Unconcerned with the smell he assumes is just a lingering odour resulting from some old furniture slowly decaying, Rodmart carefully knocks on a door and cautiously opens it.

'Hello ?'

(Oh okay. Makes sense. I thought that was the case, I just wasn't sure.)

~Angela~

The light illuminates a dusty, stairs-less corridor. It's more like a dungeon than a castle, it seems. The door opens easily under her hand, despite the eras worth of dust that have accumulated in the room. She finds herself in a pitch black room. Only the beam of light from her cellphone allows her to see what appears to be a set of cages... or cells.

~John~

Putting the mystery of the invisible light-source aside, John looks around the room. The moldy clothes actually seem to be in much better a shape than he might have expected. Despite the smell, they seem fairly intact. Will he take them out of the cabinet and try to do something with them, or will he leave them where they are?

~Mike~

Laying down on the bed his feeling of comfort increases. This bed is actually quite comfy, isn't it? It might even be able to sleep for a bit. Wouldn't that recharge his mental batteries nicely? The thought causes him to yawn.

~Reyes~

Making his way through the storage room is something of a challenge. The barrels are packed tightly, leaving only minimal space to walk. Before he can reach the door he has to squeeze through an especially tight corridor. As he tries to get through, he inadvertedly bumps into one of the barrels, causing the stack to quiver as the top barrel slowly topples over...

~Marcus~

Running as fast as he can, Marcus runs down the corridor. But... where's the exit? This part of the corridor looks exactly the same as any other... Except, isn't it a bit darker here?

~Jace + Jason~

Despite the two of them having turned around, the darkness continues to deepen. There are no doors around them anymore. The only source of light is far ahead of them, a mere speck of light.

~Gina~

And... *ploink!* With a comical sound the bars come loose with barely any effort. Gina's exessive use of strength sends her staggering backwards, two loose bars in her hands. As if they don't feel like waiting until she gets around to them, the remaining bars topple to the floor, leaving the window free of obstructions.

~Jim~

Jim finds himself in a dusty corridor, leading in two different directions... Doors and portraits line the walls.

~Simon~

The big painting comes loose after a slight pull... but it's exceedingly heavy! Staying on his feet is nearly all the young man can do. Despite his best efforts however the massive frame slowly begins to topple forward, threathening to fall onto him...

~James~

( Marky's right, the second one should have said 'Jason.' Apologies. )

Thanks to his muttering... nothing happens. For now. Soon there are no more doors in sight and the corridor looks more like a dungeon. In the distance he can see a faint light...

~Rodmart~

As the door opens, the smell grows stronger. In the darkness of the room he finds uncountable pairs of animal eyes look straight at him, accompanied by the glittering of bared fangs...

As if they don't feel like waiting until she gets around to them, the remaining bars topple to the floor, leaving the window free of obstructions.

As she sits there on the floor, Gina blinks away stupidly before staring at the bars in her hands. Turning back towards the window, she watched the remaining bars fall, creating a rather large clang as they hit the floor. "That's... weird." She said in disbelief, but she quickly got to her feet and ran towards the window. As she climbed through the opening, she decided to keep the broken bars with her in case that she would end up needing them. "Anywhere is better than that room!"

"To the light!" Jason yells, darting toward the speck of light as fast as he can.

Angela squinted across at the bars, the un-even clicking of heels across the floor showing she wasn't too steady on her feet. A hand tugged at her short green dress as she crossed the room, moving towards the cells. She started to get a little nervous, her heart getting that little bit faster as she shone her light through the bars to see if anything was inside them.

"Damn," said Mike as he gave out a huge yawn. "This is one comfortable bed here."

Mike blinked his eyes a few times as he was feeling a bit tired. He knew he should get up but the bed was too comfy for me. He shook his head a few times to stay awake.

"I need to stay awake a bit. This isn't the time to-" Mike gave out a huge yawn and said sleepily, "Need to but maybe..."

"God I forgot how much this S#!% smells..." said John in reference to mildew and mold as he proceeded to take them out of cabinet and attempts to wrap them around the wood stick he had picked out from the rotted furniture. All the while trying to remember his old boy scouts 101 skills on how to make a makeshift fire so he would have a make shift torch.

"Keep your eyes peeled!" exclaims Jace as they run down the hallway.
"Let me confirm, your shelter shield is activated?"
"What are you planning?!"
"Your shelter is secure, is it?"
"Of course it is! Just see for yourself how powerless you are!"
"...Roger that."

Rodmart stays shocked for a half-second and then slaps the door shut as fast as he can with a yelp.

He takes a few steps backward, wondering a short moment if this is all part of an elaborate prank, but the fool smells convinces him that it is not.

Off he runs down the corridor !

Marcus's heart dropped, as he faced the darkness. Had he gotten turned around? Where was the door?!

Spinning around, he looks for an exit!

"Oof! This thing weighs a freaking ton!" Simon grunted as he removed the painting. He staggered areound the room ammusingly for a while, nearly tripping over the chairs a few times before the weight overwealmed him. "Oh crapcrapcrapcrapCRAP!" the punk yelled and the painting fell on top of him!
