"Probably not, but I'm sure there's many people who are as bitter as I am, or find that others are funny when they try to copy ya. And amusing me? Please, keep it up, if you feel like it. I've found so little to laugh at in my life."

Neko heads over to Gennosuke and Elise, leading 'Drool' with her. "Let's see, the bill will come down too..." She hands him a bill, which is less than Starbucks, but still on the expensive side. She then remembers a comment by Elise. "When Bob said 'leverage' I think he meant that he used 'leverage' while he fought...He's good at getting someone in a position where no matter how strong, they can't get out."

"You sound like you're pretty skilled," Michiko says, facing in the general direction of Gennosuke, "I bet it'd be real keen to spar with you sometime!"

Chiko stops, thinks a moment and turns his attention to Neko and the boy attatched to her.
"'Dreul'? That's a peculiar name? Is that from a German dialect? Is it Teutonic, Icelandic?"

[Mitera Nikkou]

Drool languidly turned his head to regard Chiko, a line of drool leading from his lolling tongue to the floor below. Since he was still in contact with Neko, he was still enraptured by her, and thus that didn't change when he looked at Chiko. Chiko, on the other hand, probably won't want to be looked at for much longer. I mean, the look on Drool's face was just disturbing... I think. And certainly having a guy like Drool looking at Chiko like that wouldn't sit well with him. I suppose. It's all up in the air, really. <.<;

Chiko, still oblivious to the reason he's called drool or his current expression, continues to talk to him.

"Ah, the strong and silent type. I can respect that. Silence is golden, you know. So, you from around here?"

Chiko tweaks one of his muscles and seems curious about the results.
"I take it you're not a martial artist, Mr. Dreul?"

Neko slowly, carefully, seperates herself from Tetsuo, and sits him down carefully in a seat. "Now, Drool, talk with the nice man, his name is Michiko. I have to continue work, and help Bob clean up. Be a good boy, and I'll get you a cookie!"

[Mistress Guendolen]

She nodded. "Okay, now I understand. Remind me not to tangle with him, then...." She turned back towards Gennosuke. "And you haven't had mucvh laughter? Well, we need to fix this then, don't we?" She squinched her eyes shut in an obviously exaggerated attempt to summon fire like his again.

"Eh, I'm not really that skilled Michiko..." He reached into his wallet and pulled out his last bit of cash, taking it up to Bob, along with the bill.

Genno shook his head and chuckled at Elise. "Ever thought that you might be trying to hard to make a guy laugh?" He sat down and stuck his tongue out at her, to let her know he was kidding.

[Mitera Nikkou]

Tetsuo blinked, having lost contact with Neko. Not having registered what Chiko had said last, he immediately assessed his position.

Around strangers? Check.

In public? Check.

Woke up from the daydream he had surely been having? Check.

That was all that he needed to know before he quickly found a table to hide under, within a booth (this place has booths, right?). He hid in the shadows, wondering when his mother would let him back into his room, and why he couldn't have more daydreams like the one that he had had...

"Oh, Neko..." He pined away in thought.

Neko pauses for a minute, while putting stuff back into place behind the counter. "Aw, crud. Bob? I need to check on this guy. Can you handle cleaning up?"

Bob looks at the mess, which looks like a John Woo fight scene had taken place behind the counter, leaving only the cash register unscathed. (And that had a big dent in the bottom, so it wasn't really UNSCATHED.) He sniffed, but nodded.

Neko grabbed a cookie, and a little mini-thing of milk, and hopped over the counter. She walked over to where Tetsuo was hiding, and stood just outside his vision, holding the cookie. "Here boy, here Drool...come to the kitty...I have a nice cookie for you." She slipped off her apron, and kept it in another hand.

Michiko's senses registered Tetsuo's changes in body in the brief second he had disconnected from Neko that he was still standing next to him. Quickened heartbeat, increases respiration, increased perspiration...

"Oh, dear...I seem to have frightened him...Terribly sorry Mr. Dreul." Michiko concluded, bowing apologetically towards the booth Tetsuo has taken refuge in, "Please don't be afraid of me. I don't mean you any harm."

[Mistress Guendolen]

Elise stuck her tongue out in turn and, putting one finger under one eye to pull it down a little, pulled the classic "cute anime girl making a face" face. "Nah. Me, trying to hard? Never! I'm just such a natural, I don't have to." She fluffed her hair with one hand, tossing her head like someone getting ready to strike a pose, grinning widely in a way that plainly indicated she wasn't taking herself the least bit seriously.

"Eh, I'm not really that skilled Michiko..." He reached into his wallet and pulled out his last bit of cash, taking it up to Bob, along with the bill.

Genno shook his head and chuckled at Elise. "Ever thought that you might be trying to hard to make a guy laugh?" He sat down and stuck his tongue out at her, to let her know he was kidding.

[Teddy]

"You're naturally funny? You didn't really strike me as being that way, with the whole destroying a vampire thing."

[Mistress Guendolen]

"And who says I can't be both at the same time? Well, not simultaneously, of course. But not everyone who's able to destroy vampires has to be all intense and gloom and doom all the time.... I just defy stereotypes, that's all!" She pulled another little face. "Nya!"

Genno was silent for a moment, thinking. Then, he contorted his face in such a funny looking way that those looking would have to be dead inside to not at least chuckle.
