Looking for Blaze

[Feng]

The hallway leads the dynamic duo deeper into the labyrinth. In the distance, an unearthly blue glow illuminates the hallway and the faint echo of voices can be heard.

"Keep quiet," cautions Bones, drawing his gun before motioning Blaze to stay close.

[Blaze]

Blaze nods and draws her owned silenced pistol, sticking close to Bones

[Feng]

The two inch closer and closer to the lit opening which opens into a circular cavern lit by the blue light of a ancient hearth. Surrounding the flame are various chibi in different colored robes: Sorcerors of the Shadow Council, their apprentices, and journeymen. There is someone else there too but it is almost impossible to make out who...

Their chanting sounds harsh yet synchronized...

Suddenly the head of the chapter raises his hands aloft, calling for silence.

[Blaze]

Blaze remains hidden and strains her ears! Taking out a miniature tape recorder, she turns it on to record what will be said

[Feng]

"Welcome esteemed colleagues of the Council of Shadows!" shouts the leader to his fellow sorcerers. "We have gathered once more to hone our art so that we may usurp and master our control of the weave~!"

He motions to a figure who is tied up.

"Tonight we have a special guest from the surface, a self proclaimed master of Magiks most alien."

The figure, who is obscured by the shadows, yells muffled threats at the leader as he struggles to escape~!

[Blaze]

Blaze frowns at this and whispers to Bones as quietly as possible

"Should we interrupt and save that poor person?"

[Feng]

"The fools a goner" mumbles Bones grimly. "If we charge in we'll only suffer as well..."


The priest raises his knife high.

"Tonight we offer this vessel to our Patron so that he may serve her faithfully in her duties as obedient servant..."

[Blaze]

Blaze sighs and nods.

"I suppose... still leaves a bad taste in my mouth."

[Feng]

"Oh mighty Pepper, patron of the gourd and vine, accept our humble sacrifice and grant us a portion of your wisdom!"

The leader plunges his blade down into the ground between the sacrifice's legs. There is a flicker of light and suddenly Blaze can recognize the figure as some weird brown haired fellow wearing a curious blue robe. If Logos were here she would probably recognize the entity as one Gustav!

[Blaze]

Blaze raises an eyebrow as Gustav is revealed!

"Hrm... I think I heard about someone who looks like that..." she mutters quietly

[Feng]

"Shhhhh...." says Bones, hushing Blaze.

Suddenly the ground begins to tremble as pink vines wrap themselves around Gustav and pull him into the ground!

[Blaze]

Blaze watches the ceremony, quietly fascinated with what was happening!

[Feng]

There is an awkward stillness as the Chibi sorcerers chant over the mound and wave their fingers and fists in a varying sequence of curious gestures.

"Awaken," states the head sorcerer plainly with a nod to the spot as the ground begins to tremble.

"Awaken!" he shouts again in a commanding tone as the pink vines burst from the soil and writhe about like tentacles from a Hentai anime.

"AWAKEN!" he exclaims and there is an explosion of pink pollen that fills the chamber as something plops to the ground!


The cloud of pollen reaches the two eavesdroppers, forcing Bones to let out a fit of suppressed coughing.

"Ugh..." he whispers, trying not to be heard. "This smell reminds me of that stuff the cleaning lady keeps spraying the office with~!" X___X

[Blaze]

Blaze gives a chuckle, protected by her gas mask.

"Stay quiet fool, you want to be next?"

[Feng]

Fortunately for the two, this outburst is apparently ignored by the Sorcerer fraternity who would rather pay attention to what just burst out from the ground with a 'plop'. As the pollen lets up granting Blaze and Bones a better view of the result, they'll notice a dazed looking girl lying on the floor.
