Anthem City: Fall of the Possum

[Blaze]

Unfortunately, Suzie happens to look at Georgia as the younger girl's gaze lingers on her breasts! She blushes bright!

"H-Hey, what are you staring at?..."

[Harri-chan]

Georgia suddenly snaps out of her little trance, and looks up into Suzie's eyes with a horrified expression, as her cheeks went bright red, "I w-wasn't staring!", she protested, actually cringing with embarrassment.

[Blaze]

"Er... right. Good." Suzie mutters as the elevator arrives. What follows is the most intensely uncomfortable elevator ride of Georgia's now young life!

[Harri-chan]

Georgia leans back slightly, her eyes cast down toward her socks as they rode the elevator in silence. She chewed her bottom lip, looking pretty ashamed of herself. A little sigh escaped her lips as the doors finally opened on their floor, and she shuffled out into the corridor.

"I don't have a key... ", she muttered, letting the older girl go ahead.

[Blaze]

"Mm? Right, we'll have to get you set up with one..."

Suzie takes out her key and unlocks the door, stepping through without looking back.

[Harri-chan]

Georgia nodded a little, watching as Suzie unlocked the door. She blushed, and followed her through, closing the door behind them. Setting the skates down on the floor, she removed her white helmet, and then began to take off the pads from her elbows and knees, while glancing around the apartment for signs Amanda was awake.

[Blaze]

Amanda is indeed awake! She is sitting at the table, chewing her sandwich and reading the paper

"Hey girls, how did it go?" she asks.

[Harri-chan]

A bright smile spread across Georgia's face as she saw Amanda sat at the table. "It went good... I think", she said, glancing across at Suzie, as if she needed guidance from the older girl in just reporting back to her longtime friend. Her cheeks went red again as she realised this, and she settled down at the table, opposite Amanda.

"Anything interesting in there?", she asked, peering toward the newspaper. Usually she'd have been reading through it herself, over breakfast... but it hadn't even crossed her mind that morning.

[Blaze]

Suzie still looks a bit embarrassed and heads into the girl's shared bedroom.

"Er... no, nothing." Amanda says as she hastily turns the page. As she does, Georgia may catch a glimpse of the word POSSUM in a headline!

[Harri-chan]

Georgia's shoulders slumped a little as she saw Suzie heading into the bedroom. By the time she looked back, the page was being turned, and she only caught a glimpse of what had been written on it. For a moment, she sat in silence, chewing her bottom lip, and then leaned forward slightly, "What did that say on the last page?", she asked. She wanted to reach out and turn it back over, but instead grasped at the edge of her skirt, leaving the decision with Amanda as to wether or not she got to see it.

[Blaze]

Amanda sighs through her nose and nods.

"Okay..."

She turns the page and shows Georgia the headline "POSSUM INTERFERES WITH BANK ROBBERY, LETS META-VILLAINESS ESCAPE."

[Harri-chan]

Georgia twisted her head slightly to try and read the page, before rising from her seat. She came around the table to stand beside Amanda. "What?", she whined. Her cheeks were quite red as she turned to look at Amanda, and being so close, it was impossible to not feel like a child beside the beautiful woman. "Great... the last time I'm in the newspaper for a long time and it's that... ".

[Blaze]

Amanda sighs and nods.

"The police are shifting the blame into you. I didn't want you to see." she says, putting her arm around Georgia

[Harri-chan]

Georgia lightly leans into Amanda as she feels the arm come around her, and then turns slightly, returning the hug. "It doesn't matter... I'm not the Possum anymore, they can say what they want", she said, adding a kiss to the woman's cheek. Of course, she left out the part about going back to the whole super hero thing under a different name...

[Blaze]

Amanda beams proudly and pecks Georgia on the check before nodding.

"Good girl."

Suzie emerges from the bedroom, carrying a two-piece swimsuit with a slight frown.

"Sorry Georgia, this is too small for me now..."
