The Boy (Didn't catch the name?)

"What's the matter? You're a big girl now!" Maxine whispers gently into the former boy's ear as she runs a hand through the other girl's soft purple hair. "Now that I've made you bigger and prettier, those bullies will never dare to touch you ever again! Don't you see? Now you're free!"

Jackie & Karl

((I'm going to wait for a post from Kris first.))

Kyle

Kyle finds Maxine easily enough, though her looks seem to have changed for the better. She seems to be busy with some other folks at the moment.

Darren

The two kids manage to calm themselves down after seeing Darren's smile, but there's still some sadness in their eyes.

"Can you rwead us a stowy?" Brandon asks as he tugs on her skirt with his small hands. "Pwetty pwease?"

Mike

".... Well? What do you want?" Maxine barks at Mike after staring at the nerdy girl for several moments. "I gave you a job, now do it!.... Unless you feel like having another, more suitable job."

She rubs her amulet between her two fingers sinisterly.

Lone Figure

Luckily, Maxine doesn't seem to have noticed the new arrival yet, so he's off the hook..... For now.

Robert & Pablo

"Hey! You two!" Maxine snaps her fingers, forcing the two guys to stand raptly in attention. "I need some maids to clean up this dusty library, and two of you seem capable enough. Get to it!"

A cloud of dust suddenly shoots out from the bookshelves, covering the two unfortunate males. The stuff not only irritates their throats, but their skin as well. It's as if ants are crawling all over them!

The former boy blinks, rubbing courageously at the tears still dripping from her eyes. "They... won't pick on my anymore?" She sounds like she can hardly believe it. "But..." Looking down at her new body, doubt clouds her expression.

[Maiden Miki]

Mike

".... Well? What do you want?" Maxine barks at Mike after staring at the nerdy girl for several moments. "I gave you a job, now do it!.... Unless you feel like having another, more suitable job."

She rubs her amulet between her two fingers sinisterly.

Mike jumped a little at the angry toned Maxine and then looked up at the taller woman. She could feel her glasses siding down her nose as she looked at Maxine in fear. Mike caught a glimpse at Maxine's amulet before looking at her eye to eye. Now she was reconsidering her question seeing that Maxine doesn't look like she was going to return anybody back to normal anytime soon.

"I-I-I was," said Mike between sniffles, "wondering exactly what you wanted me to do. You-you weren't very clear the-the-the last time. Please!"

[Nikki]

Pablo coughed.

"No hablo ingles." He says.

[Nosnits]

Daren sighs...this was the last thing that she wanted to do...but...if she must..." What story would you guys like?"

[Zoey]

Kyle makes her way to the woman. "Hey you!" she calls to her.

[muffinstud]

The Lone Figure watches in horror at the scene unfolding before him. Obviously the woman fingering the object in her fingers is some kind of demented troll (if a pretty one) bent on making everyone around her miserable. And she seems to be doing a pretty bang-up job of it too. And so, our brave hero does the only thing he feels is right to do.

He tries to book it out of there.

Unfortunately, his backpack weighs him down. His running is more of a loud tromping, stomping jog, and his large bag knocks over a few books on a trolley waiting to be put back into their proper shelves.

[Ookalf]

((Super multi-tasking Maxine, GOOOOOO!))

The Boy

"No, of course not! Just look at how beautiful you are now! No boy with a brain would ever think of hitting a pretty dish like you!" Maxine rubs the boy/girl's shoulder reassuringly. "Now, tell me your name.... Actually, hold on. Let me take care of this first."

Mike

A cruel grin forms on Maxine's face as she watches Mike fumble around with her words. It's pitiful to watch such a cute girl suffer like this.... Too pitiful. Dang, now she feels bad!

"Just look over the computers here and make sure they're working in tip-top shape. You can handle that, right?" She says in a softer tone.

Pablo & Robert

After coughing up some of the dust from his lungs, Pablo realizes two things: His voice sounds like a young lady's, and he's gained the ability to speak English. Is this a blessing.... Or a curse?

Robert's skin feels like it's slowly burning away as the raging dust saps it of its color, leaving him with pale, hairless skin that's soft to the touch.

Darren

"Umm.... Umm.... Little Red Riding Hood!" Josh shouts enthusiastically, her blue lights lighting up with joy. "I love that story! Please get it for us!"

Kyle

Maxine rolls her eyes when she hears the receptionist call to her. She creates all of these workers to help her out, and they do nothing but fight back. Sheesh!

"You might want to use a more respectful tone with me, ma'am." She mutters as she turns around, annoyance clear on her face. "I have more power than you- Ugh, just one more second, please."

Lone Figure

"Hey, you there! How dare you cause such a ruckus in my library!" Maxine shouts angrily as she rubs the face of her amulet. The Lone Figure suddenly finds himself unable to escape as the books he knocked down form a giant wall in front of the exit. "I think you need to learn a lesson. Perhaps being my female assistant will teach you a thing or two about behavior in a library!"

Pages begin to fly out from the books blocking his way, surrounding him and eventually consuming him in an impenetrable paper cast. He can still breath, but it's dark and cramped....

[Nikki]

"What is this?" Pablo says. "What's wrong with me?"

[Ookalf]

Darren

"Umm.... Umm.... Little Red Riding Hood!" Josh shouts enthusiastically, her blue lights lighting up with joy. "I love that story! Please get it for us!"

Darren rolls her eyes, but retrieves the story and brings it out for the kids. "Okay...but remember...we need to be extra quiet and good....we don't want to anger miss Maxine....okay?"

[Zoey]

"Don't ignore me!" calls out Kyle. "What's going on?!" she says not caring for the others around her.

Pablo & Robert

After some of the dust clears away, Pablo sees what's wrong with him: He's changing into a girl, and fast! His clothes have already turned into a bright red maid's outfit with white pantyhose and a short skirt, and he knows by the added weight on his head that his red hair has grown much, much longer.

Robert is experiencing the same problem, albeit a bit differently. Instead of red hair, he has light blue hair that almost reaches his feet, and the black and white dress that's formed on his body is more modest and frilly. Though the helm of his dress obscures his vision, he can feel stockings and black heels on his feet.

Darren

The duo nod their heads eagerly before sitting themselves down on some nearby chairs. By the glint in their eyes, Darren can tell that they're really excited to hear the story. Has the magic affected their minds that much?

Kyle

"I'm not ignoring you, dear. I just have a lot of things to deal with right now." Maxine turns on her heel to face Kyle, her hands placed firmly on her hips. "If you're going to ask for me to change you back, forget it. What I want for today is to have a vacation, and I'm going to get it no matter what!"

[Nikki]

"Mother Mary this is so wrong." Pablo says.
