One Piece Rp

Yes, the long awaited RP of mine... We'll have to start off with a Jayme post and for those that have characters, so you don't get angry and linch me, I'll be interacting with you, so we won't have flashbacks. If you're still working out the 'kinks' with myself, than don't sweat it. We'll have you done before your character shows up.

Now, before you post, make sure that everyone the OP is interacting with has posted before you. Including the OP. I want this to tell a story to the people outside of the RP, not just a huge jumple of posts. Follow this rule unless MoS says not to.

In the golden age of piracy, many pirate crews searched for the legendary treasure of One Piece. News of this treasure spread all over the ocean... Even into the winteryish (is that even a word?) waters of the North Blue. Though not as cold as Drum Island, the average tempature of the air was chilly. Though those used to the cold could wander around in shorts and t-shirts.

And now, let's go to our fearless captain.

[Jayme]

Water splashes to each side as the 5'6 soaking wet Trace Lummy pushes his foot down into the bottom of his single man boat launching himself into the air and cracking the boat in half. As each half sinks Trace lands on a nearby dock and rolls hitting a nearby barrel.

I won this round..

Trace stands up and heads further onto the dock..

But that was my only boat.. hmph I need to get a boat if im gonna be a good pirate.. that boat was no good anyway sunk far too easy..

He leaves the dock and wanders up and into the nearby town. He wanders through the center of the town, his clothes dripping water with every step he takes, this draws more than one glance towards himself.. while looking around his eyes are drawn to 2 nearby 'sexy babes' giggling amongst each other.. he grins his eyes locked on them no longer paying attention to where he's going..

Virgil wasn't having a very good day. First of all, his current crew had been arrested by the marines, he'd barely escaped, and now, he had nothing to really eat. He wasn't paying any attention to his surroundings and bumped into another man, this one around his age. The girls just laughed and walked away.

"Hey! Watch where you're going you lummox!"

[Jayme]

Trace growls and snaps his head towards Virgil annoyed at seeing the girls leave like that..

Your the one who should watch where he's going! And the names not Lummox, its Lummy! Trace Lummy actually.. thats right I am THE infamous pirate Trace Lummy! (he's never been heard of actually)

[Teddy]

Virgil stopped for a moment and sweatdropped. "Actually... I've never heard of ya. You some sort of escaped crazy person?" Virgil had gotten to his feet, being wary of this guy.

[Tenshi]

The camera pans away a bit from the pair, as it lands on a female figure with waist length hair in a town not so far from the port. A few thudding sounds appear to fill the air as the figure delivers a powerful round house kick to the last of the thugs that were trying to force money from some locals in the area. As she claps her hand to throw off the dust, we see that the female seems to be wearing a blinker of sorts around her eyes, preventing her from seeing... or so we thought.

"Well, that's the last of these idiots... hopefully they won't be showing up around here anymore, heh. Now, time to collect my reward."

She then whistles a cheery little tune as she walks towards the local law enforcers office, dragging the beaten up thugs behind her.

[Jayme]

Trace sweatdrops and nearly falls over, before growling and pointing his finger in Virgil's face..

I am not infamous yet but I will be one day.. and im not crazy!

Trace sighs looking around..

...the girl's are gone now, thanks alot..

[Teddy]

Virgil shrugged. "Well sorrrry! I've got more important things on my mind other than women! I mean, the marines know they're missing one of the Umbral pirates... And they might come after me!"

Meanwhile, the strange woman was delivering the thugs to the local law enforcement office. The woman at the desk had a large man drag them off to the back. "I'm sorry ma'm, but we can't pay you here. You're going to have to go to the port at Afrotown to get paid... But that's not even an hour's travel from here." The woman wrote the martial artist a note to take to Afrotown and give to the marine captain there.

[Tenshi]

"What?! Afrotown?!?! Bah, guess I have to go there if I want to get paid...*grumbles a bit*"



She then grabs the written note from the woman and exits out of the building, before pulling out her map of the region and begins her journey towards the not so far port town of Afrotown.

[Skyblue]

Once again the camera pans away from the current scene, to a town in the opposite direction of afrotown. The scene zooms in pass a sign "Cheesy Village" and into the basement of a nonedescript looking house in the middle of the town. Here a Doctor Drake Bolton, scientist and engineer extraordinaire is prepared to test his newest invention....."the liquid fuel burning autosail!". Yes folks there he's working on the world's first V8 engine....heck...the worlds first engine period...but that doesn't stop Doc Bolt from going for broke.

HAHA!! I've done it!! I just need to turn this crank and my invention shall begin functioning! I'll show them whose crazy!!

And so with a shake of his fist.....he cranks the engine.....which starts up and runs.....for 5 seconds....unfortunately for him he hasn't come up with the radiator. So with a loud boom, his little home explodes. Taking out the market beside it, and the police station, and the fire department, and did we mention it got a carriage of nuns to?

*coughs*......not again....I'm out of here!!!

So only stopping to grab his mobile "lab" device and strap it to his back, the slight crispy, and hair burning doctor bolt flees the town.

[Jayme]

Trace looks towards Virgil..

You're a pirate, too? and you say the Navy is after you?

[Teddy]

Iris's journey to Afrotown was very uneventful... But as she approached the town itself, she got a feeling of unease. Like a huge conflict was just waiting to happen.

Doc.. Oh, Doc Bolt. The surviving nuns are after you. Along with all of the other people of the town. They've chased you all the way down to the docks of Cheesy Village. How are you going to escape? You obviously can't swim with that thing on your back.

Virgil shrugged. "I guess I'm a pirate... And I'm sure they're after me! What's it to you psycho-boy?"

As she walks along the road, a shiver runs along her spine... causing a pause to her walking, glancing down at the town before her.

"Ugh, why do I get a bad feeling about coming here...?"

She then shakes her head and continues on towards the town, trying to get rid of the uneasy feeling.

[Jayme]

Trace rubs his nose and grins thinking to himself for a second...

I know you'll join my pirate crew and we can sail away from here before the Navy has a chance to find you... whatcha say?!

Runs from the horde of very angry people towards the docks

Why does it always turn out like this?!?!

As he approaches the dock the people smirk knowing he can't swim while wearing such a heavy thing on his back....a smirk which quickly drops from their faces as the good doctor with several pulls levers and rotating a few parts throws the thing in the water and jumps on......yes folks....Doc Bolt's mobile lab has a "jetski mode"

So long suckers!! Your no match for my self propelled mechanical water horse!!HAHAHAHAHAHA!!
