Neko raises a finger. "No need. They'll use the EMP pulse to disable the nanites on the catgirls scattered throughout the city, then trigger a minor rebellion. With the EMP pulse knocking out the power, chaos will reign, people go all bite-crazy, 28 Days Later style epidemic. Plus, if they're using the military base + power plant, then it'll be even harder to restore power, since one of the more efficient plants in the area will have it's main fuel source removed. If I helped them, it would be nigh unstoppable, but as it is, it'll be at least difficult."

[Mistress Guendolen]

"At least difficult?... Good to know the odds are in our favor, then." Again, that rarely seen note of sarcasm surfaced. This had been a very weird and very busy day, after all.... "Any particular reason why they want to catgirlify the whole city? Besides a whim, that is."

[Xiao]

"I see..." Xiao said in response, he had stopped his flight and was currently hovering about seven feet from the ground, So far, what they have thought about mages being over trusted seems to be holding true he thought as he decended, "I am not sure how I can help, from the sounds of it you don't want them harmed and I am not too good with computers..."

Neko answers Guen's question first, in a quiet tone. "They want everybody, to be like a family."

She turns to Xiao, still in that quiet tone. "No. You can harm the Neko-Jin. What they're going to do, and the way they're going to do it, is wrong. I learned that. So, we'll stand against them, and fight them with all our might. We'll head to the base, and wait until they attack, and then stop them before they get the materials. If that fails, we'll follow them to the blimp, and get them there. And then me and Tetsuo-chan will go on a vacation to the Bahamas!"

[Mistress Guendolen]

"Like a family? But- families don't consist of just one sort of person! And don't they realize that not everyone will be happy as a catgirl? I mean, I think I can safely say that Genno over there would not be at all happy in that state! And I certainly wouldn't like that change either, that's for sure. So there's at least two people who would be unhappy with their not-so-little 'family.' I guess the intentions are at their base well-meaning, as everyone wants fellowship, but the method- it's wrong. So very wrong...."

[Xiao]

"I will help as I can," Xiao said in response after contemplating what Neko had said, "Though this plan doesn't sound too planned, there are ways to reverse even a transformation epidemic like they are attempting, it is ungodly hard, takes many people and the paperwork is a pain, though it is possible."

Neko nods. "Which is why we need to come up with a plan. And, the problem with ungodly hard methods is that they might not be possible, once the whole 'empathic bond' and hugs thing hits in. Being a catgirl is pretty fun. Plus, this is one of those DNA-altering virus thingies, and it deletes the original DNA. Or, uh, something like that. I don't really remember the conversations very well. And, I would point out that these guys AREN'T exactly the smartest guys out there. They're dumb enough to try this, and they're dumb enough to let what's his face get close enough to poke me, WHILE holding the key! So, we gonna stop them"

[Mistress Guendolen]

Elise nodded. "You can count me in. I'm not entirely sure how useful I'll be, but I'm certainly not about to stand here and let them transform an entire city against their will." Especially not my new boyfriend.... Who I just got out of their catty clutches....

(Okay, I'll take into account MoS's lack of response...)

Black Jack coughs from behind the rest. "If you're going to go, you better leave now. Gennosuke is fine, but I might want to make sure his limbs aren't stressed. He probably won't be able to go with you to this fight, though I will send him if I think he can make it. It'd be bad for my reputation for him to have to come back for the same problem after a mere hour or so!" He smiles ironically, and pats Neko and Elise on the shoulders.

Neko nods. "Okay, so now we just need to head to the military base, and you guys go up and tell them all what's going on!"

She moves to leave.

[Mistress Guendolen]

"Wait a minute, Neko. I'm coming with you, but first...." Elise went over to Genno and took his hands. "Part of me wishes you were coming with us, for this. But the other part is glad you're not, because it means you're not going to be at risk for getting hurt again.... I don't know if I could stand the thought of almost losing you a second time. So... I'll see you back at the apartment when all this is over." She gave him a little smile. "You don't need to worry, because I'll come back to you in one piece...." She regarded him for a moment longer, and then took a deep breath. All right, I hope I'm not doing anything wrong here, but here goes nothing.... She closed her eyes, stretched up on her toes, and kissed him, blushing. "Because that... was for luck."

[Xiao]

Though one wouldn't have noticed, Xiao gave a small smile at this display before walking towards Neko "Alright then, how are we planning on stopping them, violence? Tricking them? Destroying their blimp? Actually a well placed fire spell could destroy it quickly if you desired."

Neko shrugs. "Well, I was thinking some sort of big epic fight. And destorying their blimp would just get them to flee. We gotta take them down AND destroy the blimp. So, if we're ready to go...anybody got a map to the base?"

[Xiao]

"Well," Xiao began, "I would assume upwards would be the general direction we would need to go, and after that it should be fairly simple to pick out a blimp, how common could they be?"

Neko has the door open. "Um, it might be a bit more wise to cut them off a the military base slash power plant they are going to attack. Otherwise, they could flee the blimp, and still go off with their evil plans. Especially since we ALREADY infiltrated the blimp, and they might be ready for it this time.

[Xiao]

"This is true," Xiao said in response, "However, unless they have some sort of teleportation then escaping the blimp would require several minutes of openly flying towards the earth, and to reiterate a well placed fire spell could take them out. However surprize would also work, but I don't know where they would be attacking."
