Looking for Sir Dact!

[Feng]

"What I'm saying is I'm willing to provide a way to counteract the effects, with one provision. In return for becoming my apprentice and lieutenant I, Lord Bones, will restore you to the best of my abilities. Mind you, restoring your masculinity might take some time, yet its a better option than being left to your fate... Unless of course you like the idea of fawning after ever cute boy that wanders by. My organization does not discriminate against those with curious tastes."

(Sips tea for dramatic pause)

"So Volvados, what will it be?"

After twenty-three attempts in which Dact comes across various rooms, including a well stocked bar and the Chibiwanbanshu's training ground, Dact finally comes to a room marked AREA 24: Submarine Docks.


Ellen and Swift find themselves over the bay. Deep below the surface they might be able to find Eebon. The question is, how long can they hold their breath for?

Nobee and Eebon are lead through a long hallway that provides a nice view of the marine wildlife.

"As you might notice, this facility is located fathoms below the sea. Fortunately, the architects have provided numerous safety measures to ensure against dangerous leaks and other perils."

Volvados glares at Bones quite a bit... before. "What happened to wanting to dissect me? You have given me no reason to trust anything you have to say..."

Meanwhile Dact, after getting a stiff drink from the rather nice bar, goes and opens the door to area 24! With his luck it is mislabeled... but who knows?

Ellen and Swift find themselves over the bay. Deep below the surface they might be able to find Eebon. The question is, how long can they hold their breath for?

Ellen: ... *looks down into the water, then at Umbreon* ... So. Any ideas?

Swift: ---We swim down there, obviously. You have those masks with you, correct? I can use Psychic to protect us from the water pressure. Those will take care of the rest.---

Ellen: *heaves a sigh before reaching into her corduroys, pulling out two breath masks* ... ...Well, if Ash Ketchum can get away with it without ill effects, so can I. *places the masks on herself and Swift* ...Let's go.

*After they make sure that the masks are secured and ready, Swift uses Psychic to encase the both of them in a greenish glow. With nothing else to say or do, the both of them jump into the water.*

Nobee: I love the place already. Nobee wonders what would happen if some of those fish were equipped with tiny laser cannons? Gaw.

[Feng]

"You can't," says Bones with a smirk. "I am a Criminal Mastermind you know. As for dissection, you're reckless abandon and determine have convinced me to stay my scalpel."

Volvado's mind is beginning to feel a tad... foggy? It's getting so hard to concentrate!

Dact finds himself in a glass observation deck. Out the glass windows he sees a loading dock.... and the Sea Monkey!

Ellen and her companion Swift find themselves staring at a large white dome with many satellite domes attached by various walkways...

As luck would have it, a pack of hammerheads happen to swim in front of the hallway Nobee and Eebon, each armed with a head-mounted laser!

Vilvados holds her head. "Agh! Fine, whatever! Just do something before I cant think anymore!"

Dact hrmms... and sees if he can get down to the loading bay!

[Feng]

Hologram Bones grins an ominous grin.

"Most excellent" he says, before fading away. Suddenly a grayish mist fills the room smelling suspiciously of... gym socks? The pungent smells is enough to make a silverback gorilla pass out. In fact, that's sort of the idea here as Volvado's feels her strength fleeing her.

Nearby, Dact finds a flight of stairs leading down to the docks...

As luck would have it, a pack of hammerheads happen to swim in front of the hallway Nobee and Eebon, each armed with a head-mounted laser!

*Ellen glances at Swift, nods, then goes down closer in search of a possible entrance. The 'Mon stays close by.*

Nobee: *fur rises, eyes open, grin forms* COOL! These things are AWESOME! Rock, rock, rock, gaw!

Eebon: *in no less shock* Eebon'll give them this much---no one will tell them that being able to see around a telephone pole is a useless ability underwater!

[Knight Errant]

".... ugh." Says Volvados... soon weak in the knees as the horrible smell fills the air.

Meanwhile... Dact takes them!

[Feng]

Volvados passes out...

Only to reawaken back in the Laboratory in a cylinder full of orange goo! For some reason she (yes she is still female) finds it much easier to think than before, although there is a strange throbbing pain coming from her forehead.

Dact climbs down the stairs coming face to face with the Sea Monkey.


Aside from the submarine dock entrance, there does not seem to be any obvious entrances... Oh hey, are those a school of hammerhead sharks?

"Oh my" says the maid looking at the school of sharks swarming over the divers. I didn't know it was feeding time already..."

Eebon: Feeding time...? *looks closer; squawks indignantly* HEY, that's my sister! Someone get her out of there!

Nobee: The poor things are gonna choke to death! Someone get them out of there! Gaw!

Eebon: We're not thinking about the same things, are we...?

*Ellen decides to see if the submarine dock entrance is accessible, swimming towards it. She and Swift both keep their eyes on the sharks, though.*

[Knight Errant]

Volvados... wakes up! Looking around blearily... and down at herself. "Figures..." Well at least she could think... even if her head was rather... hurting. She feels her forehead gingerly.

Meanwhile Dact Descends! And pauses. "I should go on infiltration mode." He says, going into his pack and pulling out a vial. Downing it, the air around him shimmers... and he turns invisible!

[Feng]

Volvados finds a band of metal that is fused to her head. As she touches it she feels a sharp jolt in her head.

"Ah, you're awake then" says Bones from the other side of the glass. "Most excellent. As you can see, I've surgically implanted a device to disrupt the green energy's effect on your mind. A temporary solution, yet highly effective. Tell me Volvados, how do you feel now?"

As Dact's potion causes him to vanish, a heavy (but empty) box falls directly on top of him, covering him up.

What?


Technically, Ellen and her pokemon companion could make it inside via the submarine entrance if it weren't for the fact that the doors are currently jammed shut. If she possesses the ability to teleport like her siblings, however, wouldn't she be able to simply enter the base that way?

"I'm afraid I can't control them" says the maid, "I just work in the kitchens really..." >.<

*Ellen can not teleport, sad to say. However, it seems she may have an alternative. Reaching into her pocket, she pulls out a pair of... laminated playing cards?*

Nobee: Good for you.

Eebon: *hisses* Well, it's not going to be good for sis if she... *pauses, then squints* ...Uh, if she's doing what I think she's doing... *nervously* ...then I think the owner may need to get some repairs done later. Gaw.

[Knight Errant]

"... ack! You bastard! You could have warned me you were going to do brain surgery!"

She pauses... "But... on the positive... I can think clearly. Well... clear besides the throbbing pain in my head."

The box falls! But... did it capture anything? Hard to tell as the subject in question is invisible.

[Feng]

"Glad to hear it" says Bones, pressing a switch. Volvados finds the tube being drained of the orange goop before finding herself being unceremoniously dumped onto the floor.

"Here, put this on" says Bones, handing Volvados some clothes, who is wearing nothing more than the skimpy bikini from before. "Dress code is dress code."

The box DOES manage to entrap sir Dactylos, but not for the purpose of trapping him. No, instead fate has decided to mess with him by providing him a convenient disguise. And look how convenient it is! A forklift suddenly lifts the crate Dact is in and begins transporting it somewhere... But where?!?


The sharks get closer and closer! Whatever Ellen's crazy gambit is, now is the time!
