Sure I can!

The online tab just shows you that the lurking doom is closer than normal.

When it goes away, you take a reprieve, get that false sense of security, and then... BAM! Online again.

To truly lurk you need to give people that impression that you might be out there... waiting... watching.... If it never showed me online then you might get complacent and just forget about me.

But oh, no, I'm here. Online. Lurking.

*puts a shark fin on his head and begins circling you*

That may get tiring, incase you forgot or are unaware I'm a giant robot. Infact I'll be nice.

*Tranfroms to beast mode.*

Now you'll get more execrise, I'm longer in my giant white lion mode.

Nah, it doesn't mean I'll get much exercise, unless I had a requirement that I complete each lap in a given time period (And thus have to go really fast) or do a certain number of laps (And thus have to stay at it for a while).

I'll settle for a languid portion of a lap - and now... *burrows into the ground*

Oh noez, I could still be circling you while I'm down here underground.

Can you feel it? The impending lurking DOOOM?

Robot, tactile sensors, so yeah I can feel if you're circling or just playing playstation in an underground bunker you have down there.

I anticipated such a reply (Although I was guessing xray), and have my tactic well prepared in advance!

*Begins making vibrations in the ground which register as the tune of the "Jaws" theme*

Are your robotic neural pathways programmed to experience sheer, undeniable fear?

You should probably worry more about his pride. It doesn't like it being hurt. :P

Those tactile sensors definitely looked like a defense system to me. Even if they are hooked up to a vector computational algorithm for guiding weapons... well, offense is still just the best defense.

You'd be a pretty crummy robot if you weren't defensive.

Nevermind, I take that back - Wall-E was frickin' awesome.

To veer slightly more on topic, WALL-E was certainly cute.
