*Taking a step back, Callista takes a quick moment to double-check her inventory.*

Callista: Hmm... might work, but she's stupidly resilient. ...Oh, well; in for a penny. *grabs a bottle of Hawaiian Punch out of her bag and throws it at the other her* Catch, hey!

The double steps to one side of the flying can's apparent trajectory, the lightning fountain thing still going on around her.

*As the bottle flies past, Callista grabs hold of its lid with telekinesis and gives it a twist. A giant white fist roars out of the bottle towards the back of the double's head.*

She attempts to duck under the fist, but if it's a head-seeking fist or something this movement is too committed to dodge further.

*As it turns out, it's not a heat-seeker (or head-seeker, as the case may be), but considering the size of the fist---a full six feet in height, larger than Callista is tall---that fact is rendered moot fairly quickly. The fist plows into the double, scooping her off the ground and rocketing into the nearest wall before falling apart into a cascade of red, sugary rain.*

The can of SURGE spins around in the air as a result of this, spraying electricity all over the place before finally sputtering out. The double sits up against the wall and rubs her head, wincing with pain. "Oww..."

*Callista swings her purse around to try and stave off the electricity when it gets too close. She manages to deflect some of it, but the rest of it hits her right leg, almost making her crash to the ground; it takes some effort to keep herself standing.*

Callista: Okay, kinda stupid on my part, but I'd say the trade-off was worth it.

The false Callista takes this time to produce a can of OK Soda and drink some of it. It seems to be visibly healing the burns and bruises from real Callista's earlier attacks.

Callista: ...Okay, that just ain't rig---

*The bottle of root beer that fell out of Callista's bag earlier chooses this moment to explode violently, catching both her and the double in the equivalent of a bomb blast.*

"Eeeeeeeee!" Fake Callista obviously wasn't expecting a bomb explosion, and gets thrown into the building she's already against the wall of by the blast. She winds up partway inside with some rubble on her, some fairly bad burns...there's some hexadecimal leaking out of her ears, which probably isn't normal.

*Callista is in much the same situation next to her, buried from the hips on down. After a short pause, she regains enough presence of mind to telekinetically remove the debris from both her and the double. ...And also to regenerate her shirt, which was lost to the explosion.*

Callista: *grimaces* Double ouch and a half... why do I still carry those things around? *nudges the double's shoulder* Hey... you awake? Say something if you can.

"Parappa mountain margerinesty...are under the impresario...chex mixmaster..." The double seems to be conscious but more incoherent than usual.

Callista: *winces* And here I was having trouble understanding you before... lets see if this helps.

*Callista grabs a bottle of Dr. Pepper out of her bag, opens it, and pours a little into the double's mouth in the hopes that it will at least deal with the worst of her injuries.*

This seems to help..the effect is maybe not as dramatic as the OK Soda had been. The double sits up slowly. "You...lived me?" Her eyes dart around suddenly and turn to something straight-ahead. "Oh..horsewings."

In that direction is someone who may be just marginally familiar to the real Callista, despite the fact that most of their features are obscured by a cloak. This one has a red glowing eye in exactly the same spot as the other's yellow one, and seems to be approaching by some method of motion that is silent and doesn't involve the slight bobbing up and down normally associated with walking. Once in conversational range, it says "Mo-del Number Four One Five One Seven Seven Four Three. You are mal-functioning. Please return with us."

Callista: *eyebrow raises at the cloaked figure* This explains a bit. Didn't I buy a bunch of tags from someone like you once? *drinks the rest of the Dr. Pepper herself, healing her injuries*
