Ha! No one ever expects the Brotherhood Inquisition! Surprise... you get the joke. On this momentous occasion I should begin by delivering a speech. Attention people of Muffinville and associated areas, you all know me. Especially the NPCs, I've killed most of you at one time or another, if not personally, then certainly by proxy.

On behalf of all who rigged the votes for me, I promise to inaguarate this new regime by giving you lots of kickbacks while I brutally oppress everyone else! Anyway, I'd like to say that this victory proves once again that the brotherhood always comes out on top eventually! Even if it self destructs horribly afterward. Windyuki does have a point though. All those things she mentioned are part of the proper democratic process. Its a wonder it doesn't get used more. I know if I was running I would use a lot of them including good old fashioned assassination, character or otherwise. Still, I agree with Miku that the media should have been informed.

Actually, there are such things as write-ins. It occurs, albeit relatively rarely, that voters all decide to vote for the same person who wasn't on the ballots, so your proof doesn't actually amount to anything as such.

More to the point, if the tortoise wins by going slower than clearly the best way to win is not to participate at all. It's a zen thing you know. What's the sound of one hand clapping and all that jazz. Koans.

Now, it would be fairly easy to point out that 75% of the council seems to be sock-puppets instead of actual eligible to win. To those I say this: Look a distraction!
