He blinks a couple of times, thinking. "Uh..actually..I think I remember that. But it was..i-it felt like I wasn't really in c-control for a minute there..."

He answers Thaddea. "Er...if you say so? Actually, this is, k-kind of awkward." He uses a hand to carefully reposition his new tail so it's not quite as uncomfortable in the seat.

Huh... You think we should call Circe about this?

"I d-don't know, maybe..? Does sh-she know a lot about how werewolves work? I've d-definitely never had something like this happen, it's always b-been just changing on the full moon..so maybe it h-has to do with her potion? But I get the feeling it m-might not be her fault, even if it does..." Al stops his endless train of thought by taking a bite--a normal-sized, civil one this time--from the burger and occupying himself with figuring out how to chew with predatory teeth and not cut one's own tongue off.

*A patch of purple fur appears on her face, then vanishes just as quickly.*

Al is taken completely by surprise at Thaddea's brief transformation. "Whoa! H-how did you, uh..I mean, are you l-like, some kind of were..animal..too?"

"Y-yeah, you're right. B-but I'd like to finish eating first, at least...and uh, I-I guess we haven't asked them if they have any openings here, either..." More food goes in his mouth again.

Right... Why don't we do all that after you two eat?

Hey, sounds fine to me. *Ookalf grins and goes back to eating.*

*Thaddea turns to the remainder of her meal and continues nibbling at it.*

Al continues eating. Thanks to the..unusual occurrence earlier he only has about a fourth of that huge burger left. Yet he's still eating like he's really hungry, which is a little strange for someone who's been starving for so long. But Allen isn't thinking of that. He's thinking of how good it feels to actually be able to fill his stomach for once.

*A couple minutes later, Ookalf is leaning back in his seat with a hand over his belly, his burger totally devoured.* Man, I'm stuffed... What about you, Al?

Al's plate is completely empty. "I'm quite f-full myself. I d-didn't even think I could eat that much at f-first..."

[Ookalf]

Yeah, I know... I've eaten some pretty big burgers, but that was one of the biggest... *While they talk, the waitress comes back and collects their used plates.*

Well, I see you two stuffed yourselves mighty quick! I don't suppose there's anything I can do for you fine folks?

Actually, our friend here does have something he'd like to ask you... *Yoko nudges Al.*
