The Asylum Economic Experiment

Postby BrianGirl » Wed Apr 16, 2008 5:12 pm

The Asylum contains four, spacious, interconnected rooms. Two are empty. One is a bathroom, with utilities. The final room has a small card table, a computer, a sticky note with a credit card number, and a swirly blue portal.

Rules!

1) Anyone can post.
2) Characters can enter through the portal or other means, but all means of exiting are blocked. So once you enter, you're stuck.
3) The computer is fully loaded and connected to the internet.
4) The credit-card # can be used to purchase things through the computer, which immediately appear through the portal.
5) Those who wish to participate but not enter, may do so through the computer, via webcam and whatnot.

The Fun: Be creative but considerate. The rooms are a blank slate. However every time someone else enters, there's one more person you have to share four rooms with.

Brian fly's through the portal and hits the ground roughly. He stands and dusts himself off. He seems to be about 24, wearing a simple green t-shirt and jeans.

"Well that was rough."

The screen of the computer flashes and catches his attention. The image of the grey haired Prof. Delusional appears smiling.

"Welcome Brian to the Asylum Economic Experiment! We thank you for participating and hopefully, you'll have some company soon."

"Yeah yeah." Answers Brian as he snatches up the sticky note. "Not like I had much choice."

*keaton steps through a portal, he appears to be about 17ish, he is wearing a duster coat, and is holding onto a big leather bound book, his hair is a bright blue, and his eyes seem to be a gray/light blueish color*

Well that was...unplanned...

"Heya!" Brian says without really looking. He's kneeling in front of the computer (No chair) and typing away.

"I'm Brian. What's you're favorite beverage?"

*A six pack of Mountain Dew Game Fuel comes flying out the portal.*

"Sure Keaton." Brian says as he turns to get his Mountain Dew, and looks at Keaton.

"That's one of the sweet parts of these deals. You can have whatever you want."

He goes back to the computer and clicks away till a six pack of pepsi comes out.

"Are you a painter? I'm not big on the whole Color Coordination, oil vs. lead sort of thing. So maybe you want to pick out the paint yourself."

*walks over to the portal and gets gallons of random colors.*

these will be good.

*walks over to a wall that is completely empty ( no shelves, or paintings or windows((if any are there))) and begins to splatter the paint all over the wall.*

that looks good.

Its ok Brian. It could be alot wierder. Remember you have to live with these people.

Brian goes back to the computer and summons the ultimate gaming chair, which he drags over to sit in. A few clicks more and out comes a plasma tv and a black leather couch.
