Blaze rubs the back of her head.

"Yeah, little bit. Kinda hard with no proper training."

[Mendi-chan]

*Sweatdrops*
Right... Of course...
But... I thought I showed you chakra basics. The tree exercise, the water exercise?...
Oh dear, I've been slacking off more than usual.

"I know the theory, but haven't practiced."Blaze says offering the scroll back.

[Mendi-chan]

*Mendo blinks... and appears to think for a moment as he takes the scroll back*
Well... How about this then. We'll do a quick test to see how far you are along.
*He forms a handseal and looks to Blaze*
Alright... match this seal and concentrate.

[Blaze]

Blaze blinks and mimics the seal.

"Okay?"

She close her eyes and concentrates hard

[Mendi-chan]

*Mendo places his hand on hers... and tries to read her chakra output.*
Alright... I'm going to use my tech to scan your energy levels. Just go on as you would normally, ok?

[Blaze]

"Oh, sure..."

Blaze starts channeling chakra through the seal. The scanners would indicate that Blaze is only at low genin levels in terms of capacity, but nearly chunin in terms of control

[Mendi-chan]

*Mendo nods to himself, looking down to the girl.*
So, relatively average levels but pretty good control for someone out of practice.
I think you should be able to manage the techniques I wanted to show you. This is pretty simple anyways.
*He smiles, motioning her to follow him*
Alright, just walk this way with me.

[Blaze]

Blaze blinks and breaks the hand sign, following Mendo

"Hm? What is it?"

[Mendi-chan]

*Mendo smiles, leading Blaze back to the village. They pass through the gates as the guards give them an approving nod.*
I'm taking you back to the village where I'll show you exactly how to make these types of scrolls... though I must warn you, I wouldn't make more than a couple at a time. It can leave you pretty drained if you don't have a large chakra reserve.

[Blaze]

Blaze looks around the village, this being her first time here.

"Er... right, got it."

[Mendi-chan]

*Mendo blinks and turns to Blaze*
Wait... Why do you look so... er...
*He scratches the back of his head*
I have shown you around the village before right?

"... no Boss. You have not." Blaze says, slapping her forehead with her palm.

[Mendi-chan]

*He sweatdrops*
Well... This is my village. Heh...
*Pondering something for a moment... he motions to her.*
Follow me. I'll show you around real quick.
*He... nearly disappears? Blaze can catch her afterimage with her highly trained eyes and should be able to follow with some ease.*

[Blaze]

"Yeah, I guessed that Boss."

Blaze manages to spot where Mendo was going and sprouts her wings, flying after him!
