Ellen: ...Probably. *shrugs* ...But then, that's why I'm learning. I'm too young yet to figure out what I want to do when I'm grown up, but whatever happens I want to be prepared for it.

*Ellen trembles just a little. She takes a look around, trying to locate an extra chair.*

Good for you. *Ellen spots some armchairs scattered around the room.*

Ellen: ...Thanks. *walks over and plops into the nearest armchair* ...So, how long had you been reading that book before I came in?

[Circe]

Oh, about half an hour...

Ellen: ... Hm. Would I be able to borrow it sometime? ...Not today, of course, but whenever it's convenient for you.

[Circe]

Oh, sure. I might even have a spare copy around somewhere...

[AmbushCat]

Ellen: *appreciatively* ...Thank you. To me, there's few things more satisfying than reading. ... *looks up in thought* ...Well, except maybe swimming.

[Circe]

I hope not at the same time...

Ellen: *a bit amused* ...Not unless the books were completely waterproofed and able to float.

[Circe]

Yeah, that's what I figured...

*Ellen nods and remains silent for a few moments, content to just rest.*
... ...I almost forgot. Aldonza was going to come too, but someone from her alma mater wanted her to give a speech of some kind. She asked me to give you her apology.

Ah. Well, that's too bad.

Ellen: ... I sort of wish she came along. It takes a while to walk here from the Mungojerrie. *stretches her arms a little*

You walked all the way here?

Ellen: ...Yes. I stopped once about halfway here to rest, but the fact remains.
