As the dust finally settles down, the young man gets a view of the deteriorated state of the room he's in. There's some rotting and broken down furniture. Some moldy clothing adorns one of the shelves in the closet.

A soft clang, then a louder one echo throughout the corridors of the castle. The growling fades away... but almost immediately the silence is broken by an eardrum shattering roar of bestial fury! Specks of dust and debris come loose from the ceiling, showering each of the brave explorers...

The room is devoid of any windows. The atmosphere is certainly authentic, but that's still no proof, of course. Still, the room offers no additional information.
Kaizer wrote:Jace covers his ears trying to protect his hearing from the loud roar. "Shit, the thing must inside or something!" he exclaimed. They were really in a pickle. There's only two ways to run, go back or keep running forward and to make things worse the visability is almost zero. "Quickly! Go back or keep going forward!"

As Mike sits cautiously down on the bed the piece of furniture lets out an ominous creak... but holds, if barely. As soon as his derrière has settled on the surprisingly soft mattrass a sense of comfort settles over him. This is a place where he can rest for a moment and get his bearings straight.

The door does indeed crack open... by coming loose at the hinges and toppling over with a piercing creak. The boy manages to jump out of the way, but can't hold the heavy oak door as it smacks onto the stone floor. The noise echoes throughout the whole castle...

( Actually, only two other people are near one another now, and only because I was too late to mention everyone starts seperately. No harm, no faul, so don't worry about it. )
The room is depressingly empty. Remains of a heap of straw litter the floor. Some unseen creature skitters past, causing a soft rustling. Ramming the door serves only to show how sturdy it is, despite being ages old. The only thing that might offer a chance of escape is a small, barred window at eyelevel.

In the throne room... Gina stumbles straight through the throne and smacks hard down onto the floor. A mirage? Looking around, the decadent throne room fades away, revealing a cold, stone room, much like a cellar. The heavy wooden door creaks, slamming shut behind her with a loud bang that reverberates through the room.
( Hint: don't go making up rooms of your own. You might give me ideas... )

Yep, it's just the growling of some giant dragon somewhere. Nothing to worry about. There's still a castle to explore in the meantime. He try looking at some paintings, maybe? Underneath the dust could be a valuable work of art!

Reyes finds... a storage room! Big, wooden storage racks fill the room in neat lines. The smell of rotten food has long since faded, but some dusty mushrooms have apparently managed to live off the remains of some dead rat. There are quite a few wooden barrels around, all closed.
~James~
Assuming that James' 'voice' is the low rumbling, he heads further down the corridor. The growling gradually gets louder as the corridor widens and the interval between the doors becomes longer.
~James + Jace~
As the pair continues down the corridor in search of stairs they find themselves disappointed. The light fades slowly, enshrouding them in increasingly deep darkness...
