Jace covers his ears trying to protect his hearing from the loud roar. "Shit, the thing must inside or something!" he exclaimed. They were really in a pickle. There's only two ways to run, go back or keep running forward and to make things worse the visability is almost zero. "Quickly! Go back or keep going forward!"
"Let me confirm, your shelter shield is activated?"
"What are you planning?!"
"Your shelter is secure, is it?"
"Of course it is! Just see for yourself how powerless you are!"
"...Roger that."

"That was pretty cool..." John said in response to the roaring "deafing but cool... “He then looked around the room for a window or such to see if he could get a view of the outdoor area so he could figure out if it was just props or if they actually brought him to an abandoned castle in the middle of Europe.

( Actually, only two other people are near one another now, and only because I was too late to mention everyone starts seperately. No harm, no foul, so don't worry about it. )

The room is depressingly empty. Remains of a heap of straw litter the floor. Some unseen creature skitters past, causing a soft rustling. Ramming the door serves only to show how sturdy it is, despite being ages old. The only thing that might offer a chance of escape is a small, barred window at eyelevel.

~Angela~

"Ello~ ello- llo~" the echoe returns her voice. There is no-one in sight, not counting the faces of the dust-covered portraits. Exploration time!

~John~

The room is devoid of any windows. The atmosphere is certainly authentic, but that's still no prood, of course. Still, the room offers no additional information.

~Reyes~

The next room reveals... another storage room? This one is filled with barrels stacked on top of one another, creating huge walls of the things that one can barely squeeze through. However, at the far end... is that a door?

Angela wasn't particularly afraid of the dark, and she'd had a few drinks too, which gave her a bit more confidence. Reaching into her purse, she pulled out a phone, and pushed a few buttons, "And they said I'd never use a flashlight application... ", she muttered just a moment before a bright white light filled the entire screen on the phone, working like a flashlight. She shone it ahead of herself, glancing up at the paintings and then walked down the corridor, moving up some stairs and looking around, trying the handle of the first door she came across...

Lacking windows John could only ponder at where the light source was coming from... either way he goes over to pick up a leg of broken furniture and then proceeds to the cabinet to see if any of the moldy clothes could at least be used for rags of a make shift torch. After all fire is man's or at least his best friend.

Jason had covered his ears, as well. Noticing the darkness the two were heading toward, Jason suddenly yells. "Back, back! It's probably further in!" He then backpedals a bit before turning around and almost darting back.

As Mike sits cautiously down on the bed the piece of furniture lets out an ominous creak... but holds, if barely. As soon as his derrière has settled on the surprisingly soft mattrass a sense of comfort settles over him. This is a place where he can rest for a moment and get his bearings straight.
.

"Oh," said Mike as he hears the bed make a strange sound. He looked down at it and give the mattress a squeeze. He moves a bit to make sure it would hold then sighed.

"Ok. I stay here for a bit and see what I can do." said Mike as he lean back to lay on the bed. "Maybe once I relax a bit I can think straight. Yeah."

The door does indeed crack open... by coming loose at the hinges and toppling over with a piercing creak. The boy manages to jump out of the way, but can't hold the heavy oak door as it smacks onto the stone floor. The noise echoes throughout the whole castle...

"Damn it--!"

Nearly dropping his suitcase, the man retreats back from the fallen door quickly, his knuckles white with stress, he starts to try and calm himself down...when he hears a massive ROAR! Staggering back, he turns to return the way he came! The outside was inhospitable--but this...this sounded deadly!

Jace nods and runs back. He just hopes he doesn't run into the monster thing

"I don't even want to know what that was." Gina mumbled upon hearing the rustling of some creature that was running around the room. Upon noticing the barred window, she makes her way over to it and grabs onto the bars to try and give a pull. "HURRP!" She shouted as she attempted to use all her strength.

"Typical..."Jim shakes his head and stuff his phone into his suit pocket. Standing still for a moment he ponders what to do, though his train of thought is soon interrupted by the animal howl. Leading him to nervously turn to the gate and slowly enter.

Simon damn near jumped out of his skin when the roar rang through the castle. "What the f*** was that?!" he yelled? Ignoring the goosebumps the terrifying roar gave him, he examined the ruined living room. "Damn, this place turned into a pile of crap." He goes over to the fireplace and tries to remove the painting hanging over it, hoping that it was a painting of whoever owned this place.

In the throne room... Gina stumbles straight through the throne and smacks hard down onto the floor. A mirage? Looking around, the decadent throne room fades away, revealing a cold, stone room, much like a cellar. The heavy wooden door creaks, slamming shut behind her with a loud bang that reverberates through the room.

( Hint: don't go making up rooms of your own. You might give me ideas... )

~Geoff~

Yep, it's just the growling of some giant dragon somewhere. Nothing to worry about. There's still a castle to explore in the meantime. He try looking at some paintings, maybe? Underneath the dust could be a valuable work of art!

~John~

As the dust finally settles down, the young man gets a view of the detoriorated state of the room he's in. There's some rotting and broken down furniture. Some moldy clothing adorns one of the shelves in the closet.

~Reyes~

Reyes finds... a storage room! Big, wooden storage racks fill the room in neat lines. The smell of rotten food has long since faded, but some dusty mushrooms have apparently managed to live off the remains of some dead rat. There are quite a few wooden barrels around, all closed.

~James~

Assuming that James' 'voice' is the low rumbling, he heads further down the corridor. The growling gradually gets louder as the corridor widens and the interval between the doors becomes longer.

~James + Jace~

As the pair continues down the corridor in search of stairs they find themselves disappointed. The light fades slowly, enshrouding them in increasingly deep darkness...

~All characters~

(Hold on there is more than one James in here or am I the only one. You are confusing me a bit Loid.)

"Okay, so why aren't there as many doors as there were?" James asks to himself as he continues down.

(Also I don't remember running into Jace unless I missed encountering him.)
