Ysabelle: Domovoi of Perahnto

[Blaze]

For Ysabelle, it has been a year since she was reincarnated. Afterward, she was sent to another world. She now lives in a small rural village named Perahnto, in a cold hilly nation named Rossijskava. The world has only just recently entered it's Space Age, with offworld colonies becoming more and more populated. A group of people opposed to space travel has been gaining support recently, but such things aren't important to the people of Perahno.

Since Ysabelle arrived, she has had to use her skills to defend the village from hungry wild animals, bandits and the like. The village granted her the title of 'Domovoi' or guardian spirit. Late one night, she is awoken by screams and the sounds of revving engines. A red light is coming through her window...

[Raleigh]

Ysabelle: ебена мать. *She gets up out of bed and moves to grab her weapon.* If this is one of those biker gangs I've been hearing about I'm going to at least collect me a ride while I work. *Having collected her weapon she heads for the exit of her place to find out more about what is going on. Even as she moves she activates one of the information terminals she keeps on her person to see if it will display any information on an alert or something.*

[Blaze]

Out into the chilly night, Ysabelle can see that several of the structures in the village are ablaze. Checking her terminal, she sees that there are no alerts, but her news feed shows a highly important update. Looking around, she can see bikers circling the village, throwing molotov covktails into the village and scaring the villagers into staying within the village with random gunfire.

[Raleigh]

*Realizing she'll have to check that update after she deals with this, Ysabelle first runs out toward the circle of bikers with the intent on dealing with them. As she passes one of the fires she pulls a small cartridge out of her belt and tosses it in where it activates in a form of foam fire suppressant.* Ysabelle: What the hell do you think you all are doing? *She uses the backside of her sword to clothesline one of the punks off his ride.*

[Blaze]

The bikers don't look pleased as the fire is put out. The one Ysabelle targeted tries to swerve to avoid the attack but is knocked from his seat with a satisfying whack! He falls to the ground and goes still, the bike careening off.

"Stay out of this woman!" one yells, waving a gun at her.

[Raleigh]

Ysabelle: And why should I do as you say? You seem to be disturbing this village with ill intent. I can't allow that. What exactly are you intentions anyway? *She doesn't seem to be too worried about the gun being pointed at her for some reason.*

[Blaze]

The biker doesn't answer and fires the gun at Ysabelle! A few other bikers circe around and surround Ysabelle to restrict her avenues of escape!

[Raleigh]

*She smirks as she flips her sword in the way and at such an angle to deflect the bullet into the gas tank of one of the spinning motorcycles.* Ysabelle: I suppose your choice is to die then, yes?

[Blaze]

The bullet impacts, sparking as it hits the metal and igniting the fuel inside, causing a nicely sizes explosion. Thankfully, it was heading away from the village, last thing it needs is more fire.

The attacker scowls at Ysabelle and revs his bike before speeding at her, firing wildly!

[Raleigh]

*Ysabelle grins ferally as she charges at the incoming bike. Her odd outfit seemingly capable of buffering the impact force of the bullets for her. Just as they grow near each other she lashes out with her sword intent on severing both the rider and his 'horse' as it were in this situation.* Really? Charge in head first?

[Blaze]

The bike and rider are both sliced cleanly, the parts heading in two directions. Screams and cries can be heard from the nearby woods where some of the villagers have gone to hide!

[Raleigh]

Ysabelle: Hm... messy. Now, leave all of you. You're harming the village and its inhabitants. Don't make me have to remove more of you from this mortal coil.

[Blaze]

The bandits to indeed flee... further into the woods, and with hostages! As they do, they have allies set fire to the trees! It's been a long hot summer, so they catch quickly and easily, blocking the path!

[Raleigh]

Ysabelle: Damn it. *She remembers a bit of her old magic and while it isn't as present in this reincarnation she tries to tap into a portion of it to first put put the burning trees that surround the town. Hopefully a rather thick mist should appear and settle over the flames snuffing them out. While she does this she also calls out to the villagers.* Anyone seen where they came from? Any information at all will help me track them down and rescue the people they took.

[Blaze]

Thankfully, the magic does work and a fog covers the woods, cooling the fires. it takes it's time through, at least 10 minutes, giving the bandits a good head start. The village elder, an old man with a hunched back wearing a forest green robe approaches her.

"They came from the mountains... please save my people..." he whispers, his voice hoarse from age and smoke inhalation.
