"Oof!" There isn't much else to say when being hit by a giant sea monster. James tries to fight his way back to the surface. He has to get away from here! Which way's the coastline?

James-You make it to the surface, but there is no coastline in sight, as you've been sailing for seven days into uncharted waters. That being said, the oceans currents start dragging you west, but you can still fight theem for now.

Making sure that he is drifting away from the hydra, James figures there's little to gain from fighting against the powerful current. He considers shouting for the others, but after what happened earlier... Better to save his strength for now, and hope...

James- As you drift, you see some timber from the ship, perhaps if you grabbed a few, you might be able to hang on to it and survive....for a bit. You are drifting away from the hydra though, so that's a plus.

Spotting the wreckage, James swims over and latches on. He tries to climb on. If he can just lay down, he won't need to spend too much energy.

Josh just looks back at the ship, shaking his head. Looking around, he looks to see if he can spot the boats the captain and the rest of the crew left the ship in.

With the sudden remembrance of the folk legend of these creatures there clearly was only one option to do... preach until they convert. Obviously they were misunderstood creatures being the legends that involved the end of time were always clearly propaganda created by bigots due to the fact that if the end of time happened already well there would be no one to spread the information. As such the entire time it took for them to drag him to the additional door Regin engaged the creatures with revised religious monologues that somehow summarized entire sermons into a short 10 second speech.

Regin-The trau laugh as they pull you down the tunnel. "Don't bother preaching your god here, our lord has a deal with him, he holds no sway over us....you may ask questions about your fate if you wish..."

Uther-((The bookcase opened, not a book))

"Hmmm?? that's to bad" Regin said not too surprised at the rejection, it was expected but like always it was just duty to try. "So which Deity is your lord? as not to many have deals with my Lord." Regin asked curiously. Although situated with some amounts of fear he had been in worse situations before though not by far so he was able to control and calm his nerves. After all intelligent being are always more pleasant to deal with even on bad terms then unintelligent ones.

Ivan looked at the ther peple in the lifeboat with a look of disdain on his face. "Seems we're all in the same boat now." he quipped.

((I said I would be better.....but I failed......sorry everyone. Next post, coming right up.))

James-You sucesfully climb on to the wreakage, and you are able to lie down. In the distance, as you pull away, you see the hydra....

Boat People- As you are on the boat, you can see the captains boat, with all of his sons. They paddle away as fast as they can, but you can see a faint glowing around the captain's neck.....it seems as he is wearing a meddalion of sorts. He notices this, and throws it into the ocean, but it is too late, the hydra crashes into his boat, eating him....alive. Luckily, you are slowly being pilled away, so it seems you will be safe.

Jacob-It seems that the neerest boat, the captians one, was destroyed before your eyes, but it seems the hydra's attacks have subsided for now. The screems of dying men slowly vanish, and you find yourself slowly losing strength....you need to find some driftwood, of something akin to that, and fast,

Regin-"The Great One is our lord, one oth the three lords of the underworld. There is a standing pact between the gods and our lord. He doesn't attack us, and we do not attack you humans....for the most part." The Trau smiles. "Of course, there are conditions."

Uther-Out of the bookcase comes.....the man from ealier. "Wanted to get you some tea, do you take sugar with it?" He asks.

James shakes his head. So there had been something that had lured the hydra. Hopefully it would leave him and the others alone now. But still... what a magnificent animal.
