Dact leans backwards from the strike... moving to put his leg in front of the girl's pushing forward with his arms and then leaning back forward to try and trip her and pin her to the ground!

The girl does fall forward... but stops both her and Dact's fall with her arms, supporting both their weights!

Dact, suddenly upside down... finds himself tipping forward and onto the ground with a *THUD*
He blinks under his helmet. "Okay... wasn't expecting that." He jumps up to his feet, turning to the girl. "Before we continue.. I feel I have you at an unfair advantage."
He looks over her. "Your not... exactly... dressed for battle. Let me even things a bit if we are going to be fighting hand to hand." He takes off his helmet, setting it aside. Then undoes the straps of his armor... the discarded pieces falling to the ground with clanks and thuds until Dact is down to his leather and chain under armor.
He stretches a bit. "Right... I think I'm ready for round two."
