The polite guy looked quite suprised when he heard Erica promising that he wouldn't lose his job because of the older men in expensive suits. He looked into her eyes for a long moment, "Thanks... ", he said, a small smile spreading across his lips. By now, the printer had come alive, and several pages of text were coming out into the tray at the side of it. The repair guy's thick brown hair flopped about as he bent down, picking up the stack of papers and handed them over to Erica, "Sorry about the delay with these, Miss".
"Erica... c'mon... ", came Faye's voice again, who was now holding the auditorium doors open, looking slightly annoyed. Inside, most of the seats were full now. "You were meant to start two minutes ago!", she said, tapping her foot against the ground. The repair guy glanced over at Faye, seeming a little intimidated by her. "Uh, sorry about that, Ma'am, it was my fault, but she's ready now", he explained.
Inside the auditorium, many of the men were turning to look back, some checking their expensive watches, obviously wondering what the delay with the presentation was. A few were starting to shake their heads.
