Magical Sailor Fuku

Despite being the only person in the briefing room, it feels small and cramped. The folding metal chair is hard, and wobbles annoyingly back and forth. The small screen turns on, and the pre-recorded message plays.

"This is footage from an undisclosed weapons testing facility. As you can see here, the devastation caused at the location is catastrophic." The video shows mock houses and cars, trees and the like blown away like matchsticks in the wake of multiple explosions. "During the testing, we discovered an anomaly... this young man." The footage switches to a clip of the wreckage... and walking through it is a young man with a school backpack. The audio is muffled. "-ello? I could have sworn there was an arcade here..." The video cuts to a picture of the young man, front and center... a bored but otherwise healthy specimen.

"His name is Lance Coleson. We do not know how he appeared on the site, and neither does he. Neither he nor his equipment was damaged in any way. He knew nothing about the testing, even after questioning. He was released soon after, closely monitored by covert agents. This is what we found."

The video cuts to multiple shots of the young man going about his daily life... everything normal save for some spectacular display of violence directed at him. In one, a random person leveled a machine gun at him. In another, a barrel of toxic sludge was emptied over his head. In yet another, he was set on fire. In each of the videos, he simply walked away, completely untouched and unaware of the event. "All attempts to recruit him into government programs have ended in failure. Should he become aware of his abilities, he could cause untold devastation to the world, with no chance of retaliation. He has been labeled as a threat, and must be eliminated. That is where you come in."

The screen changes to pictures of a nicely upkept, large building. "The subject will be residing in this boarding house we have prepared for him. Legally, he is the owner. Your mission is to blend in with your surroundings and catch him off guard. Find his weakness. Exploit it. Terminate him."


The video ends, and a small briefcase opens... one different for the recipients in each of their nondisclosed locations.


==== Knight Errant:
Jace finds the paperwork he had requested... a full presidential pardon. Well... make that multiple presidential pardons. He had been a busy man these past few years. It also contains the information for several private offshore bank accounts in his name he could use to transfer any funds he has to a more secure location. Also included is a small stone that at first seems to be a paperweight. Instructions next to it indicate that it is to be held tightly in both hands. This will be part of the process to create his cover identity while on location.

==== Zoey:
Matthew finds a list of dossiers... a crack team of commandos that offered the best of the best. He also found intel with the position of the enemy forces that killed his friends. There was a document with the stipulation that he lead the team as their eyes and ears... so even though he wouldn't be there to pull the trigger, he would still have an active part. Lastly, there is a small stone, with instructions to hold tightly with both hands... necessary to assume the cover identity for his current mission.

====Whatevr:
Lucas finds a copy of a deposit slip for a savings account in his name. The amount is... unheard of. He could live comfortably just from the interest he would get from that kind of money. He also finds receipts for all his past debts... all paid in full. Lastly, he finds a small stone. It has instructions to hold it tightly in both hands, claiming it will aid in the process of assuming his cover identity. Done right, this could be the role of a lifetime.

Jace leans back on the wobbly chair... frowning down at the stack of papers. He flips through them... a flash of colors as pagentry from various nations flip by. "Seems all there." They must really want this blighter dead. Must have taken an army of lawyers to pull these together. And who knows how many backroom deals.

He gets on the horn... transferring one of his main spending accounts to the given location. Not all of them of course... just in case this wasnt above board. Lastly he takes the stone... looking over it curiously. "Whats this supposed to be for? Moral support?" He shakes his head. "Pencil necked morons."

Watching the video, Lucas felt a bit nervous. The guy..didn't seem like a bad person. Sure, inexplicably invincible, but not apparently evil. Had he really agreed to kill someone? In real life? Of course he'd assumed the role of assassin before, but always in situations where the person he 'killed' could later get up and walk away and get on with their lives. He took a deep breath to calm himself, and tried to remember that this was a good thing. It was the government that wanted him dead, after all, and clearly for good reasons.

And then the briefcase opened. Lucas looked through the papers wide-eyed; he hadn't expected them to go so far as to pay off the credit cards, loans, the occasional missed rent payment...and the amount in the account, too. That was..certainly something. He calmed himself, another deep breath, and reevaluated the situation. Maybe he wasn't a killer by nature, but he could do this. One nasty act, one kill, and then he could do anything he wanted to for the rest of his life. No more jobs or finances, just sinking his teeth into role after role, embodying every person imaginable.

Yes, he nodded to himself, he could do this. And according to the instructions, this would begin with..squeezing a stone. This was not the usual way of building a costume, to say the least, and he was rather curious what it was about. So he tried it out, palming the stone, pressing his other hand over it, and pressing against it as hard as he could.

As the video plays Matthews expression is serious especially as it shows the scenes of destruction and rubble cause around this one person. Only one person? That can't be hard. Back in the day he could kill dozens of enemies with one clip from his semi-automatic. Already he could notice some flaws in the tactics used against this individual. "This looks easy enough" he says nodding to the men in the room with him.

As on queue he got the brief case and placed a hand on it. Matthew glanced back at the men for confirmation. "This better be what I think it is..." he says still very serious. Upon opening the briefcase his expression finally gave way as he read through the papers. "You have to be kidding me... the Tasmanian Devil?... The Reaper of Bangladesh?" he said as he went through each dossier. "These men are... legends. Everything's here... their contact, guises, history... everything!" he said, his expression twisting to a grin. With these men on his side... yes, there would be nothing to stand in his way for revenge.

Matt reviewed the dossiers once more memorizing the hiding places of these men just in case... Ideas came in and out on how he could do the mission but nows not the time. He sighed and called himself. "Alright... this mans life will be taken. We have deal..." he said shaking the hand of the man in charge. He took the stone with one hand and judged its weight and looked it over as with the other hand he read the instructions. "... Alright?" he said skeptical as he pocketed the paper and held the stone firmly between both hands...

Knight Errant:

As Jace turns the stone over, he sees nothing particularly extraordinary about it. What he feels however... is a strong pull in his hands, wrenching his palms to cover the smooth rock. Once in contact, the world around him fades to black. The stone is gone, and he feels as if he's floating in an inky void. There's the faint sensation of his body moving, being carried somewhere. It's so distant, so far away. Now, all is blackness, save for a strange light radiating from his skin. The light glows brighter, more pure and white with each moment until it engulfs him.

The white light pushes against him, squeezing him tightly from all sides. He can feel his body relenting to the light... letting it mold him. it feels soft and sweet and pure, like nothing he's felt before. It feels wonderful. It also keeps pushing against him, smoothing out his arms and legs, making his frame lithe and slender. His scars vanish, leaving behind perfect, creamy smoothness. Everything about him is so much more delicate, and the light makes that feel so wonderfully right. It isn't done yet though... as he feels the light delve through his mind.

Jace sees a score of new memories, all so real and vivid. Yet in these memories, he is not Jace Massani, gun for hire. Rather, she is Lily Immelman. Upon focusing on each memory, her life becomes so clear... as does the feel of her own body. She recalls her time in school, how she had been so popular because of her looks. She feels her form soften, her face tickle as is becomes heart-shaped and angelic. She remembers applying for the modeling agency, and her excitement at being accepted. She feels the curve of her hips and chest swell with pleasantness. She knows she applied to live at the boarding house because it would be close to work, and it would be a good opportunity to make friends in a new town. She feels her hair blossom out, and her clothes shimmer into a modest yet form fitting white dress.

The memories and the feel of her body are strong. While she remembers who she was, Her old name seems distant, distasteful. While these strong memories tell her how to care for and move in her new form, the light reassures her that she is still her own self. The light breaks...

And Lily finds herself standing in front of a boarding house with a rollaway suitcase in tow.

Whatevr:

Lucas presses his hands firmly against the stone, and he suddenly finds himself completely surrounded by immense blackness. He can still see himself, as if some strange light shines on him. He hovers there in the emptiness... and somehow feels as if someone is moving him, carrying him somewhere. Somehow, the light shining against him is familiar... and now something else is visible in the inky dark. He sees... a red theater curtain.

The curtain parts, and he feels the warm glow of a spotlight around him. He is center stage to an audience of nonexistence, and yet he feels something urging inside of him that this is of the utmost importance. He also feels the warmth of the spotlight seep into his skin... tightening it and making it feel smooth and right. He feels small on that stage, smaller than he knows he should be. He also feels thinner, as if the heat of the lamp has cooked part of him away. Then, in the distance, he hears a low sound. At first it seems like applause. As it gets louder and nearer, he recognizes it for the sound of static on a television screen.

There, where the audience should be, are a vast array of screens. All of them play different memories, fading into static as they transition from one to another. The screens move to either side as new, insistent and more prominent memories take front and center. He remembers each one vividly... but not as Lucas Walsh. Instead, she remembers herself as Estelle Bouvier. Each screen enlarges one by one, bringing each memory to bear... and reminding her of her own form. She remembers being picked on in school for her ears and tail, crying in the hall until good friends dried her eyes. She feels her ears soften and come to a point atop her head as her hair spills down along with her fluffy tail. She recalls friendly faces at the maid service, and her own smile as she felt at ease for once. She feels her body soften, her hips and bust curve outward into modest proportions. She fondly remembers her first permanent job... a quaint boarding house with a bit of history. She feels the light shine on her clothes, ruffling them more than they possibly should until they form into a fluffy black and white dress with an apron tied around the waist.

All of her memories are still there, still very accessible. And yet... the memories of her in this soft, fuzzy-eared form are strong enough that her new identity feels much more palatable. She knows full well how to carry herself, and how to care for herself. The screens dissipate, the spotlight turns off and the curtain closes...

And Estelle stands before the boarding house, a pair of small suitcases at her feet.

Zoey:

Matthew holds the stone as ordered. Looking around, he doesn't see the forms of his superiors any more. They all have vanished into an impossibly thick darkness. His hands now empty, he floats in his own little oblivion. Although, he knows he's still somewhere... as he can faintly feel someone moving him... carrying him somewhere. The darkness is overwhelming until he sees a pinpoint of light above him. It cascades down, showing him the brilliant form of an angel.

The ethereal, winged form wraps its arms around him, holding him tightly. It feels like home, like better days... like forgiveness. The light washes over him as the arms pull him closer, ever tighter. He feels his body dwindle to make way, to let the blessed entity hold him in its arms. He feels so much smaller now... his arms weaker. His skin feels much smoother against the wispy angel, the soft comfort it gives flowing through him until he too feels soft and comfortable. It loosens the embrace and lifts his chin towards the column of light.

There, Matthew sees all his memories, all of what makes him who he is. The very center of the light holds something new... memories she knows all too well as Diana Hemingway. She experiences each memory in her mind and in her very body. She remembers when she was young, bullying the boys in school because she was taller than them. She feels her slender form stretch and take on a dextrous beauty, her hair tickling to her shoulders. She remembers feeling bashful as the girls in the locker room compared their conquests in love. She feels her body soften and swell, her curves tell of even greater softness to come. She recalls transferring to a new school for a chance to start over, the quaint boarding house her parents' decision. She feels her clothes shift over her soft skin, fluttering to match the flattering uniform of her school.

She remembers everything from before, but she also knows that her old name seems so distant... foreign even. She learned from her mother how to properly take care of herself and how to act... even if she didn't always heed her advice. The angel dissipates, the light cracks through the thick blanket of dark..

And Diana stands at the gate of the boarding house where she will be staying, a duffel bag slung over her shoulder.

Okay, so all three players so far are in the same location. You are free to interact with each other.

Also, due to the magic of the cover identity, you will be as comfortable in your new skin as you choose to be. Certain things can be done "on autopilot" since the added memories can cover for what your original memories lack. Mainly, it's all there simply to make the you look, sound, act and remember things in such a way as to not arouse suspicion in others.

Jace raises an eyebrow as his hands are suddenly pulled together. "Oi! Whats... the hell is all this?" He looks around as he is suddenly swallowed by blackness... and then light. He twists, curses... and strikes in blind... and then slowly... he is pinned first... The light wrapping around him... then he finds himself relaxing, despite himself. The strange sensations infusing his grizzled form.

Strange memories seeping in... not of mistrust, death, and pain... but of simple problems... a promising life... full of excitement and opportunity. It almost sweeps her away, before she remembers who she is... managing to steel herself from the rest...

And as such... when she suddenly appears... rolling suitcase in her slim hand... next to the other girls... the first words out of her... sounding strangely high pitched... is "What the F@*&%!?" She squeaks...

Matthew looks around as he is consumed by darkness, taking an instinctive fighting stance. "W-Whats going on!?" he yells before being carried away somewhere. Darkness everywhere before light suddenly hits him. He tries to cover his eyes from the brilliant light an... angel?! His heart skips a beat. Is he dead?! He can't be dead! As his mind races he's embraced and he starts to calm down.

The soothing form of the angel embraces him, making him feel so lazy. He tries to struggle from the weird entity, but can't his body feels so weird. It all seems like it took place in a split second, before his mind gets filled with what seem at first foreign memories. "D-....Dia...na?" he says trying to get his thought straight as he experiences what Diana did? He holds his throbbing head, so confused. What seem to be useless memories are... his... her memories now? What? Everything so confusing! W-Who is she? Is she two people? What's going on?

Before she knows it, Diana stands at the gates of the boarding house where she will be staying, a duffel bag slung over her shoulder. She blinks and looks around. Spotting two other individuals? One twin tailed girl in a skimpy dress and a small dog girl? She looks so out of fit, almost with a glazed look on her as she looks down to her body. Its... her usual body? No... Yes? No this was Diana's body. Her body was... She can't remember her other name right now. She knows its something else and that she's a man, but she's also Diana? Before she can continue this new philosophical dilema the black haired girl snaps her out of it with an outburst.

"Gah! W-WHAT?!" she exclaims also caught off guard by this new yet kinda similar voice coming out of her lips.

Lucas suffers from a kind of sensory overload as he changes in a way he never has before and remembers things, not just as facts but as if they were real, prior experiences. Before he's even processed the half of it, he's already Estelle standing out on the lawn, looking up at the house.

She plays catchup as quickly as she can manage. It's easy enough to slip into Estelle's mannerisms, much easier than usual, enough so that even though she reaches up initially to try and understand how her ears are now covered in fur, the role at the surface turns it into a very natural hair-brushing sort of movement that still accomplishes the goal. How is any of this even possible? Super-science? Magic? This kind of power could take roleplaying to an entirely new level..but obviously letting it out into the public would pose several dangers. Maybe they'd let him borrow it every once in a while? The animal ears and tail were a nice touch, on slightly deeper thought; he'd never known before what it was like to actually have something like this and from now on he would. And--

At this point, Estelle-above-Lucas's thoughts are interrupted by both of the other girls' shouting, nearly at once. She jumps slightly but manages to regain her composure after a few seconds, looking over at them with slightly widened eyes, as if confused at the outburst. Actually confused about the outburst. Briefly confused about the sudden presence of two other girls. After flashing through all of that, she decides to stay quiet for a bit longer, instead bending slightly to pick up the suitcases, still half-looking at them as if unsure what to think of them (internally: unsure what to think of them, but for different reasons).

The Boarding House

All three girls, in their various states of composure, are privy to the pristine sight before them. The "Shogun Chateu" as it reads on the sign at the gate, is a lovely fusion of eastern and western architecture. The small front lawn is well tended and bears a small cherry tree already picked clean of its yearly fruit. The building itself has tall windows along the outside, the glass frosted to maintain privacy. Two steps lead up to a wide patio across the entire front of the building, complete with a porch swing bench and a tasteful assortment of potted plants.

Their memories will also tell the girls that the building wraps around a fully enclosed central garden, stocked with colorful goldfish and carp and decorated with bamboo. In the center of the peaceful garden is a large pool with heated water, made to replicate a natural hot spring.

The common rooms such as the rec room, kitchen and laundry are all attached to the front hallway. Bedrooms line the hallway turning off from the east side, and around the bend turning north as well. Each of these halls has a single shared bath. The west side is reserved for the landlord, with a larger bedroom suite and utility closets for maintenance.


As for the reason the three are here... there doesn't seem to be anyone inside the house at the moment.

Feel free to intermingle for a bit. I'd like to set the stage before introducing your target.

Lily frowns... taking a few deep breaths before forcibly calming herself. There had to be a good explanation... They had said something about a cover story... but... this? She looks around... details of the area filtering into her head from the implanted memories...

Until she comes to spot the other two... turning around, she looks them over... lingering on Estelle's exotic appearance. "Um... hi?" She looks between the two... feeling regret over her previous outburst now that its clear she is no longer alone.

Diana blinks confused as the twin tailed girl seems to act erratically. Not sure if this was part of the mission or not, the whole point of becoming.... this, was to keep a guise. She bites her lip and some of her male pride and nods. "H-Hi, my name's.... Diana... Diana Hemingway" she says surprised it didn't feel as odd calling herself that as she thought it would. She extends her kinda new feminine hand to twin tails, her expression neutral at the moment. "I'm moving in to the..." she adds taping in once again to these weird memories. "...Shogun Chateu" she finishes after a brief second.

Lily looks over to the schoolgirl with the vibrant hair... looking over Pinky as she nervously speaks. "R-right. I'm... Lily... Immelman. Nice to... meet you?" She shakes hands... the feel of her small, soft hand so strange... yet familiar. "I'm moving in too... So I guess we'll see each other around?"

Diana nods, shaking twintails hand for probably a bit too look as the feeling is so weird of having such a small hand. She catches herself however and pulls the hand back. "R-Right, I guess we will" she says shifting a bit and adjusting the duffel bag over her shoulder. It feels so heavy, what in the world could there be inside of this thing? She then turns to little miss pup. "Um... And you are?" she asks.

Once her luggage is in her hands, Estelle turns more fully toward the other girls, watching them talk and trying to get used to being so much shorter than everyone else. When addressed she gives them a sweet, pleasant smile. "Estelle Bouvier," she says, "I'm working as a maid here, starting today. Pleased to meet you." She gives a small curtsy, grateful for some added memories of learning to do that as Lucas never had any reason to learn that particular move.

Diana sweat drops. "Seems everyone is moving in today" she says. "Nice to meet you, Estelle" she says giving a nod to the young short girl. "Doors open, so... I guess we can go..." she adds, adjusting her bag once move over her relatively now small shoulder and starts walking, heading towards the building they'll call home for now.

Almost immediately as Diana starts walking she almost trips over herself, but thankfully righting herself before she feel. If was fine when she was standing, but as soon as she took some steps, her balance went out the window. Obviously the way she was used to walking before wouldn't work now. As she stood right up again the image of a woman she could recall was.... her mother, complaining about her posture and how ladies... her age should walk? Hand quickly goes to her forehead. Stupid invasive thoughts again.
