Yeah, they do seem to have rather strict control on a few of those realities of theirs don't they?

Ellen: ...To be fair, neither Calli's Earth nor Kittenoa have any magic in their respective universes, at least not outside the confines of that old Game they told me about. Even the few dragons in Kittenoa don't have access to it.

Ugh... sounds like worlds I couldn't even visit without a lot of preparation first.

Ellen: *nods* Probably. *finishes her cheesecake* ...Which is a shame. Kittenoa's a pretty neat place. The world in general's sort of like what would happen if someone fused Zootopia with Megakat City.

I have been to Megakat a few times. Fun place that. Interesting technology.

...For a general overview, their technology level's about ten years ahead of a baseline Earth, with some exceptions. Same amount of land and water, but no real "continents" to speak of; their largest populated landmass is about the same size as Oregon. About 1% of the world's population are mutants or otherwise have some sort of special powers, so there's a lot of hero/villain stuff going around.

I can see that. I'm going to guess that they at least don't have to wear advertisements on their costumes, yes? I have stumbled across that at least twice. That was some of the odder realities I've visited.

Ellen: ...Sort of like those advertisers on TV that dress up in spandex just to advertise cars or home repair?

Yeah. There was an ice using hero who was sponsored by Pepsi for instance.

Ellen: ...That I can kind of understand, even if the possible uses strike me as fairly mundane.

Yeah, something about superhero insurance or something. It kind of made sense but it was really hard to take the heroes seriously with all the ads on them.

One with an odd theme based on a ninja who advertised anime or the martial arts one who advertised dmm. It was very odd of them to do that and they didn't always impress. Particularly the ninja one. He seemed to be more of an ad than a hero.
