Magical Sailor Fuku

Hi guys.

I've had several ideas rattling around my head for a while now, but I get a bit scared at the thought of running a RP. I get so many ideas for things to do when RPing, but when it's me running things, I worry the ideas will dry up, and I worry so much, I start going blank. See my Muffin Room RP based on Wonderland to see me just run out of steam.

I'm thinking of rebooting this here on the Role-Playing forum. Perhaps it will work better. I've learned from one or two mistakes, and maybe the added focus on RP will help me, rather than me worrying about what TF I can give someone as they disliked the last one. It won't be quite the same as before. While the Muffin Room version was bright, cheerful and filled with cute or sexy girls, I was thinking of a much darker version. It's kind of annoying, the Tim Burton movie is out soon, and it also includes some of the ideas I had, such as the war between the Queens for Wonderland, choosing a champion etc, and I hope it won't feel like simply trying to recreate a movie in RP.

So, who'd be interested? And would anyone like to perhaps help out a little? Someone to bounce ideas off would be great.

I shall support you in all endeavors regarding this RP! A fine addition to the spectrum of genres I have played! Might actually give me a chance to play some contrast in it. If you ever need my consultation, I'll be happy to offer my insight.

Would these be normal people going down de hole?

Well, I was hoping for some discussion and feedback from people. My idea was that yeah, they'd be normal people, and the opening posts would be everyone describing their character going to bed at night, and then they'd wake up somewhere new.

That sounds pretty good, but do you have any idea (as a GMic background detail) how we're all abducted...are we actually taken physically or do we just wake up mysteriously in a different bed? Depending on what you describe, will determine how everyone's second post turns out and from there, the story.

Well we need some substance first. How much info can you give us?

I'm totally interested in this idea, but have the fun of the Muffin Room one was the cheerful weirdness. I think, rather than going "dark", you'd be better off approaching a fairly serious plot (warring Queens and whatnot) from a totally surreal (and TF-y) angle.

Just saw this and thought, "I want to give this one a try". I know I have been less than active for a while (only partially my own fault....) but the more RPing I am doing the more I tend to visit (otherwise I feel like I am letting people down).

As for starting, well as far as I remember, Wonderland is a remarkably varied place so it is very possible for different people to get there in different ways. I myself have an idea in mind already (flying bunk bed anyone?)....just throwing in an idea...

Wouldn't mind giving it a shot.

Why not add some Willy Wonka-ishness in it?

Maybe they get a ticket or are invinted in and once there, their like trapped or something.
