Yeah... Perseus decapitated her, right?

Ellen: ...Yes, so it goes. A rather disturbing tale. *shakes her head* Really, using her head as a weapon... and I thought fanfiction authors had warped imaginations.

*Curtis can be heard sneezing from somewhere past the fourth wall.*

Forced to support the sky itself for all eternity... *Circe shakes her head.*

Ellen: ...That, and being turned into an oversized lawn decoration. *rests her head on her arms*

Well, that depends on what stories you're reading... I mean, he's supposed to have met Heracles some years later, right?

Ellen: ... *nods* Yes, supposedly. I haven't done enough research to come to a proper conclusion, but the two accounts could probably fit together if the Heracles story took place beforehand. *shakes her head* I don't know exactly when the respective stories began to circulate, or exactly when they were supposed to take place.

Sure, they fit together... If you disregard Heracles being descended from Perseus, and thus coming after by default.

Ellen: ... ... *palms her forehead* Sometimes I really hate mythology.

*Circe chuckles.* Well, I wouldn't worry too much about it if I were you.

Ellen: ... ...I guess you're right. It's not like I want to become an expert on the topic when I grow up. Swimming and botany interest me plenty more.

*Ellen grabs the volleyball when it drifts close enough, gives it a light toss, and punches it over the net away from them.*
