Azhdahā Tattoos and Piercings

[Feng]

"The tongue piercing you mentioned interests me yet I'm worried that it might impede my speech. What size would the piercing be exactly?"

[Ebony]

"Rather small really little more than a simplistic stud. Particularly compared with some of the other options though none are large enough to impede speech beyond maybe the first hour or so. We also have an option that uses a dragon scale in the thing to grant the wearer dragon breath type abilities though I'm unsure how useful that would be for a blue mage."

[Feng]

"I think I should stick with the original stud idea. While the ability to breath fire sounds amazing, I would prefer learning this ability in the field instead of through augmentations."

[Ebony]

"That is what I figured would be your choice. Merely mentioning it in case or so you could recommend it to people you meet. We also have things like earrings that grant super hearing or even a nose ring that renders you immune to both poison and the venom status. I think I even have a little tattoo we could put on your hand that should cut the cost of your spells in half."

[Feng]

"Hmmm... OK I'll go with both the piercing and the tattoo," says Gustav.

[Ebony]

"The nose ring and the earring or the tongue ring? If it is the earring do you want it in the usual position or would you prefer one of those ones further up on the ear?"

[Feng]

"The tongue ring" says Gustav. "I don't think I'm meant for any nasal piercings"

[Ebony]

Kusari chuckled. "I understand. So you want the earring high on the ear or in the usual spot?" She asks while taking out some sanitizing items to set up for the piercings.

[Feng]

"Um... Usual spot I suppose." says Gustav, bracing himself once more.

[Ebony]

"Okay, take a seat here." She directs Gustav to a different chair than the one for the tattoos. "Want to do the tongue or ear first? Also, do you prefer one in each ear or just a single ear? If single which ear would be your choice?"

[Feng]

"How about the tongue. That way I can kill some time while you do the ear. Also, left ear in the normal position please!" ^_^ says Gustav as he sits down in the indicated chair.

[Ebony]

"Alright. If you would open up and stick out your tongue for me." She prepares some stuff to help keep the area clean while holding the tongue in place for the piercing. "This'll hurt just a small bit. Kind of hard to avoid given all the nerves that are in a tongue. If you are ready blink, alright?"

[Feng]

"Like this?" says Gustav opening his mouth wide.

*Blinks*

[Ebony]

"Alright then here we go." She takes a sanitary needle and pierces through the center of the tongue. After a few moments she inserts the desired piercing. "This is currently a bit longer than it will be in the end. It'll adjust to a smaller size later due to the fact that I have to account for possible swelling now. Understand no spicy foods or alcohol for the next two weeks while that heals up okay?" She lets go of Gustav's tongue so he can answer and start getting used to the thing.

[Feng]

"Understood," says Gustav. "I'll put off going to the bar in the meantime."
