Hey all. You remember me? WAIT DON'T RUN!

(One chase later)

Ok now. I am back. And I want to come back strong, so I will be starting a new role play by weeks end. This way, the people who want to join have time to make up their character. The rules for the universe are going to be as followed. . .

1) I am the GM. My text in the role play is law. If you do have a problem, then PM me with it.

2) The universe is fantasy 101. That means weapons and magic stuff. There are a few races you can pick from. They are human, Giant, Elf, East Anthros (humans with animal parts), and South Anthros (Animals that are more human) to name a few. I will hold up a sign up sheet on this post as well. The first 4 who wants it are going to be our group of adventurers. Everyone else will be either villians or join up in the group later on. One thing though, I talked to Guen about this role play already, and she has a spot as one of our main characters. But there are still 4 open slots

3) The main characters will work in a guild called Bounty Inc. There can be other guild members sure, but to start I only want to have 4 heroes.

((All right. This sounds cool...one question though: Are we starting out as meager heroes becoming greater? Or are we already mighty paragons of hope?...Anyway))

Name: Lathan
Age:24
Height: 5' 7''
Race: Human
Skin Color: White (tan)
Hair style/color: Lathan's hair is a messy brown that hangs to his shoulders. He often has it pulled back when readying for combat.
Build: Lathan's frame is stronger than average; broad shoulders and defined muscles. Because of his bounty hunting background his legs are strong due to running after a mark and his arms are the same due to his swordplay and bow and arrow. He prefers picking people off from a distance with his bow over laying them down with his sword.
Outfit: Lathan wears a simple forest tunic and brown pants. His belt and pack used to hold his implements of capture. A camoflauge cloak conceals most of this when he wears it. He has a brown, leather headband as well. All articles of clothing are weathered from wear and surviving in the wild.
Items: Lathan sports a bastard sword on his left hip and a bow and quiver across his back. The sword is something he bought at the beginning of his bounty hunting career while the bow is a family heirloom. He finds using the bow easier and enemies seem moreso wounded by his shots (he assumes it's family luck). In his pack he has rations, a waterskin, manacles, rope, and various gear for surviving on his own.

Everyone can always get stronger. That is a simple law of nature. While some start out strong, others gain strength faster. In short, you all will get stronger as time goes on.

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Unless you die.

Well...dying does usually put a damper on progression...unless you implement rules such as progressive ghosts *shrugs*...but that's complicated.

But yeah. Is Lathan an acceptable character for the party of Bounty Inc?

Hmmmm... Eh, why not.

Name: Grey Inuhanyou
Age: 16
Height: 5' 7"
Race: East Anthro (is a wolf-girl acceptable?)
Skin color: Pale Caucasian
Hair style / color: Jet-black hair down almost to her waist, large black ears
Build: Short and slender, but don't underestimate her
Background: She was rejected from her birth pack when she was born and left to die on a mountain top. She survived, and lived as a lone wolf for a long time before becoming convinced to try the companion thing out again. She'd become quite the efficient killer on her own, so she thought, "Why not get paid for it?" Thus she joined Bounty Inc.
Outfit: A black shirt and jacket with rolled-up sleeves; loose dark blue jeans with holes in the knees; tall black boots; necklace with a wolf-shaped charm on it that she got from her mother (her father rejected her, not her mother).
Items you have: Magic bow she crafted herself that can fire multiple arrows at once; two short swords; several healing herbs; all the skills a wolf might have, like smell, hearing, endurance, stealth.

Acceptable: Yes or No?

Wolf girl sounds good.

One thing I did forget to say though is weapons and armor can only have one magical ability. Yours will be that "Unlimited arrow" power. But that does not change your character at all.

Name: Grunwalde
Age: 28
Hight: 6,1
Race: Human
Skin color: White (pale, with spiky black tattoos covering his visible skin)
Hair style / color: Shaved.
Build: Tall, thin, and agile.
Background: Grunwalde is... one of a rare breed. He has been blessed (or cursed) with the ability to make and utilize poison in every way, shape, or form. His past he keeps to himself. But currently he hires himself out as a mercenary... or an assassin. Whoever is willing to pay, and whoever meets Grunwalde's standards.
Outfit: Black leather armor, boots, and gloves. A good portion of his lower face is covered with a silver filter for when he uses poison gas.
Items you have: Poison needles, dagger, small crossbow, poison gas bombs, smaller concealed one-shot crossbow. And various poisons.

Also, from years of working with various types of poisons, Grunwalde is practically immune to poison. His filter is partly for show, to keep from coughing, and so that others do not learn of his immunity.

Well... what do you think of him?

Name: Rath
Age: 19
Height: 5'11"
Race: Elf
Skin color: White
Hair style / color: Mid length (around neck length) black hair.
Build: Slim.

Background: Rath learned swordsmanship at a young age. After he had finished his training, he decided to test himself by adventuring. He wishes to get stronger by facing strong opponents.

Outfit: Leather armor, black slacks and black boots.

Items you have: A pair of identical longswords that he dual wields, and which he got from his teacher. He also carries rations of food, and bandages.

Is this okay?

This does sound like a good group for the adventure. Of course, Guen's character will be joining up as well when she makes it, but anyone else who joins I can work into the villian side with whatever they make.

And if you role played with me in the past, you know I am very much Unbias when it comes to combat. So the fights will be fun and fair.

Ah, just what I waited for. An opportunity to be a villain.

Name: Kale Corban
Race: South Anthros
Age: 23
Height: (two legs) 5' (four legs) 2' 4"
Length: (tail fully extended) 7' 9"
Skin color: variable

Build: Kale is a reminiscent of chameleons, with opposable digits on his feet, prehensile tail and a lithe frame. His face is somewhat human in nature, but he has a short snout and no ears or nose, just slits. He enjoys putting people off by using his protruding eyes to look in two directions at once. He looks thin compared to some of the humans around, but obviously makes up for his lack of strength with speed, agility, and his ability to blend in with his environment.

Outfit: Kale wears a suit of tough boiled leather made from other Shifters (a nickname for chameleoids) he no doubt stabbed in the back. Due to it's origin, he can make his armor blend into the background like his own skin.

Items: Two retractable blades in a pair of guantlets on his fore legs and a fixed blade on the end of his tail. He is also able to produce throwing shivs from various nooks and crannies in his clothing.

Background: Kale has always delighted in making others ill at ease. Whether simply vanishing into the wall or explaining his latest blackmail scheme to the victim, he just doesn't care. He takes assassination jobs and often plays both sides of the job. He once had the hit contractor and the victim offering competing bids for a week before he killed them both and took all the money. He gave all the money to a series of orphanages. His soft spot for street urchins and orphans only seems to inflate his monstrous appetite for chaos, as he often teaches them how to pick pockets in a very fatherly way.

How do the races compare in lifespans?

Ok then Muffin. But if you wanted to be a villian, you should have just said so sooner. heh heh.

Well Elfs can get pretty old. Around 24 human years their bodys age at 1/3 the normal human rate. Til then, they age like humans. Anthros also age like humans. Giants age 1/2 as fast as humans.

Name: Saira the Cat
Age: never says, but looks like she’s in her twenties
Height: about 5’3”
Race: human
Skin color: on the paler end of average
Hair style / color: Long, almost to her waist, and thick, usually left loose and unbound, and it’s dark brown in color.
Build: Compact; not large, but fit
Background: Saira doesn’t talk much about her past. It’s widely known she’s been adventuring for a long time, and seems to have been with this organization for years. Rumor has it she was recovered by them as a child and trained, thus explaining both her long career (despite her age) and access to quirky gadgets and magical items. She got her nickname “the cat” for two reasons. One, she’s very nimble and tends to land on her feet. Two, she always says she “has nine lives.” Maybe it’s a luck thing. Either way, no one has ever gotten her to say how many of those “lives” have been used up. Even if only proverbially. Luck only lasts for so long, after all.
Outfit: Saira typically wears a long-sleeved, dark bluish-gray top with, depending on the coldness of the weather, either leggings or cuffed shorts and tall stockings, accompanied by short boots. She wears wide-cuffed gray gloves, a gray cloak, and abbreviated (as in covering not much below the chest) chest plate and shoulder guards, as well as a gray cloak when needed.
Items you have: Saira carries a sword at her waist and a dagger strapped to her leg. She also has a few odd gadgets attached to her person, but they only have so many charges or uses and need replaced/recharged every now and then. Namely, she commonly carries little bombs to make a smoke screen, a jewel on the cuff of one of her gloves that, when pressed, releases a cloud of sickening smoke, and embedded in the hilt of her sword, a feather float stone. Again, these only have so many uses at one go before they need repaired.
