Kitty wasn't sure she'd ever understand why it was that she seemed to enjoy how Katie had started to treat her, because it certainly hadn't stopped being embarrassing. Still, she grinned up at the cheerleader, before taking the cereal box from Heather. "Thanks", she smiled. It was Katie that she seemed to tag along with, sticking at her side as the others wandered about to grab the things they wanted. "I hope we have enough to pay for all this... ", she commented, practically hugging her cereal box to her chest.

A couple of boys in their late teens suddenly walked ahead of them, crossing their path. They both had shoulder length hair, one brown, one blonde, both of them with tanned skin and muscled bodies, which were very much on display as all they wore were colorful surf shorts and sandals. One of them nodded at Katie, and then the other turned and wolf-whistled at the cheerleader, his buddy laughing and clapping him on the back as they disappeared down another aisle. Kitty was silent, her cheeks bright red as she looked up at her older friend.
