One more caper....

[Feng]

The law of Ninjutsu conservation is in full affect. While the lone shinobi assassin is a deadly predator, a murder of ninja is a simple pushover, even for the greenest of goody-two-shoes. The lightning rips through the Smoking Ones minions like a ditz through a sea of cotton candy, sending many flying (don't worry, they have parachutes) or else crumpled up into a sizzling heap, dazed by the 'Chevalier's' skill with the spear.

Until only one ninja remains.

[Knight Errant]

Dact twirls his spear... ignoring the law and hoping the ninja isn't aware of it. "Leave now and we can say I defeated you with the others." His electricity, while possibly stunning quite a few chibi into dazed heaps, was formulated to daze and incapacitate rather than kill.

[Feng]

"Honor demands that I refuse!" retorts the lone ninja, spinning his weapon in a series of choreographed movements. He dashes to the left, then the right, before going to roll backwards.... and then settling on a more simplistic leap attack to Dact's face.

[Knight Errant]

And so... Dact goes to clash with the ninja! Stabbing his spear in several rapid swipes at the ninja as he dashes left and right. The strikes missing their mark. Then as he goes to leap and close the distance, he moves to raise the spear defensively. Swinging the handle and counterweight towards the leaping foe.

[Feng]

The pole smacks the ninja, the force of the attack sending the lightweight flying off the ship!

*Clap* *Clap* *Clap*

"Not bad, Chevalier, not bad" said a voice from behind. "Have you ever considered working for me? A man of my business could use a person of your talents. Of course I will compensate you well for your time..."

[Knight Errant]

Dact turns... weapon at the ready. "Huh. If you were more above-board with your dealings, I'd might consider it."

[Feng]

"Such a shame. You'd make a fine minion" says Bones, leering down at Dact from the deck. "I suppose I'll have to settle for you as a maid, though~!"

[Knight Errant]

"In your dreams, maybe..." He points his spear. "Give up this madness, and I'll see you have what passes for a trial here."

[Feng]

"Pish posh! As if I would ever go quietly," says Bones, leveraging a derringer at the Knight's head. "Now, hold still. This will only sting a little."

[Knight Errant]

Dact frowns... then dashes forwards, ducking low and moving to close the distance!

[Feng]

Dact narrowly misses the bullet as it smashes into the railing, covering the impact spot with a green mixture.

"I said hold still!" curses Bones, pulling out his cane, and holding it in a defensive pose.

[Knight Errant]

"In your dreams, perhaps. DEFEND YOURSELF!" He demands, striking out with his lance towards the evildoer.

[Feng]

Bones parries the thrust with a swipe of his cane.

It's remarkably durable.

"This ought to be interesting" said the Criminal Mastermind, even as his cane began to cackle with electrical energy.

Elsewhere, aboard the Observation Deck

"Reginald, how are preparations for Operation Summon Bigger Fish?" said Lord Bones, eyeing the fight between Dactylos and his doppelganger from the Observation Deck.

"The artifact is in place, Master" said the Chibi butler. "It awaits only your activation."

"Good... Good."

He adjusted his monocle.

"I'll wait to see how this turns out, first."

[Knight Errant]

"If you say so..." He presses the attack onwards with swipes and stabs! Clashing with the pseudo-mastermind across the deck.

[Feng]

The Bones-Bot fights back, retaliating each thrust with a parry and each swipe with an aerial dodge! It would appear the entity was playing a defensive game...
