A young girl, with short brown hair that frames her cheeks, and two blue bows in her hair quietly sits in the grass, looking up at the sky. She has a flower in one hand, doing the traditional 'He love me/he loves me not', deal. What is surprising is the sheer amount of discarded flowers that she has behind her, each with only one petal left. This one has two. "He love me." Now it has one. "He loves me no...Poop." Without removing the last petal, she tosses it aside and picks up another one.
As she does so, she looks up, and notices two hang-gliders and a broom approaching at high speed. She pushes her cheeks in with her hands, distorting her face in a rather unique pose. "OHMIGEWD!" She runs inside. "Doctor, Doctor! New customers coming in at high velocity!"

Ground coming fast ground coming fast toofasttoofasttoofast- "How do I stop this thing?!" Elise yelled, to no one in particular. The flying part had been- manageable, but suddenly she found herself in the situation of fast-approaching ground and no method of settling on said ground without danger to life and limb in sight- She braced herself- Hope I can land somewhere soft-

Genno gritted his teeth and flew towards what would be the softest part.. Or get the glider hung in a tree, whichever came first.

A figure dressed in a black trenchcoat steps out of the doorway, watching as the two hanggliders and one broomstick land. Guen, trying to slow her speed, pulls back a little too hard, and does a flip in mid-air. She finds herself facing upwards, looking straight at the sky, then backwards, belly to the sky, then downwards, nose to the...
Then the nose of her hang glider sticks straight in the ground, and she finds herself doing a headstand. Her safety harness gives out, depositing her safely on the ground. The girl looks at her. "Hi. I'm Pinoko, the Doctor's wife!"
As for Genno, he is not as lucky. His glider lands on the rooftop, and catches on a tile. It flips over, and then slides off, depositing him right in front of the doctor, granting him a good look at the figure.
He would be a handsome man, if it were not for the viscious diagonal scar cutting his face in half. Despite the sheer length, it was merely a line, with no sign of stitches whatsoever, and no bubbling. Just a smooth line of flesh that was white as new fallen snow. Not to mention, is that he was literally half white, and half black. The left half of his skin was white, the right half of his skin was black. His hair was likewise bisected, white on the right, black on the left. His white bangs were grown long, and curved sideways, granting him a white lock of hair across his face. He bends down over Genno, revealing a patch of black skin on his right forearm, just before the wrist, with an equally proficient scar. He looks at the wound on Genno's arm.
"You were hang-gliding with THIS? Someone nearly severed your middle supraclavicular nerves. Can you feel this?" He pokes Genno's deltoids, but he feels nothing. "Stress from the hang-gliding may have worsened it..."
Xiao lands smoothly nearby, between Genno and Elise, or Pinoko and the Doctor.

"Ow!" Elise winced as her head bonked off the ground. And then her vision got obscured... because well, her rather full skirt had followed suit and flipped over as well. "Ah!" She knew she was turning crimson as scrambled to upright herself while simultaneously attempting to keep her skirt under control.... And hoping fervently that none of the men present saw anything....
Still red in the face, she hastily tried to straighten herself out as she looked at the brown-haired girl. "I'm Elise. Elise Hamilton," she said, somewhat out of breath from all the speed and excitement. "S-sorry we crashed on your lawn like this, it's- it's a long story...." Then she saw that Genno had successfully- reasonably successfully, anyway- landed, and was apparently being checked over by the "doctor." She hurried over to them. "Genno! How do you feel? Is- is he going to be okay? Is there anything I can do to help?"

The girl smlies at Elise. "Don't worry Elise, my husband is the best doctor in the world!"
The doctor nods. "Well, I guess I am now. Sensei was always better than I was, though. As for ways you can help, Elise. Well, the fall didn't hurt him, but I'm going to need to fix his arm. How did it get injured, when, and how much money do you have?"

"It got injured not too long ago. I wasn't there at the time- I came along later- so I don't know the details. Just that he got in a fight...." Odd, how at first it seemed to work just fine- he was certainly holding me up with both arms in that corridor.... She felt herself blush a bit at the thought, and hurriedly brought her mind back to the present. "So you'll have to ask him exactly. And don't worry, I do have money. Not a great deal on me at this moment, but I have sources I can tap into. Enough, so long as nothing extravagant needs done." And even then, hopefully I could find a way....

The Doctor bursts out laughting when she says nothing extravagent. "Then, you may be in trouble. I'm something extravagent. Bill Gates himself comes to me, and pays me a million dollars for a check-up! Unless you have something worth that much, or know an influential friend, you can't afford my help. This operation is worth $100,000. No insurance excepted, I'm unlicensed."

"Um... is that a joke?... If not, well, I know someone I can call, and I'll bid you good day." Honestly, how full of himself! "Because you may not have realized it, but we did not drop down on your lawn by choice. It just... ended up that way. We of course do not wish to trouble you. No doubt Mr. Gates is awaiting you, after all." A hitherto unseen note of sarcasm, faint but still there, underlaid her last couple of comments.

The doctor's face looks hurt for a brief second at the sarcasm, and his eyes flash of a sorrow. "Well, there are other ways for you to pay me. I didn't say I wouldn't do it. I'll tell you what, if you can figure out something that is WORTH that price, you can pay it to me. I'll bring your friend inside." He motions to Pinoko, who moves inside to get a stretcher.
"I was once paid in sushi, that one time. You are right, it was perhaps fate that you dropped in here. Even a god must respect the whims of fate, or be consumed by it."

"Other ways?... Say I can figure out this amazing item or items that's worth such a cost. How am I supposed to procure this, if I have no means of paying for it? I mean, I have- skills- but they're rather... specialized. If you have any pesky spirits bothering you, or a- a vampire under your house that won't go away or whatever, then I could do something about it. But I certainly can't prepare sushi worth a hundred thousand, I'm afraid...."

The Doctor smiles. "That is your problem. I'm sure you can figure out a way. Perhaps there is someone who is willing to pay $100,000 to get rid of a vampire, or perhaps there is something that is useless to one person, but useful to another. Say, a sword that will heal, not harm. Or, a list of medical treatment, or a text on biogenetics, or a book in a foreign language that needs to be translated. Heck, you could get Pinoko a working magical girl wand."
Pinoko comes back, and puts Genno's arm in a shoulder cast, preventing him from moving it. She pouts at the doctor. "An twenty year old woman had no need for such things."
The black-faced doctor smirks. "Perhaps so. Shall I remove your Sailor Moon doll?"
Pinoko's eyes grow wide, and she shakes her head rapidly. "No. No. No. No. No!"

She's twenty? She looks to be about my age, if that! "And how much time would I have to locate this mysterious valuable item? For that matter, how would I know what you would consider worth that much? I have an inherent dislike of devil's bargains- I've seen and heard about entirely too many negative results from such deals. You may not be a demon, but I still prefer to know exactly what I'm getting into, and what all the details are, before I get into it."

Genno groaned, and looks at his arm. "I doubt it's really that bad. I was able to use it up until a few minutes ago..." He looked from Elise to the doctor. "Don't I get a say so? I'm sure I can find something... Or dad may have something worth that much."

"Oh, I'm sorry! It's just that you looked like you were in a lot of pain, so I didn't want to make you strain yourself further.... Of course you get a say-so! It- it's your arm, after all...." His family must be well-off. I'm learning new things all the time.... Still, she was slightly red from the thought of having been too presumptuous in taking charge of the situation. "I'm sorry if I took over, I guess I've gotten used to making decisions on my own in the past year or so...."
