Is he- I really hope that's sarcasm there.... Elise was now feeling steady enough to clamber down the ladder. After reaching the bottom, she pointed up towards the now-visible blimp and said, "I need one that will get me to that. And help me find a way to get on board."

He looks up at it. "Well, that's one of the rules about getting stuff that's not easily available quickly. Generally, if quality goods are available for a cheap price, then it's somewhere where nobody wants them. So it has to be shipped in. I suppose we could look to see if there's helicopter tours of a local landmark, but they are usually guided. And, do you have the money to pay to either rent or buy a helicopter?"

[Mistress Guendolen]

"Money? Yes, I have money." I just hope it's enough.... And that we can last until I get my next interest payment on my trust fund.... What I wouldn't give to be able to access the principle of that right now! "Not to buy, I'm afraid, but to rent, yes.... Unless you have any better ideas as to how to get to that thing right now, of course." No time to waste- if I wait until it lands, it could be too late.... I thought I'd lost you once; I'm not about to fail you this time....

Daniel had been watching everything, not needing to hear to understand what was going on. As Elise looked up, he followed her gaze and saw the blimp, and her yelling towards the medic let him know that she needed a 'lift'. Hmm, sounds like she could use some help from above. he thought before standing, holding his staff out infront of himself.

Mia virga, redimio vestri per a lepor lepos de fuga. he muttered as his staff began to give off a dim blue light. After a moment of this light, it faded, though it began feel as if it were pulling upward instead of the normal effect of gravity, if this worked like it did back home, he should be able to use it in a broom like fasion as most stereo-typical pictures of witches, only back home he had people making sure he didn't fall.

Just need to take it slowly, he thought to himself as he stepped up to the edge of the roof. He took a few deep breaths before clenching his teeth and taking one last step forward.

His heart skipped a beat at the initial fall of a few feet, fearing that the spell hadn't taken effect yet, however the spell soon caused his arm to jerk as it slowed his descent to a much less lethal fall. He continued to fall in this way until he was roughly fifty yards from Elise and the paramedic, who both seemed to preoccupied to notice him.

He walked over to the two as Elise said her last statement, "Excuse me," he started, making sure to disguise his voice in case there were other things about this girl he didn't know, "I couldn't help but notice that you were in need of some help."

[Mistress Guendolen]

"Oh! Y-you startled me!" She certainly hadn't expected to see her new apartment-neighbor come walking up in the middle of this mess.... "Some help, you say? Well, if you know of a way I can get up to and into that blimp up there as soon as possible, I'll take you up on it.... What are you doing out here, anyway?." And- is it just me, or is he limping less than he was before?

(Oops, sorry. I forgot he was disguised. My bad. Please disregard the recognition side of things. Allow the post to be read as follows:)

IC: "Oh! Y-you startled me!" Okay, odd, but I've seen odder- my parents worked with someone who looked sort of like that a few times, there was something abouty them, but I don't remember and now's not the time to think about it- "Some help, you say? Well, if you know of a way I can get up to and into that blimp up there as soon as possible, I'll take you up on it- it may be crazy, but I can't waste any more time. Who are you, anyway?"

Daniel nodded and replied, "First, I believe I can help you get up there, and second, my name is unimportant, but if you must call me something, just call me Xiao (Zi O). However, if you need a lift I could provide one if you are not afraid of heights or wide open areas."

[Mistress Guendolen]

"Xiao? Okay, I'll remember that.... And as for a lift, what did you have in mind? Though I don't exactly have time to worry about any phobias right now- even though I don't have either of the ones you speak of. How far away is the transport?"

[Xiao]

"I have it right here with me," Daniel said, "Are you familiar with stories of witches riding broomsticks?"

[Mistress Guendolen]

She gave him a suspicious look. "Are you... implying what I think you're implying?... I hope this isn't some sort of twisted joke, because I'm in no mood to have anyone playing games with me. Unless you claim you really are a warlock, that is." I just hope it's not all in his head....

[Xiao]

"I wouldn't say warlock," Daniel replied, "they are normally associated with hurting people. However I am being quiet serious, I could give you a demonstration, however you said you were in a hurry and this would be much faster than looking for and using any other form of air transport."

[Mistress Guendolen]

"All right, you do have a point there. I have to get up there. Where is this 'broomstick' of yours?" I'm coming to help you, Genno. I just hope I'm not too late....
