Make a TF Foundation: She Who Fights Demons.

[Blaze]

Soon Flo calls an end to it. Dana... has done poorly, her target only having a few holes on the edges. Alysha meanwhile has managed several bullseyes.

"Told ya~" she says with a smug grin

[Zoey]

Dana catches her breath and stops firing. "Ugh... thats stupid..." she says as she puts down her mini gun to brush away her new annoying long her hair from her face. "Pft..."

[Blaze]

"That's physics Dana, you're not exempt from those yet." Flo says with a grin.

"So I wouldn't rely on that gun unless you're up close and your target can't move much."

[Zoey]

Dana grumbles and glares at the smug butt Alysha =_________=;;;;;

[Blaze]

"Oh don't get like that. You were acting like queen of the mountain after the first one." Dana's mom points out.

[Zoey]

Dana blushes. "KING of the mountain, mom!" >///////< "Ugh... so what? My gun can still outpower Alysha's crossbow" <//<; she says crossing her arms, chocking on her pride.

[Blaze]

"I would note that in the time it takes for yours to start spinning, Alysha could have an arrow between your eyes." Flo says, earning Dana another smug grin from Alysha

[Zoey]

Dana grits her teeth and glares back at the girl. "Pft.... " she says turning away her gaze. She knew Flo was right though. Dana looked back at her gun and made it vanish. "Who needs long ranged weapons anyways. Their stupid..." she said trying to hide the fact that she was less than happy with the fact that Alysha made her sweet looking gun a laughing stock. She made her sword appear next though. "All I need to do is get close and chop her down with this bad boy..." she says sticking it into the ground.

[Blaze]

"Mrm... I think for you Dana, we'll focus on building up your speed most of all. Alysha we'll just put you through general training." Flo says with a nod.

[Zoey]

Dana's eyes widen. "Wait what?! No! I diserve the training she's getting! Speed is not my problem! I can do what Alysha does and better!" says Dana ever more chocking on pride. Stupid smug rival D:

[Blaze]

"That's not the problem here Dana. With a sword that size, there are only two ways to swing it, to the side or downwards. Unless you build up your speed, every demon you fight will be able to see that and dodge or counter. And with that big slow chaingun of yours, they'll be on you before you can shoot them. So we gotta build up your speed as much as we can, to the point that you can move and swing so fast, they won't have time to dodge. And with a sword that big, blocking will hurt them no matter what." Aunt Flo explains patiently.

[Zoey]

Dana grits her teeth and looks at Alysha and her mother, before turning to Flo. This was really starting to get on her nerves. "Fine..." replies Dana letting out a sigh as she picks up her should and rests the blade on the shoulder. She obviously doesn't look like a happy camper.

[Blaze]

Dana's mom notices Dana's frustration and sighs.

"Look Flo, we're gonna head back okay? We'll start training tomorrow."

Flo nods and ruffles Dana's hair.

"Don't get so down kiddo. I'll have you zipping around demons hacking their limbs off in no time!"

[Zoey]

Dana shakes her head and pushes aunt Flo's hand away. "No! I want to continue training!" she replies.

[Blaze]

"Hon, you're frustrated. It would be dangerous to practice like this." Dana's mom says.

"She's right. We have to achieve a state of zen when we fight. If we get too emotional, our demon side can overwhelm us." Flo says with a frown.
