"Well, you would be given odd jobs to do, like all interns. But we give a perk to our interns. A cybernetic implant of their choice! You will get paid well and even if you leave, you get to keep the implants. What do you think?" Fimbulvetr asks.

Sam blinkblinks and pauses for a moment, glancing over to Miccah for a moment, before looking back to Fimbulvetr, thinking to herself. "What are these odd jobs, nya?"

Miccah couldn't help but to ask the all important question- "... do we get dental?" She snickers slightly, before frowning, this is no time to make jokes! Noticing Sam's gaze, she returns the look with a shrug, before looking back to Fimbulvetr- "Erm... I've worked in science lab before so... I've got no problem with odd jobs around the lab..." She pauses, and looks around at the various changed people- "But erm... I'm not sure if I can quite agree with what's happening here..." The small kitty raises an eyebrow and stares up at Fimbulvetr, almost defiantly.

The portal leads Ryu to a hi tech world of glittering silver spires that pierce the clouds! She can see all this out the window of the building she has been warped to. It seems to be in a large governmental building in front of thousands of important-looking people.

"... whoa." It was all she could really say as she took in the view of the world around her, surprised at the look of it all. Shaking her head, she noticed the people and gave a smirk. Bursting through the window, she proceeded to land in front of the people.

"Attention everybody! I'm here to inform you all that Fimbulvetr shall conquer your world! If you allow this to go peacefully, you will all be fine!"

*Looks at the man with a passive expression.* Well that was stupid. Now then, I suppose I should point out that I'm from another realm and am here to herald my employer's eminent conquest of this one.

[Blaze]

Victor narrows her eyes. Assuming she can do that still, of course.

"...That's the kind of world I came from. That's why I'm not going to work for you!"

"Ahh, I see the problem! You think I am a cruel ruler! Nothing could be further from the truth. I usually let someone from the worlds I conquer rule it, only putting one of my people in charge if necessary. Also, I let them govern themselves and interfere as little as possible as long as they help me. If you don't believe me, check your internal files." Fimbulvetr says.

"But I am not sure if I can really do this. I-I-I did ask for a job but something more...not like this," said Maya as she saw the portal and looked nervous.

Fimbulvetr giggles.

"I can imagine. WOuld it help knowing that the world I am sending you to permits horrid experiments on still-living life forms? That upon conquering it, I will forbid them from continuing and make them apply their sizable biological knowledge towards medicine?"

Sam blinkblinks and pauses for a moment, glancing over to Miccah for a moment, before looking back to Fimbulvetr, thinking to herself. "What are these odd jobs, nya?"

"Simple. Fetch coffee, fetch print jobs, hunt rogue robots... whatever minor job that needs doing!" she says with a smile.

Miccah couldn't help but to ask the all important question- "... do we get dental?" She snickers slightly, before frowning, this is no time to make jokes! Noticing Sam's gaze, she returns the look with a shrug, before looking back to Fimbulvetr- "Erm... I've worked in science lab before so... I've got no problem with odd jobs around the lab..." "... whoa." It was all she could really say as she took in the view of the world around her, surprised at the look of it all. Shaking her head, she noticed the people and gave a smirk. Bursting through the window, she proceeded to land in front of the people.

Blinking, she stares dumbly...not being at all familiar with even basic computer technology.

The people gasp and stare are the gynoid standing before them... before bursting out laughing.

"Ahahahahahaaahahah~! Okay, who set this up? Was it you Jameson?!"
"Not me this time!"

Her cheeks puff up in annoyance at this. "This is no joke! Jeez, come on..." She said with a pout. After a moment, though, her eyes glow as the holo feature activates and begins to show the conquests of Fimbulvetr.

Miccah's gaze circles the room one more time... "But still... turning people into robots hardly sounds nice..."

Sam blinkblinks a little at the last one. "Well, that doesn't sound...too bad..."

A well-dressed man walks into the doors of Nifleheim Industries! Sure he is a bit late... but he missed the rush! He looks around curiously...

Passively, his internal sensors are scanning the area. He is, of course, and android. But a extremely lifelike one.

"Like that's any--wait. My...what?"

Blinking, she stares dumbly...not being at all familiar with even basic computer technology.

"I do so hate the technologically illiterate..."

Fimbulvetr pulls up a holographic keyboard and types on it. Suddenly, Victor's mind is flooded with images, videos and voice clips depicting and describing Fimbulvetr's conquests! While her methods are extremely pragmatic, (Orbital bombardments of key locations, undermining of the economy and in one case, building up a pariah to ruler of the world in exchange for their cooperation,) it seems that each world isn't left worse off and in some cases, actually improves as a part of her empire.

A video starts playing! It depicts an army going up against a bunch of Fimbulvetr's standard combat robots. At first, it seems like the human army was going to rout them...

Then several dozen battalions of robots are dropped from helicopters so large you could fit a middle-sized city in them. A caption pops up reading, "NIFLHEIM INDUSTRIES HAS SEVERAL DOZEN WORLDS DEDICATED TO THE PRODUCTION OF OUR TECHNOLOGY. SEVEN OF THEM PRODUCE JUST THOSE ROBOTS ALONE."

"Umm...but didn't you just do the same thing right now to me?" asked Maya who looked a bit confused.

"Ah, but the conversion was painless and mostly beneficial was it not? They just do it to see what happens if they do this or that."

Fimbulvetr puts a hand on Maya's shoulder.

"Don't you care that they are suffering?"

Miccah's gaze circles the room one more time... "But still... turning people into robots hardly sounds nice..."

"If you don't like what you see, you can leave." she says, waving Miccah to a door that just opened!

Sam blinkblinks a little at the last one. "Well, that doesn't sound...too bad..."

"Course it doesn't!"

She points Sam to the same door she pointed Miccah to.

Sam blinkblinks for a moment, glancing over to the door that Fimbuletr points to, before looking back at her in a little bit of confusion, before a thoughtful look goes over her face, while a quick glance is taken toward Miccah, but only for a moment. "Hm..."

Ryu watches in interest herself, completely and utterly taken back by the sheer size of the helicopters. Secretly, she wondered if Fim was going to try and take over her own world...

Miccah blinks, this is... too easy, maybe? She wiggles her nose a little, tail swishing annoyedly behind her, still she's not so stupid as to challenge someone who's clearly much, much more powerful than she is... She shoots a quick, final glance around the room, before slowly walking toward the door, although she cannot help but to glance at all the fancy tech stuff surrounding her~
