Looking for Blaze

[Feng]

The man gives Blaze a passing look and... for some reason he looks kind of familiar? Its hard to tell given the dimly lit room. Besides, before she can get a proper look he vanishes up the stairway.

"Its not very often we get humans in this neighborhood" says the blind Chibi store owner, hobbling over. "What brings you here anyways?"

[Blaze]

Blaze watches the figure, trying to place her finger on who it was before the store owner approaches her!

"Erm... oh, we need some spell components? But Bones had to go and leave and I don't know what they are..."

[Feng]

"Oh dear. That man didn't impregnate you did he? I'm sorry but we don't serve those kinds of herbs here, deary. If you're looking for vitamin supplements for the baby, go next door."

[Blaze]

"..."

Blaze has never wanted to kill someone more than she does now.

"Noo... we're not even dating." >////<

[Feng]

The sweet blind chibi gives Blaze an innocent grin.

"Oh dear! You young people and your reckless mating habbits. Its a small wonder the overworld isn't overpopulated by you human bunnies!"

Suddenly Bones returns from his "Mission"

"Sorry about that. Did I miss anything important while I was *ahem* away?"

[Blaze]

"Bones tell the man what you need." Blaze snaps, her face burning red!

[Feng]

".... .... Riiiight. This is... awkward."

He turns to the Chibi woman.

"We're going to need some Shimmer Weed, a phial of grave soil, mummy dust, and some dried tomapples."

"That'll be 400 Hl please" says the shopkeeper, giving Bones a suspicious glance.

"Oh, and black candles if you have them."

The shopkeeper pauses, eyeing the two suspiciously.

".... .... What are you up to? These reagents aren't for your typical pregnancy. Sounds almost like the work of the Shadow League. You're not working for the Sorcerers are you?" >_>

[Blaze]

Blaze glowers at the old woman.

"I. Am. Not. Pregnant."

[Feng]

Bones gives Blaze and the woman a confused look before turning his attention back to the shopkeeper.

"I assure you we are not in league with those devils" says Bones. "While the order may suggest foul play, our purpose is a noble one."

"Nothing good can come of rituals involving grave dirt and dark candles," mutters the shopkeep, ignoring Blaze's outburst. "Only a Necromancer would dabble in such spellcraft.... And yet you profess innocence?"

[Blaze]

Blaze takes several deep breaths to calm herself down.

"Ma'am I swear that we aren't using these materials for evil purposes."

[Feng]

The shopkeeper gives them a long judgmental look.

"Then what ARE you up to then? I cannot sell these goods in good conscience unless you somehow dispel my doubts for this ritual..." -.-

[Blaze]

Blaze takes a deep breath in preparation to explain.

"We need to destroy a voodoo doll that someone working for Pepper made of us, and there's a barrier keeping us from touching it. We need these materials to take it."

[Feng]

"Then why didn't you simply ask for salt then? Don't you young ones know that all manner of foul curses can be dispelled with just a pinch? What are they teaching in your schools these days? *Mumbles in Chibi*"

"This isn't for dispelling a curse" says Bones shiftily. "We need this for something else... It's about Pepper you see."

The shopkeeper pauses, giving the two another piercing look. "Pepper, eh? The disgraced guardian...."

She pauses deep in thought before eyes widening with realization.

"If you're doing what I think you are up to you're going to need more than black candles for that. That's heavy duty sorcery" O_____o

[Blaze]

Blaze raises an eyebrow at all this

Mental note: Study up on Chibi culture after all this. Not used to being in the dark about mystical stuff =__=

[Feng]

"Don't worry Blaze. I'll explain on the way to our next stop."

He turns to the shop keep handing her a large bill.

"Keep the change. Oh and I'll be taking this as well" he says, picking up a large phial of salt.
