"Well, as acting president, I have a long list of duties. Such as running the meetings, organizing it all, keeping order and decorm, and a plethora of other jobs. Yuo, on the other hand, if you joined, would probably just sit on a few sub-commities for a while, and that's it."

"No, no," Daisy responds, shaking her head. "That will never do. If I am to make any difference as the student council president, I will need intimate knowledge of the system's workings." The girl nods to herself. "Yes, I shall take over your duties, so that I can familiarize myself with them. What is the first item on your todo list?"

"Greeting? Who starts a conversation like that? And yes, I am Mia. Why would they? Probably becasue it's easier to handle, and we had the smallest homeroom of everyone in the school..."

"Ah... so previously disproportioned class sizes, sounds fun" Mark commented off hand, looking around the room at the other students "Is it always like this? Or is it because of all the new people?"

"Er...Alright."

Eli blinks, glancing over at the window, to see if it was particularly windy.

The winds, in fact, don't look that good...on ground level at least. A single brown leaf is slowly rolled across the grounds, but none of the trees are even swaying.

Alex blinked. He couldn't believe that the small weedy kid in front of him was into sport. "What sports?"

"....Oh...most of them......*Indiscernible*....but I'm not that good..."

Well, it was the only thing I was interested in here...

"Well, to each man his own, I guess...or girl, as there are a few girls that go to it too....for some reason."

"No, no," Daisy responds, shaking her head. "That will never do. If I am to make any difference as the student council president, I will need intimate knowledge of the system's workings." The girl nods to herself. "Yes, I shall take over your duties, so that I can familiarize myself with them. What is the first item on your to do list?"

"...But...you can't be the president, you just got here..." Sarah says, almost flustered, then recovers. "And they're my duties, I was appointed by the last president to do them. The first item on my to do list was to write a written announcement for the council, inviting all NEW members to come to the meeting. That is already done. My next order of buissness is running said meeting.

"Ah... so previously disproportioned class sizes, sounds fun" Mark commented off hand, looking around the room at the other students "Is it always like this? Or is it because of all the new people?"

"Well, we have to wait for the verbal announcements, and then we get the written ones after that, read by the teacher. So, we normally get a bit of time to talk beforehand, before we head off to class."

"Hm..." Daisy thinks for a moment, then nods resolutely. "Okay. Then, hold the meeting as planned. It'll be a great opportunity for you to introduce me to the rest of the council!" The girl picks up a pen and starts scribbling quickly on a piece of paper in haphazard handwriting. "I'll need to come up with an introduction!"

I can imagine why. Alex thinks. "Do you play for any teams?"

"Well, to each man his own, I guess...or girl, as there are a few girls that go to it too....for some reason."

Why wouldn't there be?

"Hm..." Daisy thinks for a moment, then nods resolutely. "Okay. Then, hold the meeting as planned. It'll be a great opportunity for you to introduce me to the rest of the council!" "I already have your introductrion ready. It goes like this....'This is Daisy Darlington.' Happy?"

I can imagine why. Alex thinks. "Do you play for any teams?"

"Well, there don't seem to be that many girls into the glorified cartoons, and such..."

Daisly thinks for a moment. "Short, to the point... but it lacks punch. How about, 'Daisy Darlington, your future president and ruler?"

"I think that may be a little too presumptuousness....I'll go with the bland entry, I think. Wouldn't want to overstate anything..."

"You've gotta make an impact, an impact!" Daisy says admonishingly. "First impressions are everything! How's 'saviour' sound?"

"...You met someone online? Do tell..."

"Well, I do a lot better with the academic stuff. I was only late because...I had something I needed to do at home." Ness stares into his notebook, hoping to avoid the girl's eyes.

"Sound pretty typical, either way thanks for the heads up." Mark said in a grateful tone of voice, pausing for a moment as if he was about to say something else he shook his head instead and went back to his seat.
