumbling across what he needed to get by. He became adept at exploiting his good fortune to get even more out of it and be able to live comfortably as a drifter, sleeping in decent inns and enjoying himself. He had a decent gift for sorcery, and he practiced that as he traveled, using it to get by when he needed to, and just enjoying having it otherwise. When the war came, he did his damn best to hide, knowing he was overmatched and that people would associate him with the demonic invaders in any case. He managed to survive with the help of lots of luck and has gone back to his wandering ways, as best as he can, at any rate.
