I suppose I may as well... *Circe sits down by the side of the pool and slides in.*

Ellen: *nods* ...Must be nice to be able to relax without being disturbed every ten minutes.

Yeah... Things tend to be pretty quiet here, all things considered.

*As Ellen formulates a reply, she manipulates several cards into nudging the propped-up boogie board towards the pool.*
...I wouldn't know. There's always something happening back home, and it's spelled with three letters.

Let me guess, it starts with an "E" and ends with a "K"?

Ellen: ...Got it in one. I know you're probably sick of hearing me complain about him, but he's the source of most of my ire in life. *shivers* ...And a few months ago, he reached a whole new level.

[Circe]

What did he do?

Ellen: *shivers again* ...He got hold of a bottle of Pepsi Max... and drank it.

[Circe]

And that made him even more hyper...?

Ellen: *nods* ...The Spamville Weather Service labeled him a natural disaster. *blushes and squeezes her eyes shut* ...I have never been so embarrassed in all my life.

[Circe]

Well, I'm glad I wasn't around for that...

*Ellen grabs the boogie board when it gets close enough, resting her arms on it.*
...Since you've said that, so am I. When Callista found out, she almost died via air loss, she was laughing so much. ...This led to Mom standing stock-still for twenty minutes and punching anyone who came too close.

*Circe chuckles.* Sounds like they took it well.

Ellen: ...Hmph. If I didn't get an injection of sanity into my life now and again... *gestures with one hand, possibly indicating both Circe and the Manor as a whole*
