Unto thine eyes

[Raleigh]

A disaster or opportunity depending on your attitude about it. Seems people are being turned into children. I am going to round them up so they are safe and assuming no one returns them to normal raise them. After I'm done with them being weak npcs will be the last thing anyone will think of them. Though if I should do the changeling routine or something else here I'm unsure. *Is humming darkness and magic to himself while he begins to flitter about from child to child checking on them to make sure they are healthy.*

As Elliot tries to wake the slumbering girl, she rolls over and wrapps the sleepy boy/girl in a cuddle, snuggling up to them like a Teddy bear...

As the cat girl looks arround, her magical awareness feels a odd tickle...

Bones' amo hits the door, but nothing happens as the metal from the progectiles is safely absorbed, their kinetic energy dissipated...

The blankets settle over the children, there clothing now only getting slightly mussed if one were to move while asleep. As Rei examines the new children, she will find them to all be perfectly healthy. In fact they seem to be too healthy. Their bodies seem to be producing more energy than they should. The exess energy feeds back to the techno organic origins of the magic fields and is in turn replaced with more of the magic field. Perhaps a closer look is warranted into the energy/magic streams???

"No, no!", groaned Elliot as the sleeping girl's arms wrapped around him. He blushed brightly, and carefully held her for a moment, looking into her face, wanting to join her so badly, but knowing he had to do SOMETHING to save them all. Using every last drop of willpower, he carefully eased the girl's arms from around him, and used the over-sized dress he'd been wearing as a blanket for her, before climbing back to his feet and stumbled inside the building.

The foyer looked frighteningly large as he made his way across it, searching for any sign of normality amongst those present. Finding none, he headed across to the door that led to the councilor offices, having to use considerable effort to push it open. Walking down the corridor, he carefully stepped around the children asleep on the floor, just the sight of them making it hard to fight off the tiredness. There was another struggle to open the door of his own office, blushing at how something so simple had become this hard. He hurried towards the seemingly huge desk, climbing up onto the smart leather chair first before grabbing a microphone in a small stand from the desk.

Through various speakers dotted around the streets of Muffinville came the high-pitched voice.

"People of Muffinville! This is your council speaking!", announced Elliot, which was followed by a short pause, and then a yawn. "Do not panic... stay inside your homes and placed of work, and....", there was another pause, which this time was followed by a thud as Elliot nodded off, only to be woken by his face striking the microphone. "... and... we will get things back to normal... as soon as... possible. We have... everything... under... control...".

[Raleigh]

*Pausing to activate a latent spell in the blankets that will shield the children should monsters or the like show up intent on eating them, Raleigh walks over to one of the nearby streams of energy he can see leaving the children and touches it to try and trace it to its source.* I think this little matrix is overcompensating for what it is taking given that the kids have more energy after the drain than before.

What Elliot thinks he has said and what is heard over the towns loud speakers is different...Radically... The sounds comming from them are the childish gibberish of what sounds like singing. Purple dinosaurs, unicorns and fairies seem to step forth from the sound wave generators. Elliot will soon be no longer able to remain awake where he is unless Rei or someone similar gets to him before he slurs something about princesses...^_~

As Rei touches the energy, she will see the subliminal messages about peaceful children, playtime, dreams, old magic and obedience. Odd considering the be dominated flavor of the spell qnd it's white magic intent. Good thing Rei's goddess/sucubus form is in use here...>_<

[Harri-chan]

Thinking he'd done his councilor duty to warn the towns people, Elliot felt like a load had been lifted from his shoulders. He slumped back in the large chair, curling up his hands to rub at his eyes. The over-sized panties were rather roomy now, and close to falling down, but remained where they were for now, under the large white t-shirt as he closed his eyes, murmuring to himself as he dozes off in his office...

Interesting. *Continues to try and trace the route the magic took while turning to see the speakers. At spotting some dinosaurs appear he tosses a spear of water through one of them intent on dispelling or killing it. Assuming he succeeds he analyzes the information he absorbs from the kill to determine the nature of the construct checking to see if it is some sort of song magic or a manifestation of the combined psychic power of all the unconscious children.*

As Elliot drifts into slumberland, his dreams seem to be filled with those fantasies of small children. He himself stranded in a tall tower with long flowing golden locks of hair having tea with a Pegu us and a unicorn...

The energy seems to loop randomly from child to child, and then to the organic materials of the buildings, then back again, at least locally. As her water attack spears thru the dinosaur, it's image only wavers in a way Rei remembers being used before. The sonic construct seems to be powered by the psychic energies of the children as well as the power of the song magic. Though the Dino seems to smile at the attack before wandering down the street towards the others...

[Harri-chan]

Elliot knew something was up from the hazy look to everything. He was staring down from the window of the tower for a moment... before stepping back, and looking down in suprise at the long hair around him. He rubbed at his eyes, and looked down to see if he had his normal body and clothing... when he heard noises from behind, and turned to see the tea party.

"Oh boy... ".

[Feng]

Bones, meanwhile, continues firing away at the door while laughing maniacally. At this point he is almost up to his waist in discarded bullet shells.


"Nyahahahaha!" he laughs, intentionally oblivious to the uselessness of his task. Who knew madness could be so cathartic?

Why isn't he running out of ammo?

The pile of bullet shells climbs ever higher.

Sam blinkblinks and frowns a little as she feels an odd tickle, glancing around nearby. "Something doesn't feel right..."

As Elliot looks down at their dream self, they will notice the white satin gown trimmed in gold and lace, their body well concealed as to their gender, though for all purposes they look very feminine. The unicorn calls out to her..."Are you still waiting for prince charming to return, princess?" the Pegasus giggles girlishly at the comment as she pours the tea into pale gold china cups...

As Bonez continues to get covered deeper in hot brass, a sleepiness starts to slowly come over the crazed mind. Wrapped in warm metal can only make things progress to naptime things...;)

Sam might notice the unusual energy in the air, but something tells her touching it might be dangerous. If she looks arround, she will probably see the children laying arround in oversized clothing if Rei hasn't already seen to them...

Looking on at the effects wrought so far, the hidden one gleefully counts the power bars of the feedback loop.
"Soon, all will be as it should be. Tehehe..."

[Feng]

"Nyahaha Nyahahaha Nyahahaha*Yaaaawn*!"

Poor Bones looks really tuckered out from venting his rage. And no wonder! The pile of shells are up to his ears!

*Yawn* "Tremble door! For tonight, you meet you*yawn* Tonight you meet yo*Yaaaawn* Tonight y-Zzzz ZZzzz Zzzz"

The question now is why they are doing this. *Rei says to herself pretty much certain of the people who could do this.* Perhaps ask one of the constructs to see if they are aware and can tell me anything? *Walks toward one of the fairies while passing by Bones. As she passes the shells disappear, his clothing resizes to fit, and a blanket appears around him.* I think I can use this metal for something charming later. Excuse me, Fae-san, but what are you doing?

As bones slips into dreamland and Rei bundles the maniac for bed, he soon finds himself running thru the tree tops, chasing a small pixie girl..."can't catch me, can't catch me" the musical voice teases and dances just out of Bones reach...

As one of the Fae turn to Rei, she chitters something musical before answering..."We come to play, come to stay. Would you like to play too?" she asks as she dances and pirouettes around the goddes/succubi child. The glamor magic she weaves is easy for Rei to tell it's techno organic foundation and latent psyonic dream weave as well...
