Mustering all the might and excess energy he had, Frey sheathed his sword and tried another draw out, next to the bubbles. Hey, bubbles could be popped, right? Unless they're magic.

Pop they do! Not all of them mind you, but when she reforms she's a good deal smaller. "Damn you warrior..." She lifts her arms, conjuring a terrible storm over head, causing the waters of the lake to swell as torrents of rain pour down overhead. "I'll drown this whole country!"

"Well, this country means me as well, right? But, then again, you can't drown me..." Frey ran over to her and tried to run her through with his sword, using it as a spear, hoping the momentum will drive both him and her into the lake.

As you pierce her with your blade, she turns to water and splashes into the sand, seeming to be absorbed by it.

"Damn it..." Frey backed off from the sand, then got a thought. He kicked some of the sand into the water, hoping for something interesting...

Well you toss a bit of sand in the water, but what with the imminent flooding of the countryside and all, now might not be the best of times to build a sandcastle. Y'know...just sayin.

The rain continues to pour down, and the island is almost visible shrinking by now. However as you approach, the shrine DOES seem to be pulsating with dark energies.
